@kmornelas29, well that's a pretty big mistake to make!! Wow! Good thing they called you now. Could you imagine not finding out until anatomy scan??? Or worse. Birth!!!

Last Friday, they called and said they got the results for our panorama test. The dr was gone, so an afternoon hours nurse (who I held 30 minutes for) told me the results. Before telling me the gender she says let me double check. They asked if we wanted to know gender...I said yes, so she said "little girl." We announced on Facebook and told EVERYONE. Even released pink balloons! Fast forward to today. The dr called me and said results were fine. He asked if I was told gender, and I almost said no the nurse told me. Something made me say, "can I double check with you? She told me girl." He goes, "uhhhhhhh, no, no it's a boy!" I was like are u sure???? He was like oh yeah it's a boy!
I dont know if the lady lady was looking at the wrong chart. Saw my daughters from first pregnancy!? I don't know! I have an apt Friday and have major questions for the dr. We are still very happy, Burbank I was crushed for my daughter who would have given her soul for a girl. She was crushed. We tried making it exciting and let her pick some outfits after school. Now she is okay. I was just so sad for her! I hope her disappointment lifts. I would have rather just told her boy than take away the girl that never was.

@kmornelas29 gosh I can't even imagine how you feel!! I am so sorry to hear :-( I'd be expecting some huge apology, as if that would suffice! How terrible. I am so sorry for the mixup for you, but am so glad that your tests were negative! Here's wishing you and your family happiness moving forward!
@kmornelas29 I can't imagine! I know you are thrilled no matter what, but your sweet little DD! Little one's just don't understand. She'll be excited about her baby brother, though, and this will all be a distant memory. HUGS to you!

Thanks everyone for the support! It was so tough telling her, but I took her shopping, so she could get the first outfit and let her tell everyone. Our whole family is shocked. We are of course excited, but it was a huge shock! We got our name down, and trying to move forward positively!

We are super excited we are having a GIRL!!! Of course we were both convinced we were having a boy so had totally decided on a boys name and now have to decide on a girls name! off to the naming board i go...
We are having a boy! We already knew from our chromosomal screening of the embryo pre-IVF egg transfer, but our nurse asked me about 3 times if we wanted to find out with our week 10 Maternit21 test. When she called with the results and asked again if we wanted to know, I just said yes, then had to act surprised when she said "it's a boy!"
@canonmom413 There is now a new sheet on the spreadsheet with counts for boys vs girls. Some people on this thread haven't intro'd or asked to be added to the spreadsheet and so they aren't showing up.

I lied, just went through here again and added a few I missed. Girls are winning by like... 3-4. But like I said, several people here aren't on the spreadsheet as they didn't have an intro post and didn't post on the spreadsheet thread to be added.

So...I ended up in the ER for bleeding yesterday (15 weeks). When they were doing the ultrasound, I asked if it was possible to tell the sex after it was established baby was okay. Well...It's a BOY! My DH is SO excited...he wanted a boy very badly. Carry on the family name yada yada yada.
Still a little skeptical since it's early-ish. Will wait until 20 week scan to tell everyone and their mom.
