We just had our a/s Wednesday and found out we are having a girl! The next appointment won't be for 4 more weeks. It was really cool during the scan, because the tech did a great job of showing us how each area was supposed to look. At one point she talked about a "figure 8 in her brain" and DH & I could both see what she meant so that was neat.
Symptoms?
I'm so gassy and hungry all the time. I don't eat huge amounts of food per say, but I just eat something every hour or so. I still have a lot of back pain, but I'm wearing a maternity belt at work now.
Cravings?
Nothing really? Something pops in my head and then I'll go eat it, but nothing special all the time.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I felt her move a lot last week, and that was super cool. We also decided on Adalind as her name.
Not right this moment, but I've read that babies can hear us from this point moving forward and we should talk to them. Is anyone talking, reading or singing? She reacted when I laughed during the scan and it meant the world to me. I don't feel comfortable reading or talking, but I have been singing because I love to sing.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
I feel like you could make an entire GTKY post on this and I could continue to respond. Recently, I've noticed I hate how close people will stand (or drive) in a line because they're in a hurry. I hate it, and it makes me anxious.
One for the house, is that I hate when people don't rinse the milk out of the bottom of a cup and just leave that little amount on the bottom.
Upcoming appointments? regular midwife appointment this Tuesday
Symptoms? sore hips, especially my right side. If I don't sit right, it's so painful. I've also been extra emotional this week, too, which is obnoxious.
Cravings? hot dogs, of all things
Rants/Raves/Questions? I finally got a pair of H&M skinny jeans and now I want more, except I don't know if I can justify the cost.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have? I hate 4-way stops where everyone is too nice. Everyone is waving at the other person to go or to the pedestrians. IF YOU HAD JUST FOLLOWED RIGHT-OF-WAY RULES WE WOULD ALL BE HOME BY NOW.
Upcoming appointments? Not for 4 weeks. Anatomy scan last week.
Symptoms? Allergies(but I live in the south- so that is more of a symptom of being southern)
Cravings? Ice cream (dq hot fudge sundae)

GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have? People that load the dishwasher wrong. ugh!

Symptoms?
Heartburn. To be expected, though...had it with all three pregnancies so far. Other than that, nothing!
Cravings?
So weird...no cravings this pregnancy. I remember almost crying at times with the other two if I wasn't able to get something I was craving!

I'm really feeling pretty good! I like it that I look pregnant now. No more guessing. I also don't mind if people rub my belly. I am a very touchy/feely person and it doesn't bother me in the least.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
I dont like victims. I don't like people who constantly look for reasons to be offended. I don't like people who feel like the world owes them something, no matter how bad/sad/awful their past situation might have been. The negativity of being a victim just makes my skin crawl!
Upcoming appointments? Anatomy scan last Thursday, all was well. They do a separate scan for the heart so that'll be at the end of April
Symptoms? Getting a little heartburn nothing too bad yet.
Cravings?
Rants/Raves/Questions? MY WASHER IS STILL BROKEN. I think they are going to bring me a new one next week.... maybe.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have? Chewing with their big gaping mouths open. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

Nothing this week - regular appt with full anatomy scan results early next week.
Symptoms?
Right now - feeling great, just hungry all the time!

Cucumbers, chocolate milk and smoothies.

We've ordered furniture for the nursery and I've gotten started on the decor. Ppl keep telling me it's so early but, I'm excited and having been dreaming about this room for a while. Plus it's always been the catch all/unfinished room in the house so it'll be nice to have it done.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
This isn't all people but a lot on our block - picking up their dogs poop but leaving it behind in the bag. Argh...finish the job. I have a dog too and hate poop but it's part of having one. They may have intentions to come back but more often than not they don't. Gross.

GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have? The use of "lol" at the end of every sentence.
19 weeks - mango.
Upcoming appointments?
My anatomy scan is Tuesday. I'm nervous and anxious, but also excited.
Symptoms?
I feel good for the most part, but I could really do without the insomnia and constipation.
Cravings?
Chocolate and fruit. Currently, I keep reaching for Trader Joe's chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels (love the salty and sweet combination) and I've been buying mangoes, pineapple and cantaloupe. At least the second craving is healthy.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I definitely have a belly and have gained plenty of weight, but I still feel like I'm in the is she pregnant or just carrying her weight in her stomach phase especially depending on what I wear. DS1 asked me when my stomach is going to get big and when the baby will grow, which is I guess is better than him telling me I'm huge.
GTKY: What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
The things that annoy me most are driving ones: people who go slow in the left lane especially the ones on their phone, those who merge into the exit ramp at the last second to try to beat out a few cars and the drivers who weave into and out of lanes in traffic.
