It's ironic how those saying they would care the least about outfit and bag choices are so involved and have the most comments/questions! I have sister and she never made it seem as miserable as some of the comments are making it seem.

@PurplePoppy424 I thought you were low maintenance, tube tops, tube maxis are as low maintenance as they come ;)
An article of clothing that consistently needs to be pulled up with the potential of having a nip slip occur is not as "low maintenance as they come" but okay.

we aren't questioning/commenting for our own personal use or knowledge, we are questioning/commenting because we are just baffled by your logic.

  • @LarkSparkle same here, I don't drive and for that same reason getting a bag that can be held in my hand And on my shoulder so I can just quickly take something out from the side, you won't have time to take your backpack off and then dig into the bag especially in crowded places! I doubt u need seperate bags for this.

Fashion tape could help you with that, and all my tube dresses have stick on lining, so  super convenient, no issues whatsoever.  @PurplePoppy424
  • Those pictures are gigantic, sorry. I'm too lazy to resize.
  • @Rae1 well that's good for you then! I wouldn't question you for that. You do you, but that's just me!  I can't give you or anyone more logic for something I dont feel comfortable wearing with certain stuff. Just my opinion!

@AdaByron lol! That green is making me feel "nauseated".
  • @DarkSerendipity yay for everything looking up! That is awesome and very deserved.

  • So how are these straps that are going to be on your bare shoulders? I've done a regular bag and a backpack and I will go with a backpack for this one too.
  • @DarkSerendipity congratulations of finding a new guy, and sorry March wasn't a good month for you.

As for diaper bags, I am definitely planning on getting one from Vera Bradley. I was thinking of getting an L.L.Bean boat and tote with Claire's name on it for trips to grandma's house too. I love those bags!

  • The backpack I got has clips to attach it to the stroller handle. It is AMAZING and Daddy rocks it with pride. I think it is Jeep brand?
  • @BusyZee - look at you using "nauseated" instead of "nauseous." ;) That made me chuckle since I'm the one that brought it up in whatever thread that was (maybe this one??).

We did our registry today and holy heck I'm exhausted. I couldn't find a diaper bag I liked. I want a cross body one and only saw two or three but they were really cheaply made. All the ones I really liked were just a normal shoulder strap that doesn't extend enough to go cross body.

Anything that requires fashion tape is the opposite of low maintenance in my book. We're talking about stuff to wear after the baby comes, right? I can think of nothing less convenient clothing-wise for BFing than trying to get a sore boob out from underneath the tight elastic of a strapless shirt or dress... and if it isn't tight enough to the point that you need fashion tape, it makes even less sense. But maybe some women have superboobs that can both support a tube top and withstand the tugging...

  • @AdaByron I'm pretty sure I had that exact same green tube top in 8th grade. God fashion in 2001 was bad.
