My younger daughter carried a tampon (clean! Still in wrapper!) around the house all morning. I have no clue where she found it, and I decided I didn't want her to have a meltdown over taking it away. So, new favorite toy I guess.
I polished off a pack of fudge stripe cookies earlier this week and have since replaced it with double stuff oreos and coffee ice cream to make my own Coldstone creations.
I bought DD a lollipop from Party City the other day, while unwrapping it, it flew off the stick. I pick it up off the ground and told DD it was still ok and shoved it back on the stick. ....and to think I use to only buy super healthy organic food for her. Bahaha
To piggyback @NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I don't like liners AND I don't hover either. If a seat doesn't look clean enough to actually sit on I find another or if I'm desperate, I'll wipe anything off with TP. Hovering just leads to MORE pee on seats and if we could all agree to just SIT DOWN womens bathrooms might not be so gross. I have more pressing things to worry about than catching something from a toilet seat which is unlikely to begin with.
During convo with my uncle's newest wife at a recent family party, she mentioned that someone had made tacos de alambre (skewer tacos) for the party.. I asked who made them and she said that she didn't know (because if she or someone in her fam did I wasn't going to eat them). Now I love tacos de alambre but my mom has the best recipe!! My siblings, my SO & I always eat about 10+ tacos, we absolutely love them.
My siblings asked me who made them and I said I didn't know, none of us got up to even look at them lol
So then my mom walks in and says why aren't you guys eating my tacos?! AND WE ALL IMMEDIATELY GOT UP.
@bacorrea - I have a real problem with several Disney classics: Pinocchio, Dumbo, and even Snow White are among the ones I won't really push for my kids to ever watch.

Good idea!! I was thinking about this this morning as last week I went after eating lunch at a Mexican restaurant with a friend and was up something like 6 lbs! It was mostly in my stomach so I'm hoping to be the same weight or slightly less this week to make up for it! I think I'm going to subscribe to your plan and try to fake it
FFFC: I told my neighbor that I had to take DD2 to her 3yr well-check yesterday when she asked me to watch her kids for a few hours. DDs well-check was on Monday but I had no desire to babysit her kids. Her kids are a handful!

In college we had to take a children's literature class and for one of the lectures we discussed Disney movies. I wish I could find the article but it basically bashed every Disney movie and how it was either sexist, racist, or something else wrong with it.
FFFC? I still let my kids watch the movies. Although my kids haven't seen Snow White yet, and I'm not pushing for them to see it either.

@vrj0522 Yes! I eat like crap right after the appointment and then for a few days before the next I eat healthy. Although I was supposed to eat healthy the other night and I made no bakes and had them for dinner, dessert and breakfast. They were delicious and my next dinner sucked so bad I just wanted more cookies. Not looking forward to weekly appointments as I will have to do better

That's kind of my attitude. I figure there are going to be plenty of things my kids are going to come across or hear between now and adulthood but that ultimately the morals/values/beliefs that we teach them as a family are more prominent.

FFFC: Kind of happy we have a wind and dust warning right now since DH's niece's birthday party is on Monday. It sounds bitchy, but after they said her mom got squirtgun guns and water balloons for the kids I'm almost positive they all saw me grimace. There's nothing I hate more than children's parties that include water. Let me eat cake on a lawn chair without being sprayed in the face.
i haven't seen DS much this week, because I was out of town for a death in the family. I kept him home from daycare and he's been a total pill about what he wants to eat, so I've let him snack all day and dont really care that he hasn't really had a real "meal"
I just picked up a new coffeeless brownie cooler from Caribou Coffee and drank about half of it before checking the nutrition facts online. It has 500 calories! Luckily DD was happy to help me finish off the rest.

I've told my husband with my first pregnancy and with this one that the doctor doesn't want me to be around any strong chemicals so I'm not allowed to clean the showers/baths/toilets (not true- just nice to get out of the extra cleaning). He's been slacking lately so I let my daughter go nuts with the bath crayons in our shower so now he has to clean it
@momma2char haha! I hope your DH is nothing like mine. He let DD go to town with some bath crayon then he didn't do a deep clean until like two weeks later. It was driving me insane! But since then, he has told there's no more crayon left. They just got hidden.
