Areolas have darkened, and the nausea has subsided. I had three days in a row last week with no barfing! I think I'm beginning to show as well.

I finally went maternity shopping! Although I only ended up buying two dresses, I know what fits me and what doesn't and now I can wait for sales.
GTKY: Are you an extrovert or an introvert?
Definite introvert. However, since I'm an INFJ on the Myers-Briggs personality test (take it here if you haven't yet, it's amazing!) I tend to have certain extroverted qualities. I'll speak up if I have strong opinions, or if no one is taking charge of a project.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I just feel big and sometimes hard to move around (yes, already). I'm still bloated so I think that's not helping.

Rants/Raves/Questions? STM+ moms, how did you introduce the idea of a sibling to your LO? And, any advice on how to make the transition easier for them when the baby is born?

How big is your baby (babies)? avocado.

Any upcoming appointments this week? just had one this morning. was glad I was prepared for these second trimester appointments to be short and boring-- just a doppler check (not even any kind of physical exam), pee test, and a blood test (apparently not the "quad screen" since I did panorama, but the doctor said it tests for spina bifida-- didn't know they could do that).

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? nah. finally able to go more than 90 minutes without eating (before I would feel sick) which should be good news as far as keeping a reasonable weight gain for the next six months.

Rants/Raves/Questions? DH is out of town this weekend for a bachelor party and I am secretly super excited to have a whole weekend to do whatever I want (watch girly movies, work out, eat annie's mac and cheese for dinner).

Any upcoming appointments this week? I'm supposed to have one for a possible yeast infection today or tomorrow, but the nurse hasn't called me back yet.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Nothing too new, but I seem to have aversions to fewer things, so that's happy!

I'm on the edge between them, really. I can talk to almost anyone and am not at all shy, but am not generally energized by being around people, and need plenty of alone time. (I always get either INTP or INTJ, but I think I'm a much better balance of logic and emotion than either of those would imply, and I'm also not particularly withdrawn or private.)

Nothing new. Going to try to eat a little healthier since my diet has consisted of bread and cheese for the past 4 months.

The next appointment is exactly a week away but I hope to get results from the panorama microdeletions today or tomorrow. Long story, we already got the rest of the results, just not microdeletions.

I desperately wanted cucumbers yesterday but didn't get them. Maybe today.

It's 4:35 in the morning and I'm still wide awake after someone tried to break into our house! We don't have a lot of crime in our area at all. It was a drunk guy walking home. He broke the back door frame The police caught him thank goodness. But now my husband is sleeping in the living room. :-(

Definitely an introvert. INFP usually or INFX (like right in the middle of P and T). I enjoy one on one interaction but I just drain around groups super quick.

Today - routine check up with my OB and having the rest of the blood work done that goes along with the NT scan from a couple weeks ago, hopefully I'll get the full results in a couple days.

These headaches that popped up over the last week are no freakin joke.

This is already on my list for the doctor tonight but how frequently/much Tylenol is ok? I've been trying so hard not to take anything unless I really, really need to but nothing helps these headaches unless I take meds. I don't want to overdo it.

@Cats*in*space As far as I know he's not a neighbor. He kept screening f*ck you and gimme food. He ran off when my husband and our friend who was staying with us went out and chased him off while I called the cops. He did a number on the backdoorthough.

I woke up yesterday and could see a SERIOUS bump when laying down. It was not there today. It was poo.

I'm an extroverted introvert. In a room full of other introverts (which are many of my coworkers) I am ms. social butterfly. If there's someone extroverted there, I'll fade into the background. I also need serious recovery time when I'm meeting lots of new people and have to be 'on'.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm going to see what this recent doppler thread is about and maybe talk about out this there, but I freaked myself out hearing two fast heart rates today! But, one was the typical horse race sound and the other was just a steady pulse in the 150s. I was told it's my placenta. But it was so high almost to my belly button!! No wonder I look puffy now!

Any upcoming appointments this week? No, but we got our genetics blood results back today. No chromosomal abnormalities and it's a girl!

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? MS is a lot better, but still pops up on the random morning. Still a lot more tired than I'd like to be... I keep taking naps instead of walks...

Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really. I guess I'm kind of getting into the routine of taking care of the house, the kid, and DH while he recovers from surgery. I don't feel quite as drained as I did at first, and at least I know it is temporary.
Oh, and apparently someone in DH's family (mom or sister, who we told over the weekend) went around telling the rest of his family. Then his aunt posted some kind of "congratulations on your news" on his fb. I was pissed. Seriously, first of all, even if you don't spell it out, how many things could that mean? Second, how does anybody think it's OK to tell anyone or post anything in relation to someone's "news" on fb when the actual parents haven't even posted anything. And DH wonders why I have such a problem with telling people. Because they can't keep their damn mouths shut.

@Sugargirl1019 I am at 17 weeks and have gained 20lbs. I'm tall, so I hide it well. Hoping I just gained fast in the beginning and will slow down for the second half (ha!). At this rate, I will gain 40-45lbs by the end, which doesn't seem too bad to me. My midwives suggest only gaining 20-35lbs though, so that's why I got the "healthy eating" lecture.

Been overly emotional lately -- I cried at an insurance commercial the other day. It was embarrassing.
Strange pregnancy dreams are also in full force. Last pregnancy I had a recurring dream that my husband was cheating on me. Last night, I had the same dream again. In waking life, I am not insecure about our relationship at all, but each time I wake from one of these dreams I feel incredibly sad.

I've finally disclosed to most of my co-workers that I am expecting. Since my co-teacher is due in May, it is so good to have someone to talk baby/pregnancy with.

Despite being a teacher, I am most definitely an introvert. After being around my students all day, I am exhausted. I hide out in my cave and read for a half hour just to rejuvenate before I pick up DS from daycare. I do enjoy being around people and feel close with a small group of friends, but I am most comfortable and content on my own.

Any upcoming appointments this week? Just had an appt this morning. It was a quick check up but we did an US and we got to see little baby. Turns out I have an anterior placenta... not placenta previa just yet... they'll look at that at my anatomy scan. Doctor said I might not feel little baby move until 20-22 weeks because of it though. =/ Also, LO wouldn't open his/her legs... so we couldn't tell the sex. Looks like I'll have to wait for our 20 week anatomy scan appt.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Nausea was slowly fading to evenings, until last weekend when it came back to all day nausea (not super strong like it used to be, but enough to annoy me). Doctor said I might be one the lucky ones who is slightly nauseous the entire pregnancy. Yay

Rants/Raves/Questions? Can my boobs stop growing? Officially need to go get a new bra soon and I'm not looking forward to it.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Lots of headaches, milk seems to be drying up and the same old, same old, with all day queasiness with a side of dry heaving. And food rarely sounding good.

Any upcoming appointments this week? Just had anatomy scan ultrasound (baby looks great!) and check-up with the OB yesterday, but will have to go back next week (4/6) to get my cervix checked again.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Still fighting insomnia, but sleeping slightly better than I have in recent weeks.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I found out at my appointment yesterday that my cervix is slightly too short (3 cm or greater is considered normal and mine is 2.9). This could mean I have a naturally short cervix or I'm at risk for preterm later (eek!). I have to get my cervix re-checked in a week and if no change, I'm good to go. If it's shorter, then I'll have to start taking some precautions like stopping exercise and starting progesterone suppositories. I'm trying not to worry about it too much and just hope all is well next week, but it's hard not to be nervous.
