How many other children do you have? 1 (2.5 yr old DD)

How far along are you? 21 wks + 1 day

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies?

Bloody noses have started and I had them with my last pregnancy. Starting to get uncomfortable sitting for long due to having more of a belly.

Any appointments this week?

Had the A/S on Monday.

Holy pubic bone pain. Every time I stand up it feels like my pelvis is froezem.

How many other children do you have? One 2 yr old DD

How far along are you? 20 weeks today

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? A lot more sharp lower stomach pains when I turn or stand up quickly. Still having the occasional day with morning (afternoon) sickness.

Any appointments this week? We have our AS on Monday

Rant/Rave/Questions? DD is getting over Roseola and now her last 2 molars have decided to start coming through. A very cranky two year old...when it rains...

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer?? Probably his i survived Florida...keep the blind closed, cranky up the AC and be a homebody.

GTKY: what is your guilty pleasure?? Baby/toddler clothes shopping, I always over buy and not just for myself.

How far along are you? 19 +3

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Still nauseous. Still having horrible pelvic pain. I feel like someone literally kicked me in the crotch and the bone is bruised. I'm currently pimp walking which is awkward. I'm thinking about investing in a cane and big gold chain to complete the look.

Any appointments this week? Next Wednesday is my A/S.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel like such a weenie for already looking so pathetic when I walk. I am getting bored of people making comments about having a long, hot summer ahead of me. I need to think of uncomfortable, snarky things to say to them but my brain is too slow right now to come up with anything worthwhile in the moment.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer?? Houston has brutally humid and hot summers but one perk about working is that I really don't venture out outside all that often M-F. Weekends will be tough, though. I hope someone has some kind of suggestion as to what to do to keep a toddler occupied or outdoor ideas that wont have either of us getting heatstroke. I am really wishing we had a covered patio right about now.

GTKY: what is your guilty pleasure?? I love to watch shows involving old British ladies..Not really a guilty pleasure, but kind of weird maybe. The Great British Baking Show and Keeping Up Appearances are some of my favorites.

How far along are you? 20 weeks 5 days

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Lots of trips to potty. Still sometimes nausea at night but good during the day. My first pregnancy I was HORRIBLE sick the whole time, this one has been better.

Any appointments this week? Next thurs

Rant/Rave/Questions? I've been emotionally a wreck lately knowing I'll have to split my time between two. I feel like I'm abandoning my daughter. I know the feelings are normal, but it's been a rough few weeks.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer?? I work a lot so it'll all be air conditioned. And when I'm home we will live at the pool (we have one 2 blocks away)

GTKY: what is your guilty pleasure?? I love to shop for jewelry and purses. I really don't have anything that's very expensive, but I still love to look and shop. My next purchase I've been saving for is a mother's ring.

This poor pregnant woman at my office last year had such bad hip pain, she literally walked around with a wooden cane. I secretly thought it was slightly funny at the time but totally feel her pain now. Just the image of a 30 year old woman using a cane.. I'm terrible.

@secicc12 I honestly feel like I'm close to that. I literally feel like one leg is much longer than the other..I'm not sure what's wrong or if its normal. I plan on asking the Dr. at my next appointment and seeing a massage therapist friend to get her input too because it's ridiculous. If I must have a cane, I will embrace it. You will see a HDBD pic of my bedazzled, glorious walking aid and I will trip rude people with it

@bumpybump I love consignment sales and stores but I hate spending full price on anything. I also like not having to buy the clothing in sets because there is always one piece I don't like.

@belmont1785 I have had a harder time bonding with the baby this time because I know she is going to take my time away from DS. Honestly between exhaustion and sickness she already has.

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies?

I still have morning sickness which was gone already with DS. I am also having some minor hip pain when I lie on my left side, but it doesn't come anywhere close to what other are having.

Any appointments this week?
I had my anatomy scan Monday and a regular Doctors appointment on Tuesday. I officially have GD again, they read my numbers wrong originally. I asked because I thought they looked high. This happened last time with a completely different doctor, so be proactive in you care doctors are human.

I am struggling with names this time. I am finding it so much harder because we know so many more little kids. A lot of names I thought were cute and "unique" last time are now taken by kids I know.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer??

Dresses and going to the lake, I ordered a maternity bathing suit yesterday. It will hit the mid 80's here during the day which isn't bad and our nights always cool down which is so nice. I hate sleeping when it is hot.

I love getting drinks from a Starbucks or the like.

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? So much more insomnia. My ob said at my last appointment she had it really bad with her boy and I found out the next day at the ultrasound it's a boy. I finally remembered to buy unisome so I slept pretty good last night.

Any appointments this week? Not for a few weeks.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Do you still use a monitor for your other kids? We still use one with dd and I think we should stop but dh has other plans. He gets so worried about her.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer?? A pool. If it ever gets hot enough.

@shyviolet the consignment sales here are so hit or miss. I did end up going to this one but I bought one thing for DD (a rain coat) and grabbed some Keen sandals for a friend who was wanting them (and took FOREVER to text me back about them). DD was a little terror around all the toys and I had to drag her out of the place. Next time, I'll be going alone or sticking to garage sales.

@clrgrdfrk we still have a video monitor for DD. We are on a different floor than her so it makes me feel good knowing I can see/hear her. We will use the same system when LO arrives as we can hook up two monitors to it and it rotates between the two.

My main symptoms now are insomnia and itchy boobs. I had insomnia with my other pregnancies from very early on as well.

Any appointments this week?

I had a regular checkup yesterday.

I'm worried about daycare as the one we've been using for the past 8 years is booked up for the next year in the infant rooms. They're trying to work with me and I'm first on the waitlist for when I'll need a spot. I never had this issue with my other kids and was shocked that they booked up so quickly and far out. I hope things end up working out.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer??

DS2 was born in July, but it wasn't too far into the month and we had a fairly mild summer before he was born. I'm due at the end of August and not looking forward to the heat. We have A/C and I plan to spend as much time in places with A/C as possible. I'm sure we'll take advantage of FIL's pool whenever we visit them. Maybe we'll get a pass to our town's pools too this summer as we'll be around most weekends and my kids will want to do things outside.

GTKY: what is your guilty pleasure??
Trashy tv. I probably lose brain cells by watching some of the shows, but I like unwinding by watching mindless shows with silly drama.

Can't sleep more than a few hours at a time. 2 /2- 3 isthe max on a good night. It's turning me into a moody b@#$& and DH is the much better. Fingers legs a bit tingly onand off. The hip pain. I thought this started layer my last pregnancy. Would kill for 6 solid hours of sleep.

Rant/Rave/Questions? DH is driving me batty. He's all pissy at me because I try to talk to him about serious stuff when he is not feeling well and stressed out from his job. He's so stressed he can only seem to deal with work stuff which he really hates right now. I get annoyed about it then look like the crazy hormonal pregnant lady. Seriously, I don't know why he lets work stress incapacitate him so much.

What is your plan to survive a third trimester in summer?? Ummm..Plan...Crap... Hadn't thought that far ahead. Nervous because we do the have air conditioning.

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Headaches and insomnia - same as previous pregnancies. I have been having a little heartburn at night which is new. Maybe this kid won't be as bald

Any appointments this week? I had my weekly progesterone shot today but just with the RN

@Lauradi1010 - I'm in the same boat with sleep. I've been taking Unisom (sleep tabs not gel tabs) which helps me fall back asleep easier when I wake up but some nights are worse than other nights

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? I'm still having m/s, aversions, nausea, headaches, fatigue. Each pregnancy has been harder than the last.

Any appointments this week? Nope. We had a check-up Friday & did the Progenity test.

I'm just excited that this time I live in Utah (ie: dry heat) instead of Georgia (ie: humidity) like I did with my last baby who was born in the middle of July. Oh, and with that pregnancy the air conditioning in our car was broken the whole summer too. It was super fun - NOT.

this one is harder for sure. MS is done but now it's all about the hip pain and general dull cramps and lower back pain.

I know everyone says pregnancy in the summer is terrible, but I'm kind of excited to swan about in maxi dresses. Last time I had to cover up in sweaters and maternity coats. Not as cute, in my opinion.

Super achey in my lower abdomen. I had an umbilical hernia with my first so I am a little parinoid that something similar will happen this go around too.
