@lulu1180 and @BertieMeetsGertie +1 to the slow runners group! I need to get back at it too. bummer we're all in different parts of the country @beachbunnyxo123 Glad the HSG went well and looks good. Also hooray that DH's SA looks good to! @starla try not to stress your chart too much, your body is getting back in the groove and you look like you have a good pre-O chart. Hang in there girl.

So I was all excited that it's been consistent at least and I knew this would be a 'short' cycle. lol or not I mean, I know I'm only on day 31 but I have no signs of O or AF being anywhere in sight, so I'll just be over here

@kiwi2628 your “talent” made me lol; I’d like that one too!
@lulu1180 I always joke that the surefire way to get me to lose weight is to buy jeans in a size up. Hopefully the bigger pants diet works for you too!
@Tennis11785 hope that happy hour ends up being more fun than you’re expecting!
@beachbunnyxo123 glad to hear your HSG went well. Hopefully you get teh other results you’re waiting on soon.
@lulu11 Girl I SO FEEL YOU on the weight gain! Last year I was in the best shape of my life, super active with regular CrossFit and lifting at home too. I decided I was in a good place to TTC, and then it all went to shit. After the first few months of unsuccessful TTC I decided maybe the CrossFit and intense exercise was hindering my ability to get knocked up (which turned out to be false obviously) and so I quit CrossFit. I ended up getting really down from that and ttc, and between the stress eating and the lack of exercise i've put on 15-20lbs in the last 6 months. It's really did a number on my self esteem and I'm trying to do something about it now. Lately I often feel like Regina George in mean girls-"sweatpants are all that fits me right now!"
@morado23 Haha I lol'd for real reading your post because my husband got the Nintendo switch last cycle and I was referring to myself as a "Zelda widow" because he was playing NONSTOP and coming to bed at like 2am each night! Needless to say, there was not much HIO going on.
@sailingmama I'm really sorry you had to deal with your ignorant friends. Everyone in my life has gotten knocked up at the drop of a hat so I've gotten a lot of "relax!" advice too. Also "helpful warnings" about how I "don't have forever!" since I'm 36. I would say reach out the your friends and see how it goes. Take the initiative, otherwise it will keep bugging you, waiting to hear from them. People who have not experienced this just don't get it. I used to be on the flip side, having gotten pregnant with my son super fast--I cringe now thinking back on some of the unintentionally ignorant, douchey stuff I've said to people ttc before I actually had to experience it myself.

WAYDTGKU: bbt charting, opk, pnv, preseed, hio as much as possible
R/R: Rave-it's CD5 and I got a negative OPK! I've had the weird issue of O'ing really early for months now, which has caused concern about egg quality. Last cycle was the worst yet, with a positive OPK at CD5 and a 21 day cycle. So I'm hoping my body holds out a little longer this time, and I'm encouraged by the negative opk. Rant: in my break from the bump I forgot just how much their site SUCKS! Why is it so glitchy and impossible to deal with? Between freezing up and the page shutting down, it literally took me an hour to make this post!

@thebookisbetter I'm happy to see you back here! I was in amazing shape about 4 or so years ago before I moved in with DH (then BF) where I was on a consistent running schedule and I was doing some strength training to tone. I looked incredible and had a nearly flat stomach! For me it all went way downhill after I moved in with him and I have attempted to get back into it on and off so I just need to be consistent for more than a couple weeks. Of course it would help if I ate better too but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day lol.

@lulu1180 I've been telling myself the same thing esp since my dr said too low of body fat can hurt fertility. So I took that as a sign to eat whatever I want & not exercise (ok not to that extent but you know what I mean). I've gained 6lbs in 6 weeks. Might not sound like a lot but considering I can't run for who knows how long, it's not looking good @Tennis11785
@Tennis11785oh those painting classes stress me out because I seriously suck and it's so obvious.

R/R: **tw* do after thinking about it more today, I'm not convinced I actually had an ectopic. They told me the ectopic was either in tube right by the ovary or actually on the ovary and was 2.7 cm. now 2 weeks later, I suddenly have a 4.5cm in the exact same spot. Is that really possible? Or did they misdiagnose me and this cyst has been there (and grew more) and the egg implanted somewhere else? I know I need to talk to my dr about all this next week. But if the chance of having a second ectopic skyrockets after having 1, I feel like it's important to know if I really did have one. (Although I idea how they'd be able to tell now**end TW**. Maybe they didn't realize you were as upset as you were? I wasn't there obviously so I can't say but I'm just trying to find a positive. My opinion, you should go and try to calmly explain your side, how you are feeling, and how they hurt you. If they are true friends they will understand and be supportive, if not, well, you know what to do. Sorry you're not getting the support you deserve @50Wife glad your OB is happy to get the ball rolling, and bonus for her coding things to your benefit! @ladystinson sorry your cycle is being stupid! @morado23- I read to test at room temp on mine too and I thought that was strange. After some research I read that it didn't make a difference to most people. One thing I read that was interesting is that some people freeze or refrigerate their urine to have fmu to test with if they don't have a test ready? Not sure what the real reason behind it is but I just dipped mine immediately and it didn't seem to have any ill effects.
@50Wife- In my short experience with OPKs mine got darker slowly and then my lightest one was right before it got really dark again and finally was positive the next day. I of course, looked into this and found that it can be common. So Fx that its doing the same for you and you get your positive OPK soon!

@TigerCakes FX for nice solid cross hairs soon! @cdnrunning So awesome that you completed a half! Congrats! It's always been a goal of mine but I never quite get there. @RVAmom315 Sorry about CD1 @kiwi2628 I'm with you on having filter problems sometimes. Honestly, my problem isn't so much the words that escape but rather my facial expression, which says it alllll... just like @Cricket648 @KariAnn323 What a busy week! Do you enjoy this convention or is this something you help with out of the goodness in your heart? @lulu1180 Good for you that you got your workout gear. I'm also trying to do better at getting into a running routine. It's hard to stick to when there's so much else going on in life. @Tennis11785 Hope you enjoy HH even though it's kind of far away. A question for you -- what do you think of the advanced OPK? Worth it? @LaurenEG14 So with you on being over this week already. Thank goodness Tuesday is over! @dragonette505 Good luck in the TWW! I'm rooting for you! @Sailing_Mama Ugh. Shitty situation, I'm sorry. If it were me, I'd probably call them separately to talk about why you're hurt. Rant: I'm really not sure about my positive OPKs based on lack of EWCM (which I haven't had since my mirena removal in December) and the fact that my temp isn't up yet. I want a pretty, clear TCOYF chart, please.
CS/Q: I don't know. My chart is posted in my siggy but it's incomplete because I struggle to identify CM. TMI - between hio and pre-seed conditions have been quite wet the last two days, but no stretch. I never thought I'd be so damned invested in CM, you guys. Ugh.
GTKY: What talent do you wish you had, but don't? Like several of you ladies, I also wish I were more athletically inclined. I can't remember who made the Regina George reference, but I am SO over squeezing into my pants but I refuse to buy a new size.

@50wife I had a similar meeting with my OB yesterday! Glad you're appointment went well. Also, the only time I have an OPK get lighter when I haven't ovulated is if it's a false surge. I had that happen about a week and a half ago sure enough I don't think I ovulated until yesterday.

@CandyApple2012 I totally am right there with you on the CM obsession. I can't seem to clearly identify mine either. Why can't it just look exactly like the pictures? lol This is the first cycle I've tried to pay attention to it and I have SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.
@CandyApple2012 I love my crockpot! It's so easy after a long day. And I'm totally with you and @kvacmak on the CM thing. I'm totally obsessed, too. I feel like most of my CM falls in between the descriptions in TCOYF. I'm so confused!
@Starla thank you for the reassurance. I just hope I'm not making up the watery CM and mistaking it for pre-seed. @Tennis11785 I'm almost out of cheapies... and now the advanced is in my amazon cart. @TigerCakes & @Avrilmai crockpot meals are my fave! We're having pulled pork sandwiches tonight and it smells delicious! Now all that's left to do is shred it and grill up some asparagus and we're good to go! @Cricket648@CandyApple2012 I'm glad I'm not alone. FF makes it so much more intimidating too haha. Yesterday I marked it as EWCM because it was pretty stretchy and it turned the day green... I was like woah calm down FF, I'm not ready for that! Made me second guess myself.. like is it *really* EW? but it's definitely not creamy, but it's not clear... I dont know!!!

DH and I run 5 tournaments over the course of 4 days that have 36 - 146 attendees. There's over 300 events events that happen over the 4 days. @Avrilmai Aww, you remembered! I'm trying to just be happy that I get to see so many people that I only see a few times a year. It might also be helping that I have 9 bottles of wine and my water bottle just happens to fit a whole bottle of wine.
FX the cable company is on time! @dragonette505 GL in TWW! @thebookisbetter TB website is awful!!! It's too hard to reply and tag people on mobile though. @purplg8r Glad that your trip is going well. You'll have to share some pictures when you get back @CandyApple2012 It started out with me helping because I didn't have the patience to teach DH how to use Excel. Andplusalso I wanted to be the "cool" girlfriend. We have so many friends who go though that I have a great time. During the day I have to do all of the data entry, get people registered, answer non-gaming questions (when's the next round, where's my table, etc), and that sort of stuff. But all evening and night it's all about being social, playing board games, and drinking.
@beachbunnyxo123 I haven't ran in a while. *TW I'm 9.5 month post partum (csection) and I had a toe surgery around 9 weeks post partum - the recovery was very long TW* I like to do a few events a year to keep me motivated and to have a specific goal I'm training towards. I'm a bit slower but it felt good to get out there and do the mileage. I'm glad to hear your HSG went well. I haven't had any personal experience but it seems as if there's really wide range of good, bad and ugly - at least you fell on the right part of the spectrum @Avrilmai - dealing with the cable company can straight up ruin my day. Sometimes I swear they're just trying to piss me off @Sailing_Mama it was slow going and took me 7 months to get back into sort of decent shape. I really need to continue the training.I had planned to go out and run tonight but by the time I got home I convinced myself to drink wine instead lol. I would reach out to your friends to have a discussion before you all meet up again. If they can't understand where you're coming from then I wouldn't see a reason to hang out anytime soon. Maybe that's harsh but I feel like your expectations aren't unreasonable at all @dragonette505 good luck in the TWW! @purplg8r I'm looking at some smaller half marathons in the DFW area, one includes a brewery tour - sounds awesome, right??? @kvacmak I do!! I like the half distance. I've done one marathon and while I enjoyed it, the training was super long and intense! @ladystinson I was wondering if that was a thing!! I think there is some regularity in my alternating cycles. I was actually going to ask the question to the larger group. It seems I have one side that tends to O a little earlier than the other. I was happy to read that we're in the same boat!
@TigerCakes hope you get your ch soon so you can get on with the tww @cdnrunning so proud of you for completing a half marathon. I would lover to be able to run that far. @Rejufsovelem and @RVAmom315 sorry about cd 1 @beachbunnyxo123 so glad that your hsg went so well! @Sailing_Mama i'm sorry sorry that your friends are being so insensitive to your feelings. I would definitely reach out to one of them and talk through all the issues before having another meal with all of them. @50Wife I am so happy that your ob is working with you so that you don't have to pay as much out of pocket. R/R I think I may have O yesterday, but I'm just going to hang out here until FF gives me ch. Also my mother's night out last night was amazing and filled me with some hope for the future. I have been emotionally down since I started this cycle because the 6 month mark is just right around the corner. Dh has started showing his feelings about adding a new member to the family and it breaks my heart knowing that he wants this just as much if not more than I do. He even got a little weepy eyed when I started cycle 5.

Thank you all for your advice... I was able to lurk but not really post much at work today. It honestly means the world to me to know that I have such an amazing group of women, who genuinely understand the journey that we are all on. I just really want to emphasize how incredible all of the women on this board area - it's hard to find a group of women this close and supportive even among the closest of friends.
I've read and taken all of your advice. I'm going to reach out to them tonight and let them know (using "I" statements, trying to stay away from accusatory comments) how much it hurt me. Even if they don't get it, I hope that they can see that I opened up in what I thought was a safe space, and the support wasn't there. I guess it's a matter of 'stay tuned...' to see how it goes over.
@wabash15@lulu1180@BertieMeetsGertie Do you guys have a Running Room nearby (I don't think it's just in Canada?)? I know they do a 'Learn to Run' clinic, where they help work you up to a 5k with a mix of walking and running. I've done it before, although I no longer run, and had a blast!
@ladystinson I know a recent grad talked about that as well... apparently each ovary can have a different 'typical' FP, so one may ovulate around day 14, and one around day 20 for example
WAYDTGKU: I'm still on my period but I'm taking pnvs and vitamin d. I bought preseed and an opk so I will start using those in a few days. We'll just do it regularly and then definitely make sure to bd during my most fertile time.

@Sailing_Mama Unfortunately, there are very few Running Room locations in the US. I have actually done several 5Ks and even a 10K once. I just got lazy and stopped running and have difficulty getting motivated to start and then actually continue for more than a few weeks or so. I'm hoping that this time will be different.

R/R: going back through my charts I had noticed that I alternate a 28-30 day cycle and then an approximately 35 day cycle. So I was all excited that it's been consistent at least and I knew this would be a 'short' cycle. lol or not I mean, I know I'm only on day 31 but I have no signs of O or AF being anywhere in sight, so I'll just be over here

@cdnrunning Congrats on completing your half!
@RVAmom315 sorry for CD1
@dragonette505 best of luck to you in the TWW!
@Sailing_Mama everyone’s already given you some great advice, so I’m just sending some hugs.

@kiwi2628 Welcome back from your hiatus! I am recently back from my own as well, I think sometimes we all need that step back.
@rvamom315 Sorry about CD1, those are the pits.
@beachbunnyxo123 Yay for HSG going smoothly!
Month/Cycle: 6/8
CD: 5
Between freezing up and the page shutting down, it literally took me an hour to make this post!

so sorry about cd 1!
@beachbunnyxo123 so glad the HSG wasn't as bad as you thought it was going to be!!
@Sailing_Mama oh what crummy friends! If they knew they upset you, they should have reached out.

We just ended our third & final day at Shanghsi Disneyland. Tomorrow we'll head into the actual city to do some sightseeing. I kinda know what I want to see but not exactly how to get there so it'll be interesting to see how it goes!

@KariAnn323 Wow sounds like you have a lot on your plate! Make sure you take some time to take care of yourself
@lulu1180 I hope you found some awesome pants that make running enjoyable for you!
@Starla Enjoy your walk with DH! I love walking, so relaxing!
@beachbunnyxo123 Yay for a good HSG and double yay for go ahead to HIO!
@dragonette505 Fx for you!
@Sailing_Mama Wow that's so hard. Sometimes we THINK we are giving clear signals to the other person that we are/have been hurt, but they just don't come across as clear as we might hope. Sorry you're not getting the support you deserve
@50Wife glad your OB is happy to get the ball rolling, and bonus for her coding things to your benefit!
@ladystinson sorry your cycle is being stupid! Hopefully SOMETHING happens soon!
@thebookisbetter Glad your cycle seems to be cooperating so far!

@cdnrunning So awesome that you completed a half! Congrats! It's always been a goal of mine but I never quite get there.
@RVAmom315 Sorry about CD1
@kiwi2628 I'm with you on having filter problems sometimes. Honestly, my problem isn't so much the words that escape but rather my facial expression, which says it alllll... just like @Cricket648
@KariAnn323 What a busy week!
If these ladies are decent friends, it's worth the discomfort IMO.
Month/Cycle: 4/2 (month rollover for me today. Boo)
CD: 18
WAYDTGKU: bbt, opks, pnv, pre-seed, evening primrose oil, green tea. I even took guaifenesin the last three days... where are you, EWCM gods?!
R/R: Rave: I am really excited that dinner will be mostly ready (crockpot) when I get home and that I'm almost finished with 3rd quarter grades for my students. We.are.so.tired!

@rvamom315 Sorry about CD1

@KariAnn323 Haha to your triangle story. It's really sad how bad I am. My DH makes fun of me for it all the time. Glad your temp is looking normal.
@cricket648 I've taken 5.5 years of Spanish and I barely know anything either.
@lulu1180 I've also gained too much weight and am trying to get back into running. Good job for taking steps to get in better shape!

@sailing_mama Sorry again about your friends. It depends on the friends, I probably would call them out on it, but that's just me.
@50wife I had a similar meeting with my OB yesterday! Glad you're appointment went well. Also, the only time I have an OPK get lighter when I haven't ovulated is if it's a false surge. I had that happen about a week and a half ago sure enough I don't think I ovulated until yesterday.
@KatieEL Good job getting your work out in! I always feel much more productive when I am able to fit one in.

@kvacmak Yay for your DH coming home today!

@Starla The convention as a whole has over 3,000 attendees.

@purplg8r Glad that your trip is going well. You'll have to share some pictures when you get back
@CandyApple2012 It started out with me helping because I didn't have the patience to teach DH how to use Excel.

@Avrilmai - dealing with the cable company can straight up ruin my day. Sometimes I swear they're just trying to piss me off
@Sailing_Mama it was slow going and took me 7 months to get back into sort of decent shape. Maybe that's harsh but I feel like your expectations aren't unreasonable at all
@dragonette505 good luck in the TWW!
@cdnrunning so proud of you for completing a half marathon. I would lover to be able to run that far.
@Rejufsovelem and @RVAmom315 sorry about cd 1
@beachbunnyxo123 so glad that your hsg went so well!
Good luck with your tests, praying that the road ahead of you is short.

Cs/Q. None at the moment
GTKY I wish many things but I will have to choose gardening.
@wabash15 @lulu1180 @BertieMeetsGertie Do you guys have a Running Room nearby (I don't think it's just in Canada?)? I know they do a 'Learn to Run' clinic, where they help work you up to a 5k with a mix of walking and running. I've done it before, although I no longer run, and had a blast!
@ladystinson I know a recent grad talked about that as well... apparently each ovary can have a different 'typical' FP, so one may ovulate around day 14, and one around day 20 for example
@thebookisbetter @lulu1180 Add one more to the DH + TTC = too many extra pounds club
@purplg8r I hope your dr has better answers when you get home and can ask those questions... I agree, that sounds like it doesn't add up properly

WAYDTGKU: I'm still on my period but I'm taking pnvs and vitamin d. I bought preseed and an opk so I will start using those in a few days. We'll just do it regularly and then definitely make sure to bd during my most fertile time.
