@riverraine yep. Pretty much. Because of stranger danger they don't want to leave their child in the car for 15 seconds while they put the cart away. Or use the logic of "I carried my kid to the cart so I can carry them back from the cart corral".

Let me say...we got pizza last night (WITH pineapples). I was looking forward to it and there was barely ANY pizza sauce. It was only good because of the pineapples. Overall it was disappointing
No to pineapple and no to cottage cheese. Ewwww. Side note: when I was very pregnant with DS 1 and I was desperate to go into labour, DH came home with a whole pineapple for me. I almost threw up in his feet. I wasn't THAT desperate.
DD goes to the grocery with me every week. After I unload the groceries, she rides in the cart to the cart park, I pick her out of the cart and I either carry her or she holds my hand back to our car. All snark aside - what is so hard about that?

I have so many dings in my 2 year old car from freaking carts!! Put your dang cart away!!! I couldn't use enough exclamation points to express my dissatisfaction with people who don't put carts away.
I think our biggest fight was over the Teal Pumpkin project. Oye that was a sanctimommy blow up if there ever was one!
purplestars it wasn't really over the meaning of the Teal Pumpkin project but rather a glorified sanctimommy that everyone was beyond tired of. She was one of those that just loved to push everyone's buttons no matter her stance on an issue.
