Hi my name is Tonia. This is my first time doing IUI and my first time posting on a forum! I'm 10dpiui and I'm trying with all my might not to take a test as I am afraid I will test positive because of my trigger shot. I am very new at this and didn't know if any one had any advice. My dr told me to test 2 weeks after the IUI which will be this Friday! 3/24/17 I can not wait hehe. But my normal period is due the following Monday 3/27/17 so I am just tempted to wait till I have a missed period to test. I'm on progesterone so I have all the symptoms that are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms or period symptoms so it's hard to tell the difference.
I apologize if I offended anyone, I'm new at these forums and sorry if I posted in the wrong one. I tried deleting but haven't figured it out. Again I am so very sorry.

Ive gotten pregnant twice on my own in 2016 but both ended in miscarriage so we decided to see a fertility specialist in November 2016 and did allll the testing and bloodwork and everything came back "normal" so the IUI was the next step. Please any advice or encouragement would be so helpful! -T
Welcome @ShyTonia Yes, the two-week wait (TWW) is tough. If you haven't already, please read the newbie guide pinned to the top of the board and then join the TWW daily thread to power through the wait with group. GL!

OP, please please please add a trigger warning (TW) to your post since it mentions loss! The excitement around your first IUI is understandable but I urge you to read the pinned posts at the top of the board as well as lurk to get a feel for how the board works. This would have gone great in the IF/testing weekly thread that we have as there are several ladies there who are either currently going through an IUI or have in the past and can commiserate with you. I wish you luck in your continued journey and want to tell you that if this IUI was successful, please please please DO NOT come back here and update us. Instead, just move on to your BMB!

@ShyTonia Thank you so much for adding the TW, but please do not delete the post. Things like this will hopefully help others to realize where the best place to post may be. We hope that this IUI is successful for you, but if it's not, please stick around and hang out with the amazing ladies on this board. You will find the most supportive group of women ever here and they can help you through some of the bad days.

@ShyTonia - No need to delete! We actually prefer you don't delete! It's a learning experience, and hopefully your post will help others learn how we organize our board and where to post things!
As others have said, read the pinned post and jump right into the conversations on the TWW posts and the IF post. There are lots of women who can certainly appreciate what you're going through and can offer great advice.
I hope you get your bfp (positive pregnancy test)! If you do, move right over to your birth month. If you don't, I hope you come back. I think you'll find people are really supportive and helpful once you start to get involved in our standard posts. I can tell you from experience, the TTGP ladies have gotten me through some incredibly stressful times!

@ShyTonia You can either join the daily TWW thread (I'm not sure if it has been started yet today) or the weekly IF/testing thread. Or you can post in both depending on how you're feeling.
