I've been working on freezer meals too. Last pregnancy I had gone shopping for everything I would need because I had a day off that week and planned on knocking it all out. Went to have an ultrasound that morning and they told me I was going to have to have a C-section that day. Apparently afterwards while I was all drugged up all I kept saying was "But what about all the meat in our fridge? Who's going to deal with all the meat?"
I'm in the I made double dinners a few times club I planned to get a bunch of stuff and spend an afternoon prepping them.. but then I get tired just thinking about it. Maybe I'll enlist my mom's help in getting a few done since I've already been too lazy to cook and used a couple of the ones I made!
Will someone please come over here and get rid of my husband for me so that I don't have to go to prison for that. Packing up our house while 9 months pregnant with this man who is THE SLOWEST PERSON ALIVE is literally killing me. I keep wishing I would go into labor or something just so that this torture can end. Why did I marry someone who is SOOOOOOOOOOO SLOW?! And like, take some freaking initiative. I mean, you are a freaking grown ass adult. Look around at what has to be done and do it. Don't make me ask you 62 times to get up off your ass and put some stuff in a box. And my precious 3 year old.... who would like to take her for the week. I have nothing.... I repeat.... nothing left in me for this. I just want to lay in bed and cry because these people are the most useless people in existence.

@mrsstuessy I felt this exact way a few weekends ago. No one was doing anything helpful or productive and I wanted to scream (ok, maybe I did a little bit. Ok, a lot a bit). I can't imagine packing and moving this close to our due dates! You get a gold star just for living at this point
@mrsstuessy maybe you could just stab him a little bit. Not enough to impede his packing ability but enough to get your point across. And let him know that pregnancy hormones count toward temporary insanity so if you wanted to kill him you could get away with it.
@mrsstuessy can you guys hire movers? That way you can keep your sanity, those guys will actually do what you ask them to, and no jail time for murdering your husband! I 100% feel your pain, as we got done moving about two weeks ago and are currently in the organizing phase and it's kiiillliiinnngggg me. my husband didn't want to hire movers though, so he and a buddy ended up doing everything because at one point I just flat out refused. I think the most I did was pack some clothes.
You are a re a rock star though - I was about 30 weeks when we moved - I can't imagine being any further along. Ugh.
I started my freezer food yesterday. I now have one batch of cookies in the freezer. Not lactation cookies, just regular chocolate chips. I also made cupcakes with Swiss meringue buttercream because it seemed like a good idea to spend the sweet gift of energy on these healthly pursuits instead of cleaning the house or making real food for the freezer. Gold star for me! In my defense the cupcakes were taken to a party so they weren't all for me. Also, I have no regrets.
Despite the heavy baggage that this day carried, I had a pretty good day. We stayed busy and my SIL even treated me out to a mani/pedi since it was my birthday. Thank you all for supporting me and being that open ear when I needed to vent/cry. You ladies are the best and understand my mental/emotional state even more than my husband does.
