R/R: I got my temp spike today so I'm 99.9% sure that O has occured but I figured I'd hang here until CH. Making progress with our house and getting the inspection set up which is exciting.
CS/Q: I still question how to read my chart sometimes. I think I'm going to post in the chart stalk thread.
GTKY: Yes, I think for the most part I do because I have experienced some unusual things. There were numerous times when we would hear really loud unexplainable sounds in the middle of the night in the house I grew up in. There was also this one night in particular that my dog was going completely insane for no reason and when I walked into the kitchen where he was, the cabnit doors were all open. I had just been in the kitchen prior to that so I know they weren't open. Also- lights being turned off out of nowhere. Weird stuff.

R/R: not really either, just sharing. So I have to do an interview today and we were notified that the person coming in is legally deaf. I'm kind of nervous for myself! They said she great at reading lips but now I'm all paranoid, like what if she can't read MY lips though??

One night my husband told me that earlier in the day, he saw an old man with like yellowish glasses (you know when you see that yellow tint to glasses on older people from years ago) in a white button up shirt. He peeked out from behind a wall by our front door and was just checking things out but ducked back once he saw that my husband noticed him At the time, my husband had no clue who it was as it wasn't anyone he recognized.
Fast forward probably 6 months or more and I'm at my aunt and uncles for Christmas Eve dinner (he was working) and I see a picture of my great grandparents (who both passed away well before my husband came around so he had never seen either of them) and it just clicked. I took a picture and send it to him and just wrote "have you seen this man" and he just writes back "THAT WAS HIM!!"
So my great grandfather that I haven't seen since second grade or so was just hanging around my house apparently.
I have ghost stories for days. I hope some of you have good ones!! I'm totally interested in this.

R/R: Got a positive OPK today! I'm meeting my husband at a fancy hotel in the city this afternoon (which I got last-minute for $130!), so we'll probably have all the sex, go out for Sri Lankan food, and then have some more sex. We're going away for the weekend tomorrow with some friends.
Have to clean the kitchen and bathroom before I leave, tho, which is a buzzkill
CS/Q: I was having EWCM yesterday (at work, natch, with my husband in a different state). Negative OPK last night, positive this morning. Today I've got copious, thin, milky CM. Kinda like halfway between "lotiony" and "watery." I only started OPKS last month and noted the same pattern. Is this "hostile"?
My chart is insane this month, so hard to make sense of, but I've been trying a little harder this past week for consistency and I haven't spiked my temp yet.
Soooooo.... what I'm wondering is: anything I can do to make my CM "friendlier" at 4 o'clock?

We live next to an abandoned house that has the look of being left abruptly during a cocktail party in 1979. So weird. It sounds worse than it is, haha. We like looking at it all covered in plants! Our adoptive ghost is "Barbara," the last known resident who supposedly lived her last years there in the throws of dementia. My husband once took a rocks glass from the bar, then sh*t starting going down in our kitchen – food burning, glasses breaking, etc. I made him return it on Christmas Eve, and while he was walking back, some last-minute presents we'd given up on arrived via UPS. So we don't take anything from Barbara anymore.

R/R: DH and I went to a college baseball game last night. It was fun and a cheap date ($8 total for the tickets) but the game went into extra innings and we finally just had to leave, it was after my bed time lol. So I'm pretty tired today.

my mom has several ghost stories. There's one she tells about a house we lived in 30 years ago. *TW a woman had completed suicide in the house years earlier end TW* our dog would sit outside of the master bedroom and just growl at the room and mom said she saw the sheets fly up off of the bed once. My mother is also a bit histrionic, so the story may have been embellished a bit.

@50Wife That's a great ghost story, and pretty sweet that your great-grandfather wanted to check out your DH! I think the deaf person may be more nervous than you. I think you should just act normal. He/she probably doesn't want special treatment.

Rant: ***TW*** My OPKs are still positive after my M/C. I'm assuming that it's from the HCG, but I have been getting a lot of the same symptoms as I usually do before I O. @50Wife Oh I'd be nervous too! I'm sure you'll be fine though - I think like most things just try not to make a big deal about it where it'd be awkward (which I don't think you would), and then fake it till you make it!
@orbmaker Yay for a BD rendezvous! My CM did something similar last cycle too, and I asked that question. One of the others (I forget who though) pointed out that it's also how it feels - does it feel lubricating? Mine almost felt oily when I rubbed it between my fingers, for lack of a better term. Apparently that would still be considered watery/fertile quality. If you are concerned though, pop into a pharmacy or I think even a Walmart and pick up some PreSeed
@Avrilmai I replace some of my coffee with green tea, but still have my morning one. I think green tea only has a third of the caffeine that coffee does, so I try not to worry to much. I figure if I can replace even one coffee with my two cups of green tea, I'm doing better. Plus I add in raspberry leaf tea as well, so between the two, I always have tea on the go, which helps me not drink coffee at work

R/R: Rant: I got a solid smiley and positive OPK today, so that is awesome (sarcasm) since we haven't HIO since Monday and DH is across the country until Sunday.
Rave: Even though I'm bummed about the bad timing, I'm excited to see when/how my temp rises and learn more about my body! If my cycle stays consistent I should be in HI for FW next month! That has to be good luck right?
CS/Q: No questions but it's in my siggy if anyone wants to stalk

I love this question!! I absolutely believe in ghosts! I have tons of ghost stories but I'll pick my favourite. When my brother was three or four we were hanging out in moms room and he looks at me and was like "sissy, why is there a little girl crying on moms dresser?" Blew my mind.

R/R: Rant: Cramps. Rave: Getting my period without a pill means I actually ovulated. Also holy crap temping really does work. Even the day when I got a positive OPK but didn't ovulate (PCOS problems) I had an outlier high temp. My mind is blown.

R/R: RANT/RAVE--So CBDA Opks are going to be the death of me. I had a flashy smiley face (high estrogen) starting on Tuesday (forced DH into BDing that night). This morning, I had a solid smiley face, despite the fact that I wasn't expecting to O until Tuesday... so I guess I am Oing now or in 24 hours? The cheapies, however, are dark but not as dark as they should be/will be... I really think CBDA turns positive 48 hours before O... BUT I convinced DH to have sex this AM and am hoping I can do the same on Friday night... so will be decent timing... I hope
CS/Q: Had a below coverline but significant spike yesterday, more normal low today... hoping to see a post-O spike Friday or Saturday to confirm O!

I’m awful at monitoring mine. There is something called preseed or something I’ve heard mentioned on here that is a type of sperm friendly lube that is supposed to help…

@Avrilmai , green tea has just a small fraction of the caffeine in a coffee, so just keep that in mind. Maybe try to just stick to one cup of coffee plus the green tea?
@morado23 I think spotting for 3 days is probably normal. I spot anywhere from 1-3 days.

@orbmaker That sounds like a lovely way to spend your Thursday! As for the CM, I don't know for certain, but I'm under the impression that's it's still fertile. I get it on my last day of being fertile - either the same day of an OPK or soon after. Hope no one else has tried messing with Barbra!

@Avrilmai All I know about green tea is the longer you steep it, the more caffeine you'll get. On the off occasion that I drink green tea I'll mix it with an herbal blend. Probably a 1:2 ratio of loose leaf teas.
Apparently I read my thermometer wrong yesterday morning, which would've been my temp spike, so FF gave me the dotted cross hairs when I adjusted the data. I'm going to head over to TWW.

I am on the fence about ghosts. However, I've heard some weird stories - specifically from my husband who is an avid believer and has told me a couple stories. Right after his grandfather passed away, an old radio turned on in the basement, when no one was in the basement. Apparently, his grandfather used to go down in the basement and listen to it all the time... My husband also claims that he once saw a ghost at the edge of the bed as a child.

I do believe in supernatural beings and believe I saw an angel when I was a kid. My friends and I used to tell ghost stories when we were kids and get each other all freaked out that we'd THINK we'd hear and see things, but it was probably our imagination. These stories are fun to read though!
