Hormonal changes/update after failed IVF (MC mentioned)

Hello All,

  After a very rough end to 2016, my husband and I have finally jumped back into trying.  Long story short, we thought our first IVF cycle was successful, only to find out a week later that it was most likely ectopic.  I received an injection of methotrexate the day before my 30th birthday and was very fortunate to have little side effects from it.  We've waited the mandatory three months before trying again, and this will be our second month trying on our own before deciding if we want to IVF again.

  For about two and a half months now, my skin has been breaking out non stop.  Nothing too crazy, but more than it every has.  I've also been getting weird little pains in my lower abdomen but I'm not sure if they've been there my whole life and I've just never noticed them or it's from all the hormones or the ectopic pregnancy.  The most concerning thing though happened when I was at the gym the other day.  I haven't been working out as consistently as I used to, but I have always stayed active.  I was taking a class and had to stop half way through because I was either going to pass out or throw up.  That has never happened to me before.  I just had my physical and blood work and that all came back normal.

  I had also been very stressed at work, but that stress has died down thankfully.  But now since I'm not as consumed at work, my focus automatically turned to infertility and how much it really sucks and saddens me.  I started reading "Conquering Infertility" again as well as trying to de-stress with tea, baths, journaling etc.  It does seem to be helping.

  With all that said, I do believe that the IVF cycle and/or methotrexate messed with my body and mind.  Which may be why I'm so hesitant to want to do it again.  But we'll see what happens.  I am very thankful for this forum and as much as I wish we weren't here, I'm thankful for this community.  It's comforting being able to write freely to other's who are experiencing similar things.
