1) How far along are you? 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? 3) Cravings/symptoms? 4) Rants/raves? 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well?
1) How far along are you? 6 weeks today 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? No appointments, but I did have my first blood test last week which confirmed my pregnancy and got the ball rolling with my ob/gyn's office. That definitely took a lot of weight off my mind. 3) Cravings/symptoms? No cravings -- food aversions, definitely. Overall symptoms include fatigue, sore breasts, cramping, nausea, gas, other feelings of indigestion, minor bloody nose issues. 4) Rants/raves? I'm pretty terrible at feeling like this - I know so many people who have had it far worse, but I really frikkin hate this. I just want to fast forward through all this crap to the end. I am so not interested in the magic of pregnancy anymore. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? When did you/when are you starting your registry? Is it too early for me to start putting one together privately? What are acceptable things to even PUT on a registry? I really have no idea what I need or should do. I'm the first person in my immediate circle of friends to be pregnant so I don't have a lot of guidance, and my mom didn't even have a shower for me due to old European familial superstitions. Tl;dr I don't know what I need, what I am "allowed" to ask for, or when I should start making note of things I would like for the baby. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? Okay so my husband and I have, at times, a...unique relationship. We have 2 songs, neither of which is would be appropriate for a first dance song (as an aside, I chose A Thousand Years by Christina Perri). The first one, for those Dr. Who fans out there, is "I Can't Decide" by Scissor Sisters, and the second is "Fake Palindromes" by Andrew Bird.

1) How far along are you? 5 weeks 3 days 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Nothing until 4/4...so far away! 3) Cravings/symptoms? Intermittent cramping, sore breasts, when I am hungry...I need food now. I get naseaous if I am hungry and don't eat, but that's it. 4) Rants/raves? Waiting for the 8 week appt is so hard!!! 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? Nothing at the moment... 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well?
"Stand by me" and yes it was our first dance song. Any time we hear it, even in public, we stop whatever we are doing and dance.
1) 6+1 2) I wish I had an appointment. A week from Monday is my first - the wait is killing me. 3) Nausea is my friend, but I haven't thrown up yet. I'm trying to just let my nose guide me in terms of what not to eat. Boobs are still crazy sore and getting bigger which is scary (already starting off at ddd). As for cravings, last night I got a huge craving for honey nut Cheerios - getting a box today and I'm so excited. Hopefully this can be a breakfast food I want to eat. 4) Just that this wait until week 8 for an appointment seems like forever. 5) Not yet. I just want to get beyond that appointment so I can start planning how to tell people. 6) Our first dance was to Lucky, by Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz. Still one out favorite songs!
@Tourmalily that's a good question! I know some big ticket things I want but I don't feel comfortable asking for them (i.e. fancy diaper bag, fancy stroller), where is the "that's rude to ask for" line? I have actually pinned a bunch of suggested Baby Registry lists from Pinterest and will pick and choose from those. As for creating a private registry, I'd say go for it! Why not save the things you like right now? That way you won't forget about them and you can always go back and add/delete. @jess0211 that's soo sweet, I love that you guys stop and dance to it no matter where you are. @nicholsjm agreed, this wait til the 8 week appointment really is forever. You're almost there!
1) How far along are you? 4w3d 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Just a PCP appointment yesterday. It went well, only got a pee test but was nice to have an official confirmation. My PCP works a lot with the OB I want so that makes me feel so much better because I LOVE my PCP. It's nice I'll get to see both during this pregnancy. Next appointment isn't until April 13. 3) Cravings/symptoms? No cravings really, and the only symptoms I really have are intermittent cramping and sore nipples. The hunger is still there but has diminished a bit. I'm really tired today so maybe that's the fatigue kicking in? 4) Rants/raves? I feel bad about continually wishing I was further along in my pregnancy. I'm jealous of people at 5 weeks and 6 weeks. It's mostly because I just want to feel more secure about this baby but it makes me sad that I keep feeling like this because I want to enjoy being pregnant, especially since I don't feel bad at all. Stop and smell the roses, Duchess. Also, my cat's being kind of a jerk today. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? Not right now, I'm sure I will later. Hooray for the questions thread. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer. It wasn't our first dance song (that was "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran - same title, different song), but I did walk down the aisle to a very slow, pretty piano version of it.
@DuchessOfCambridge I went ahead and made a registry on myregistry.com so I can pick and choose items from different stores. My friend suggested it and it's pretty cool, but I still don't have anyyyy clue what I should be asking for. I'm with you on the "not sure if it's OK to ask for this", although, I asked for some big-ticket items for my bridal shower on a whim and a few people went in together to pick them up. I hope I'll figure it out as time goes on.
Also, I felt pretty much identical to how you're describing when I got my BFP and I was only 4wks. I'm 6 weeks today and I STILL feel that way, to be honest. I want to get out of the first trimester and get into that much-talked-about golden second trimester, haha.

Lurking 3rd time mom - in regards to big things on the registry...
I put everything on there for my first. Even furniture and stuff. I bought most of it myself. A lot of places give you a registry completion discount - so like 20% off of things on your registry - towards the end of pregnancy. There are also times when a group of people want to pool together for a big gift. (A bunch of my aunts got together to get us our car seat and stroller.) Just make sure you have some reasonable things on there too! It's like a wedding - if people can't find something they like on the registry, they are most likely going to buy you something crazy that you will never, ever want or use.
@kissthesky32 Thank you! What would you say are some good essentials/staples to put on there for people to get? The last thing I want is for people to waste money on things I won't use or don't want, but I reallllllly don't know anything. I'm so in the dark, and every listicle on the internet says something different about what's a "necessity".

@Tourmalily@kissthesky32 do you think a registry thread might be a good idea? I know I'd find it useful and others may as well if we don't think it'd clog up the board too much!
@DuchessOfCambridge I think it would help me out a lot to read honest opinions from moms who've been there and also from other moms who are just starting out and in the same boat. I just honestly don't even know where to begin! I never imagined I'd have so much trouble with this, lol

1) How far along are you? 5wks 1day 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? No appointments yet 3) Cravings/symptoms? Most of my symptoms have faded away. (Kinda scary) except for the extreme fatigue. Sometimes if I shut my eyes I feel like I'm drifting off to sleep. *i miss coffee* 4) Rants/raves? Keeping this a secret for now is only getting harder. Friends are our right asking me, a photographer friend did a maternity photo shoot and said, "this could be you! But it's not!" It's really awkward for me because I am a terrible liar. Terrible. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? Should I be concerned with no symptoms? Or just enjoy it? Still no sign of AF and still positive on the pee sticks, but I still worry. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We don't really have a song!

1) How far along are you? 6 weeks 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? First appointment is next Thursday 3) Cravings/symptoms? I've had nausea the past two weeks, but then this morning my body thought since I'm 6 weeks now the actual throwing up should start. 4) Rants/raves? DH is out of town this week for work, but every time we talk he says he loves all 3 of us (me, baby, and puppy). It's so sweet and I melt every time he says it. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? Not right now. Super interested to hear what everyone has to say about registries though. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? I don't think we really have a "song". Our wedding doing was Me & You by Kenny Chesney.

@thj101 I don't have many symptoms either but my tests are also still super positive and I know I'm healthy. Though I keep wishing I was further along in my pregnancy, I'm trying not to think about all the ways things could go wrong and just focus on the fact that I'm pregnant right now and it's amazing. I'm also trying to enjoy the lack of symptoms instead of worrying about them. My PCP said often, women expect to feel fine or be really sick and end up the exact opposite. I expected to be super nauseous all the time because I get motion sick so easily and get migraines all the time but so far, no nausea and no migraines either!
ETA: @daisymae6215 that's SO sweet that your DH says that! Anytime my DH says something like that I melt into a puddle.
@Tourmalily and @DuchessOfCambridge I'll happy to tell you what we got that we ended up using all the time! I'll write it out in the registry thread during nap time
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? My first ultrasound was last week and all looks well! My next one is 3/23 at about 8 weeks along, then I "graduate" from my RE if all continues to look well.
3) Cravings/symptoms? Nausea, much worse at night. Food aversions. Sore boobs.
4) Rants/raves? I am going to an early pregnancy/first trimester class this week that the hospital offers. Curious to see what information they offer for navigating this first trimester, since it's all new to me!
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? not yet
6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? Our first dance song was "I Swear" by John Montgomery.
DH: 31, Me: 27 Married May 2014 TTC #1: May 2015 September 2016-December 2016: Met with RE, fertility testing, diagnosis of tubal scarring, and plan of IVF *TW in spoiler boxes*
Surprise! Unexpected BFP 2/22/17 just when we were about to start fertility treatment!
1) How far along are you? 6 weeks 4 days 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? I have a dating ultrasound this Saturday at 7 AM!! I will be 7+1 so I am really hoping to see a heartbeat and a nice little blueberry baby!!!! FX. 3) Cravings/symptoms? Craving absolutely nothing. Any and all food generally makes me queasy. I have to eat small bites and wait until the perfect moment when I think I can stomach it. 4) Rants/raves? Ranting- I'm really running out of patience at work with certain people. Something about being constantly nauseous and tired that really takes your bullshit tolerance down to 0. Raving because I just keep getting happier and more excited about this day by day. Feeling hashtag blessed. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? What kind of social life do you generally have in the first trimester? I've been feeling so crappy lately that I haven't done anything with friends in quite a while. Especially since I'm the first of my closer friends to be pregnant AND I'm trying to keep this a secret for a little while longer. Will this change after the first trimester? 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? It's Dead Sea by the Lumineers. I'm such a sucker for it ...I'm actually creepy smiling while typing this. Haha. Definitely will be played at our future wedding.
@Tourmalily@DuchessOfCambridge@kissthesky32 Yes registry stufff!! I actually made a HUGE hilarious list the other day of baby items I'd need and it totaled about $5000, so obviously I immediately started panicking. Not sure if I overdid it there so any and all advice is appreciated!
@ebelknap I have personally been avoiding socializing much because I know some people who knew we were ttc will ask or just ask in general bc people are nosy, and I am bad at lying.
@ebelknap I've pretty much told my closest friends, but most of them live far enough away that hanging out actually requires planning at least a week in advance, so it hasn't really had an impact on my social life yet. This weekend I'm supposed to go to a revolutionary war reenactment here in CT and do some kind of cooking demo and it's going to be filmed? And to be honest, I'd completely forgotten about it and now I REALLY don't want to go because I don't want to tell any of these people that I'm pregnant, but they're kind of a boozy bunch and they're going to offer me alcohol and I'll have to refuse. Maybe I can say I gave it up for Lent??

1) How far along are you? 5 weeks, 5 days 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? First prenatal apt and ultrasound is the 29th 3) Cravings/symptoms? I'm exhausted. No real cravings, more like everything seems good and I want to eat but I'm not really hungry. 4) Rants/raves? DH is working 12+ hour days for this month for a training exercise and he literally comes home right after I fall asleep so I wake up at 5am with him just so I can see him for a bit and do important things like have him sign the application for an apartment when we move in May. If he doesn't get to go to my first appointment I will be pissed. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? So I like the Uppababy Vista because it looks nice as a single but turns into a double. However, I have doubts that it has enough legroom for the child sitting in the back when it's in double mode. My other option is a Baby Jogger City Select but idk if I like how it looks as a single (because it's longer which give the good legroom for 2 kids). We plan to try and have our kids back to back but I don't want to spend $800 on a Vista and not like it as a double.
TL;DR has anyone used a Vista as a double? 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We just had a town hall wedding so no first dance song. We don't really have a song now but when we were dating, "All of Me" by John Legend was one we liked especially because after 5 months of dating he went active duty and we didn't see each other for 7 months, got married last minute, and then a few weeks after our wedding he came to Korea 5 months before me while I finished college.
2) Any appointments this week or last week? Was suppose to have a scan today but the storm came. Rescheduled for Friday.
3) Cravings/symptoms? No cravings, the nausea makes it hard to eat anything but Small meals seem to work best. I wish I could eat healthier but I can't stomach greens right now so potatos it is!
4) Rants/raves? None at the moment
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? STM- When did you feel completely in the clear from concerns of a MC? I worry with every twitch and ache. I so want to be excited but I won't let myself until we get through 12 weeks.
6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? Our song is "You are the love of my life" by Sammy Kershaw. It's an old country song that not many know. Yes, it was our first dance in 2010, can't believe we're going on 7 years of marriage and 11 years total<3
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13
1) How far along are you? 4 + 1 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? First appointment is a pregnancy confirmation on 3/23. 3) Cravings/symptoms? Nothing yet! I had some mild cramping last Thursday-Saturday but nothing since. I *think* my boobs are starting to become a little tender, but I might just be imagining it. It's ridiculous how much I want to feel some unpleasant symptoms! 4) Rants/raves? Nothing other than 3/23 can't come soon enough. 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? What typically happens at a pregnancy confirmation appointment? Will they draw blood to confirm? I'm assuming it doesn't get very exciting until the 8 week appointment. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We don't really have a song, though there are tons of songs that spur feelings of nostalgia from our early relationship whenever we hear them
1) How far along are you? 3 weeks, 5 days 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Going to schedule beta test tomorrow. 3) Cravings/symptoms? Mostly sore boobs, backache and abdominal pressure. 4) Rants/raves? Just really excited and scared after getting my BFP today! 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? When are others planning to buy things? I don't plan to buy anything until after the first ultrasound and then maybe a few small things. Once the first trimester passes, I want to go to thrift stores and second hand sales to buy items on sale. 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? Our first dance song as "From This Moment" by Celine Dion. I wouldn't say we have a song together, we just picked that song for our wedding because it sounded nice.
@LadyMeowMeow I just had my confirmation appointment yesterday and she just had me pee in a cup and then told me it was official. Other ladies here have gotten blood drawn to check for beta levels so I asked if I needed that and she said no, I'm not high risk so I'm assuming that's why. She did a quick checkup (listened to my heart and stuff) and then spent some time going over diet and what to avoid (which I'm taking all her advice on) and let me ask questions for as long as I wanted. That was about it!
@LadyMeowMeow@DuchessOfCambridge My first apt. was also just a pee test to confirm, vitals check, go over what not to do and what to do, to get prenatals if needed, and to go over my OB options
@heatherdubrow I agree that betas are normally only done for fertility treatments. I am paranoid because of my loss and requesting them from my OB. Figure it doesn't hurt and it only cost me $13.
@dragonfly87 I understand the desire for fast answers, but getting bloodwork or an appointment you don't need makes people who need it have to wait. *TW* Every single pregnant woman is afraid of loss, whether they've had one or not. Imagine a woman with 7 losses (as you saw on the miscarriage / loss board) having to wait because you're curious. Also, remember that knowing the beta number might make you feel less anxious, but if it's low, it's not like anyone can do anything. */TW*
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
NYTino24 While I understand your perspective, my OB actually recommended that I get blood work done within a week of another positive test. My progesterone was low (and so were my temps) during my first loss. So confirming progesterone levels and betas would be a good thing for me. They may not be able to do anything about it, but it is what she recommended.
Getting blood work done at my clinic doesn't take up any space for another woman who is waiting because they have three lab techs that do the blood draws and there is hardly ever a wait. Often, the OB will send results or post online. I could also see a nurse for follow up. So I kind of find your response a bit off putting. Maybe my OB is overly cautious, but I am going to lean toward the advice of my doctor on this one.
ETA: I am not looking to be argumentative. I am not saying my situation is more important or less than another woman's situation, but that doesn't mean I cannot advocate for my own health care, especially when I have talked about this with my doctor.
It's definitely important to take others into consideration just as a rule of life, and I could see this being more of an issue if you get bloodwork done in a very small place with too much demand. However, just because someone else somewhere may have it worse doesn't mean you don't deserve to advocate for yourself and your healthcare. I am sympathetic to any woman who has experienced a loss and truly hope I am lucky enough to not go through it myself, but if I think what I'm doing will help my baby whether it's through peace of mind and less stress for me or through monitoring by my dr, I'm going to do it.
Honestly I think this is more of a clinic issue than our issue. It should really be them prioritizing schedules based on risk, i.e. someone with 7 miscarriages should absolutely have her blood drawn before me, who is low risk and hasn't experienced that before. They're the ones who know everyone's medical history and can take the guesswork out of it. It shouldn't be up to expecting mothers to think about every possible scenario that might be worse than theirs when deciding what to do about their healthcare. Even if that were to happen though, I would only be waiting about five minutes.
I hope this doesn't come off argumentative either because that's not my intent, just providing a different perspective. I may have been lucky so far and I'm truly thankful for that, but I don't feel that just because I have been lucky my baby and I are less deserving of care I want than others, just as I don't feel we are more deserving than others. Healthcare is so personal, and I think it's totally fine to worry about just yourself and your baby.
TL;DR Taking others into consideration is important, but so are you and your baby. Sorry this turned into a novel!
1) How far along are you? 5 weeks. Every day I get more and more excited! 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Ugh not for 3 more weeks, feels like foreverrrr 3) Cravings/symptoms? My cramping is gone so basically just some fatigue and sore boobs. I did throw up at work the other day but I think that was related to a gross smell (hazard of being an RN). Other than that I'm feeling really good! 4) Rants/raves? I agree with @DuchessOfCambridge, I'm jealous of everyone being farther along, I want time to speed up but also want to enjoy every second of this time! It's so hard to not just blurt out to everyone I meet that I'm KU! Also my rave is my DH, he is soooo excited and is just so cute 5) Questions for FTM, STM+? None yet, I'm LOVING the registry board, so helpful! 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We don't really have one, our first dance song was from a guy we went to see in concert the night before we got engaged though.
@nicholsjm aw, that's my husbands and my song too! We didn't use it for our first dance since it didn't go with the "feel" of our wedding but we dance to it in our living room all the time!
1) How far along are you? 5 weeks today! 2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Only appointment so far was Wife's blood test at the RE to confirm; another blood test on Friday to check numbers. 3) Cravings/symptoms? My wife is nervous that she's still feeling so "normal," but she did report having very sore boobs last night. She has been feeling tired, however we're on vacation at the moment, and we're busy doing things each day. We'll see how she feels once we return home and are back at work, in our normal routines. 4) Rants/raves? Rant - Because we've been working with the RE to conceive for over a year, we did share that information with a small circle of family and friends so we would have support along the way. Our little support group is so excited (and, cautiously optimistic) for us now that my wife is finally pregnant and are happy to respect our wishes to keep the news to themselves until we decide to share. My MIL, however, seems upset that we're making this request as we recently found out she's told her friends, neighbors and knitting circle that we've been trying. She eventually agreed to keep quiet, but she is acting like a martyr in doing so. This is definitely giving my wife and me a lot of anxiety.
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? We have only been working with the RE so far and have not yet selected an OBGYN or midwife. We're not sure when we'll be "released" from the RE's care, so I'm thinking we should probably select our prenatal provider now..? How did STMs go about doing that? And, any insight into doctor vs. midwife? 6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? Our first dance song at our wedding was The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love." We're big Beatles' fans!
@daisymae6215I LOVE your rave - that is the sweetest!
Also, thanks for the registry ideas, and for the thread. That'll be so helpful!
*Edited for words. Texting is hard. **Edit #2 - I just came across the OBGYN/midwife thread, so please disregard my question!
Just throwing my two cents in here. I've thought about this issue too, as I've only (hate that word) had two clinical losses. I hesitated to make an RE appointment because I didn't think I'd had "enough" losses. But my RE specializes in RPL and encourages women with two clinical losses to be evaluated and have "expectant management" with subsequent pregnancies, and this is in line with current ASRM guidelines. This is what I'm doing now. I worried about "taking a spot away" from someone with more MCs, but where's the line? 2, 3, 5, 10? There's almost always someone who has it worse than you. All I can do is trust the recommendation of my healthcare provider - I agree that some of the onus needs to be on the healthcare provider to provide the best appropriate recommendation for their patients. As long as someone is following the advice of their doctor, I won't complain too much. In any case, people definitely shouldn't be putting themselves on medication solely based on what they see others doing on a message board. Also, regarding wait times, they can vary widely by clinic and type of appointment. I had to wait 3 months for my first RE appointment because they were booked out, but with my betas, I've never waited more than 2 minutes for a blooddraw after checking in, and there was literally no one else in the waiting room. The whole process took less than 5 minutes.
In short, I think there needs to be a balance. Women need to do their research and understand what is normal and appropriate for their situation, and the healthcare provider needs to consider each patient's history (and their own patient load) when making recommendations, talking about risks/benefits, and scheduling appointments.
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Had betas drawn at 17 DPO - 771! So things are looking good so far. I was worried because the HPT wasn't as dark as I thought it should be. I'm done peeing on things.
3) Cravings/symptoms? Tired, sore boobs, constipation. That's it.
4) Rants/raves? PGAL brain sucks and my H is awesome and supportive.
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? None right now. Mostly worried about lack of symptoms.
6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well?
@RiverSong15 I hear you and really agree with you saying 'normal and appropriate for your situation.' Which is what @NYTino24 was getting at. Ive seen a lot of people here on this board rush in for betas and it's just not necessary. I think you going in after having 2 losses was right for you and a smart move. The RE wouldn't see you if they didn't think it necessary. The discussion of misusing resources doesn't apply to those with a diagnosis or history of recurrent losses. I think where it applies is when there is no reason to suspect something is wrong. Btw I'm so very sorry for your losses.
@heatherdubrow I understood what @NYTino24 was saying. But I also think there is a huge difference between misusing resources and what we were talking about. I don't know if it's what you are implying, but me having blood work done (5 minutes of a techs time, twice) for hcg and progesterone, after my doc recommended it is a far cry from taking up an RE doctors time that could be used for a patient that truly needs it. Her alluding to me having blood drawn of impacting a woman with 7 losses, is not an appropriate analogy in my opinion. But we may differ on that perspective.
Re: FTM Check-In 3/14
6 weeks today
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?
2) I wish I had an appointment.
@jess0211 that's soo sweet, I love that you guys stop and dance to it no matter where you are.
@nicholsjm agreed, this wait til the 8 week appointment really is forever. You're almost there!
1) How far along are you?

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?
Also, I felt pretty much identical to how you're describing when I got my BFP and I was only 4wks. I'm 6 weeks today and I STILL feel that way, to be honest. I want to get out of the first trimester and get into that much-talked-about golden second trimester, haha.

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? No appointments yet
3) Cravings/symptoms? Most of my symptoms have faded away. (Kinda scary) except for the extreme fatigue. Sometimes if I shut my eyes I feel like I'm drifting off to sleep. *i miss coffee*
4) Rants/raves? Keeping this a secret for now is only getting harder. Friends are our right asking me, a photographer friend did a maternity photo shoot and said, "this could be you! But it's not!" It's really awkward for me because I am a terrible liar. Terrible.
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? Should I be concerned with no symptoms? Or just enjoy it? Still no sign of AF and still positive on the pee sticks, but I still worry.
6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We don't really have a song!
DH: 36

Trying for #2!!
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? First appointment is next Thursday
3) Cravings/symptoms?
BFP 02/25/2017, EDD 11/07/2017
Also, having the same issues keeping it a secret! People ask me and I have a hard time lying!
ETA: @daisymae6215 that's SO sweet that your DH says that! Anytime my DH says something like that I melt into a puddle.

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?
@Tourmalily @DuchessOfCambridge @kissthesky32 Yes registry stufff!! I actually made a HUGE hilarious list the other day of baby items I'd need and it totaled about $5000, so obviously I immediately started panicking. Not sure if I overdid it there so any and all advice is appreciated!

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? First prenatal apt and ultrasound is the 29th
3) Cravings/symptoms?
TTC since August 2018
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?
We don't really have a song, though there are tons of songs that spur feelings of nostalgia from our early relationship whenever we hear them
2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go?

2) Any appointments this week or last week? How did it go? Ugh not for 3 more weeks, feels like foreverrrr
3) Cravings/symptoms? My cramping is gone so basically just some fatigue and sore boobs. I did throw up at work the other day but I think that was related to a gross smell (hazard of being an RN). Other than that I'm feeling really good!
4) Rants/raves? I agree with @DuchessOfCambridge, I'm jealous of everyone being farther along, I want time to speed up but also want to enjoy every second of this time! It's so hard to not just blurt out to everyone I meet that I'm KU! Also my rave is my DH, he is soooo excited and is just so cute
5) Questions for FTM, STM+? None yet, I'm LOVING the registry board, so helpful!
6) GTKY: What is your and your SO's "song"? Was it/would be your first dance song as well? We don't really have one, our first dance song was from a guy we went to see in concert the night before we got engaged though.
@daisymae6215 I LOVE your rave - that is the sweetest!
Also, thanks for the registry ideas, and for the thread. That'll be so helpful!
*Edited for words. Texting is hard.
**Edit #2 - I just came across the OBGYN/midwife thread, so please disregard my question!
In short, I think there needs to be a balance. Women need to do their research and understand what is normal and appropriate for their situation, and the healthcare provider needs to consider each patient's history (and their own patient load) when making recommendations, talking about risks/benefits, and scheduling appointments.
4+6 today
We're lame and don't have one.
