How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) a little anxious but mainly tired. And my acne is getting really bad. I did something to my shoulder so my neck and shoulder hurt a lot! Unfortunately I think it was my pregnancy pillow
When is your next appointment? Tuesday. First appointment with my ob. Hoping my Harmony results are back. Getting anxious to find out.
Whats the next pregnancy related thing you're looking forward to? feeling the baby move or having a real bump
Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: Who is your favorite fictional character? (From books, TV, or movies) I love Betty from Ugly Betty
@Texafornian I'm so sorry. I know your heart must be breaking, but you are so strong. I admire your ability to keep your spirits up. (((Big hugs))) Still praying.
Thank you everyone for the comments yesterday. We definitely did get it on, but DH admitted that he was freaking out a little and afterwards he swears he could feel my uterus as he was on top lol and it spooked him and no more missionary for a while apparently HAHA. I uploaded the scan from today on the U/S board with the details. Tomorrow we go to my nornal OB for the regular 12wk appt.
MFM doc wants to see me at 19wks for a level 2 anatomy scan...his justification was kind of like just because and to make sure all is well bc of my history of MC etc but more just because and they have better equipment than my OB at the naval hospital. Sooo there's that. I told him as long as my insurance covers it ok. Lol
@texafornian I
am so sorry to hear that L I will keep you and baby in my thoughts for a miracle and
sending lots of hugs your way.
@ztega does it
make you feel better if I say I already bought both a crib and stroller Im also crazy.

Rant/Rave/Questions? My face started breaking out and I feel so huge and
bloated. Not feeling very pretty at all!
GTKY: Who is your

Had my regular OB 12wk appoint today. Got to see baby again! and the HR was again 149bpm! Ahh so in love. Scheduled an appointment for 16wks, and yesterday at MFM I scheduled my anatomy scan for at 19wks!
So happy so excited. I cannot believe we're this far, and have a healthy baby in there. It's really overwhelming for us, and I am still a little skeptical, but I am just so beyond in love all at the same time.
SuperKristy85 i am a huge planner but the thought of buying cribs and strollers right now scares me... so it's driving me crazy...... now i'm afraid by the time the baby gets here I won't have bought anything lol

I get so overwhelmed looking at all of that stuff and trying to figure out what I want, so I just stop and look at cute baby clothes instead, lol. I think I'm going to make a list of all the big stuff I need, and try to decide what we will go with one at a time. I may even make a spreadsheet, because I am THAT nerdy of a person, lol.
@HollyGolightly09 I have a list of things I found absolutely essential that I made for a neighbor...want me to PM it to you? Might help with sifting through all the nonsense of needs/wants. Lol

@hollygolightly09 the only thing I have picked out 100% is the stroller travel system I want... but it's $500 dollars and i'm so scared to invest in it ..... maybe i think i'll jinx myself? maybe i'm not convinced this pregnancy will make it to term? not sure but i can't make myself buy it

Oh and little tidbit of advice on the cute baby clothes...stay AWAY from buttons...especially if on the back! You'll thank me lol. Way to hard to get on and off of baby! Baby will live in pjs and onesies for first few months so don't go crazy buying outfits out the wazoo. Pjs...HIGHLY recommend Old Navy footies and then the separates as they grow. Soft, comfy, easy to put on and affordable. Carter's kind of gets whacky with pj sizing but also good when they're tiny. My DD is a sept baby...I got a lot of use out of the little wool vests with hoods from Carter's...good to layer. Both Carter's and Old Navy have great leggings for itty bitty sad well.
Oh and little tidbit of advice on the cute baby clothes...stay AWAY from buttons... -snip-
SO MUCH YES. At 3 am when you are sleep deprived trying to button a whole sleeper all the way back up is a cruel joke. I can't tell you how many times I'd get done and have an extra button or have it buttoned completely wrong... zippers are the way to go for sure. We tried those little dress things with the open stretchy bottom but DS always kicked it up over his tummy so they didn't work for us at all. But the buttons... evil.
Another tidbit on onesies!! You know how they have overlapping flap shoulders? That's so you can pull it DOWN over their arms instead of over they're head if need be...it's so if they get poop on the outfit you're not dragging crap over their head lol

I totally understand this!!!!! I feel like all I do is spend my spare time researching baby products, why are there so many options!!!! But... Im also the kind of person that has to stay busy so this is what I do while my husband sits and watches TV. I can never just sit and watch TV, it makes me so antsy. I have to keep myself from looking at the cute fun stuff because I will fall in love with something and then get so sad at the idea that it may be the other gender and I cant have it (and this goes for both genders).
Amen to the no buttons! Snaps are okay though once you get used to them. I do have a few sweaters with buttons on the shoulder but I wouldn't do it for a newborn.
@Texafornian Still sending good thoughts your way!
Met with our new doctor yesterday and he was WONDERFUL! Good news is he and his wife are AMA parents so he understands what we're going through so far as risks and all. He just wants to double check the rather large ovarian cyst the first part of April and possibly repeat the blood work since my clotting tests gave odd results. We feel far more confident with him than our old doctor. Actually had a full hour long appointment with no sense of being rushed out.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

@rainafire77 I'm so glad you love your new doctor...having an OB who is on your side and truly advocating on your behalf makes ALL the difference in the world. Xo
Not new to the birth month, but don't recall posting in this board before. We have two boys so far and are currently living in Japan due to a PCS last fall.

How are you doing? (Mentally, physically...) Physically exhausted and still nauseated a lot of the time even on diclegis, reglan PRN, & probiotics. Mentally, still struggling to bond as much with this babe. Hoping I'll feel better once we get our NIPT test back hopefully this coming week (it's been more than 2 weeks so far).

@rainafire77 So glad you are loving your doctor... it really makes such a difference!
@jutondreau Welcome Japan, wow! Do you love it or hate it?
@HollyGolightly09 still adjusting, honestly. I've NEVER been a stay at home mom & unfortunately, there are no real opportunities for work (I'm a nurse practitioner) for me here. Trying to revel in the fact that I won't get this opportunity to see DS2 grow & learn like this & be available for DS1 like I am...it's been kind of an identity crisis for me. But, alas, I'll adjust soon....hopefully
@JNR6510 it's kind of long and I'm wordy lol...I don't mind pm'ing to anyone who wants it. Andplusalso, its stuff that I personally found useful...not an end all be all by any means...I'm sure there's stuff I forgot or even stuff I don't know about that worked for others...
@jena333 I'm sure it's just the sex...GET IT GIRL!
@jutondreau going from a career to a SAHM is most definitely an adjustment....I can attest as I'm sure lots of other ladies here can too! I was a camera operator in TV and film for 20yrs in Los Angeles and we decided to move to Texas (DHs home) when my DD was 8m old. I had taken the three months maternity leave, worked 5m and then we moved to the burbs in Texas. CULTURE SHOCK and identity crisis here too! Lol Same boat as you...not a lot of opportunity for work for me where I live now but like you said...kind of cool to get that time with your kiddo. I wouldn't trade it for the world! Best of luck and enjoy!
When I got up from bed this morning, I had a little gush and enough clear, odorless liquid to make my inner thighs wet...it freaked me out, but there was no blood, so I'm guessing I just peed myself a bit? I hope.....I even do keigels sometimes...maybe it's time to up the consistency there!
