WAYDTGKU: pnv and HIO. We just started using pre seed this cycle.
R/R: It's Monday. And it snowed last night.
GTKY: I have a pair of cowboy boots that I got when I was 16. (I'm 32.) Theyre perfectly worn, the leather is distressed and are completely molded to my feet. And also the soles are almost gone! I haven't worn them in probably 5 years but I know that I will again at some point and I can't bring myself to get rid of them.
R/R: Damn body. Slight temp dip. I should have known I didn't O based on how much EWCM there's been the past few days
CS/Q: nope, it's pretty straightforward
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
Not sure really, at least 6 or 7 years. I cycle through heels pretty often though, at least the "go to" pairs I wear to work. I find I have to replace those every 1-2 years.
@Redpuma119 Those boots sound killer! Have you ever considered getting them resoled? You'd have to wear them down a bit again so it wouldn't stand out, but you could use them again worry free
M/C: 5/3

CS/Q: Sigh.
GTKY: Hm, I think it's the pair of Keds an old friend gave me for Christmas in high school (so 8ish years ago?). I've never worn them. She hand painted them all Harry Potter related because I adore the series. Can't wear 'em, can't get rid of 'em.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? OMG. I think I still have them stashed away somewhere.. a pair of beautiful, soft leather higheel boots, soft like silk.. from a period of my life when I was a much much more impulse-based shoeshopper. Bought them and realized at hom,e that they are just a bit too small. I guess I only wore them once.. :P Since then, I tried to sell them, never managed, tried to give them away for friends - noone had the right footsize. Maybe I gave them away for charity the last time we moved, but not sure..

WAYDTGKU: I am temping and was so excited that it actually worked this last cycle! I saw a clear biphastic chart and sure enough, it dipped right before AF arrived. Obviously I wish she had not arrived, but I still think it is cool that it worked! I am also using ovulation sticks... CBD advanced and cheapies once I get the flashing smiley.
R/R: RAVE: I am excited I had a really normal cycle this go around (finally) and hoping things keep normalizing! I've never been happy to have a period before lol. RANT: What is with the weather? Yesterday was gorgeous here in Ohio, but next weekend looks cold and gross. Consistency please!
CS/Q: Try as I might, I still cannot figure out what CS/Q stands for... something to do with temperatures and charting?
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I hate shoes. I'm vegan, so I don't wear leather... I buy cheap shoes and wear them until they fall apart (usually 6-9 months). I do buy nice running shoes though and when they are no longer in good condition for running, I retire them for walking... so those are probably my oldest. Two years? I'm not counting heels because I never wear the ones I have ... Some of those are ten years old though!
@DeriveMyPi - I definitely recommend giving Stitch Fix a shot. $20 isn't too much of a risk in my book (but I can't speak for everyone). I will say you get out of it what you put into it though. I have 3 Pinterest board associated with it. An inspiration board with pictures of outfits/shoes/accessories that I like with comments about what I like, what I don't, what I have, and what I need. A current wardrobe board so they can see what I'm working with and avoid duplicates. And a board of me in what they send so I can give explicit feedback and they can see what they're working with. Also, when you request a box, you can give a note for your stylist. I always give them ideas of the kinds of items I definitely want and jumping off points for other items (e.g., light wash petite skinny jeans, a green jacket like what I pinned, and a flat shoe). I bought everything from my first box, so I say it's working for me! lol

@Everycol0r GL with your follie scan! @Rejufsovelem fertile CM usually happens leading up to and during O then dries up post O. Some women will get fertile CM only during O and others will still get it post O. So fertile CM can help ID your fertile time but does not pinpoint O. Also CM can change each cycle so one cycle you might get it for days and others you might get it once. @vintageandrea90 its hard not to drive yourself crazy but just try to trust the monitored process and the trigger shot.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Yikes, I have a feeling I probably still have some from high school. For someone not super into shoes I have a bad tendency to hoard them! The oldest ones I still actually wear are about five years old.
@LoveInDC I love & hate stitch fix. I wish there wasn't the $20 styling fee each time. I've had some boxes that were great and some that I didn't like anything but felt like I had to keep something so I didn't lose out on the money. And I struggle with their sizing--
WAYDTGKU: PNV, charting. I made a maca "fudge," which was pretty decent! I also bought some brazil nuts just to feel like I was doing something.
R/R: I've had a nasty cold, so took a bunch of days off from temping/thinking about conceiving in general. Hoping to get back on the wagon, but I've sort of given up on this month already since our fertile window looks like me working four 12 hour shifts in a row and then my husband going out of town for three days. We'll do our best. DH didn't have much homework to do this weekend and I was laid up, so we played the new Zelda game for like two days straight

@Redpuma119 team resole! A coworker of mine had some really nice shoes he had resoled and they looked great!!
@LoveInDC Glad you loved your clothes! I may have to try stitch fix again and take your advice and try being more specific about what I like/want. However, the first month I used them I started about CD10 just to be safe and because my cycles weren't very regular. Now I typically start about CD 12-13 or when I first see EWCM since I've O'd on CD16 or 17 the last 4 cycles. Good luck! @georgiagirl3050 - FX you O before Thursday! @JJMNO1616 - hope the house hunting went well! @augusta108 - I love the Bachelor! WAYDTGKU: pnv, BBT, cm, hio and the usual. Got through a detailed checking with my OBGYN, everything seems ok both w DH and I, but since we are still not KU, got referred to an RE. We have an appointment for this Friday, so excited!
R/R: It's monday, didn't get enough sleep and have tons of work. Anyhow I'm just too excited for these few days to pass til the appointment.
CS/Q: none
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? OMG. I think I still have them stashed away somewhere.. a pair of beautiful, soft leather higheel boots, soft like silk.. from a period of my life when I was a much much more impulse-based shoeshopper. Bought them and realized at hom,e that they are just a bit too small. I guess I only wore them once.. :P Since then, I tried to sell them, never managed, tried to give them away for friends - noone had the right footsize. Maybe I gave them away for charity the last time we moved, but not sure..

WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT (started today!)
R/R: I'm still trying to get the hang of my cycles and understand them. They seem to be all over the place, and now this cycle I've had spotting on CD 18, which is new. Hence the BBT
CS/Q: None considering I only have one temp inputted
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I would probably say close to 5 years old? It's a pair of Calculus TOMS that were my first everrrr
@Redpuma119 Your boots sound like heaven. I grabbed a pair two years ago when we were in Nashville, and I have never worn them! I hope you can get the sole fixed.
@cdnrunning FX you O soon.
@LoveInDC Your HP shoes sound amazing, even though I'm not a die hard fan. And I may have to look into this Stitch-Fix thing. My wardrobe is becoming way to much LLR.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Jeez I dunno, I think I still have a pair of doc martins I wore in high school. I tried to wear them again a few years ago and my calves cramped from basically wearing bricks on my feet.

R/R: It's Monday... I have a ton of work to do that I am avoiding. It's going to be a long day before I get to go home. I also have a chiropractor appt today (I sprained my neck a month ago) and finally hitting the gym after a few weeks off! I am also really anxious about an interview on Thursday... They are flying me to Denver for an interview and to "meet the team" for lunch. Hoping it's pretty much a done deal but don't want to get my hopes too high!
CS/Q:
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I am pretty sure I still have a couple pairs from early college so I am going with 10ish yrs. I used to buy a ton of shoes and now I hardly ever buy new shoes... Now I want to go shopping.
@LoveInDC I love stitch fix! I haven't done it in awhile, but I have a lot of great clothes from it!!

Two years? I'm not counting heels because I never wear the ones I have

R/R: Our weather has been so up and down lately. In the 60s one day and snow the next. I'm just ready for spring already.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Hmm..I've done a few closet cleanouts over the last couple years, so I don't think I have any really old ones anymore, maybe 4-5 years? However, I do have an old Esprit sweatshirt from jr. high, so maybe '93ish?? That is my oldest clothing item. DH begs me to get rid of it regularly, but I just can't!

CS/Q:
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I replace most shoes every 1-2 years, but I have some fun "going out" heels that I wear less and less that I've had since Freshman year, so 9 years-ish. I guess it's probably time to clean out my closet.

i tend to buy cheap, poor quality shoes that only last me a year or so. I have a few pairs of heels in my closet that are maybe 4 years old? I closet purge every few months.

CS/Q: AF has finally flown the coop, I know I’m a few days out from starting to use OPK’s. This will be my first cycle using them. I start on day 10, is that correct? Re: Preseed use, is there any additional benefit to using it if you make a decent amount of EWCM?
GTKY: Oh god, probably 10 years. A pair of heels I almost never wear (clearly!).
@Redpuma119 another vote for re-soling those boots (if possible!)
@LoveinDC what a great DH you have! Mine likes me in nice clothes, but thinks they just magically appear in my closet without paying for them.

CS/Q: So I thought I was in FW, as the past few days I've either had wet CM or EWCM... but today my temps did not rise and my CM is now creamy. I've had one cycle where it took a few days after O for my temps to rise, so FX it is that and not another anovulatory cycle...

CS/Q: nothing today
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
depends on which closet... I have a pair of red cowboy boots that I wore when I was about 8 years old that I'm saving for my daughter, so those are 27 years old (holy crap). in my closet, the oldest ones are from college I think, but that's still about 14 years ago. I'm practically a hoarder.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I don't even know... at least 10 years? I had a closet purge before moving this past Oct so I probably had some shoes dating back to HS then but idk if there are any that old still hiding in my closet.
Kinda have to post and go today but GL to those of you with upcoming appts! FX everyone O's soon lol

R/R: H's SA came back normal. My HSG came back normal. It's comforting but infuriatingly frustrating that they can't find something *wrong* with us at this point. I'm concerned about LPD but none of my doctors have been so I'm trying not to fret about it. Even if that's a contributing factor you'd think we would have hit *something* at this point.
CS/Q: Nah.
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? That's a great question. I would guess at least 7 years for several pairs. I have one pair in particular that I think may be closer to 10 but I'm not really sure.

CS/Q: Nope, still waiting for AF to leave.
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? Yikes, I have a feeling I probably still have some from high school. For someone not super into shoes I have a bad tendency to hoard them! The oldest ones I still actually wear are about five years old.
@Everycol0r I hope it went well today!
@Dilynne 8 inch heels?? Wow!! I'm impressed!!
CD: 9
CS/Q: my chart is a mess. I either didn't temp at all or logged my fevers.
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I have a few pairs of vintage shoes, which could be, like, 40 years old or more.

@Redpuma119 team resole! A coworker of mine had some really nice shoes he had resoled and they looked great!!
@Everycol0r hope your scan went well!
@mrsmiller8588 - good luck at your interview!
@CandyApple2012 - hope you had a nice dinner with your mom!
@Rejufsovelem - I usually get about 3-4 days of EWCM before O but I know everyone is different
@KatieEl - I think the day you start OPKs is based upon how long your cycle typically is. However, the first month I used them I started about CD10 just to be safe and because my cycles weren't very regular. Now I typically start about CD 12-13 or when I first see EWCM since I've O'd on CD16 or 17 the last 4 cycles. Good luck!
@georgiagirl3050 - FX you O before Thursday!
@JJMNO1616 - hope the house hunting went well!
@augusta108 - I love the Bachelor! My H claims he doesn't like it, but always will comment on it/ask questions why I watch it while he's in the room so I secretly think he does.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, pom juice. Going to start OPKs & HIO this week
R/R: Rave - AF seems to finally be gone! Usually it's only 5 days, but I've had spotting the last 3 days, not sure why. Also, my H texted me to tell me the soup I made yesterday was freaking amazing! I'm always nervous to try new recipes because he can be picky, so it made my day that he ate and liked it without me even asking!
CS/Q:
GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? I just got rid of a lot of shoes, but I have one pair of hideous clogs from about 12 years ago. I keep them because I've used them for Halloween costumes on more than 1 occasion.
@JJMNO1616 Good luck! Is there area you're shopping in super competitive?
@dragonette505 FX for a "not" long ass cycle!
@Rejufsovelem I get EWCM roughly 4-5 days leading up to O
@LoveInDC I think I need to hire you to create my Pinterest board before I try stitchfix
@EmilyLove25 Welcome!! Temping is great, it really provides so much insight into our cycles
@DeriveMyPi I think I'm in the same boat, cycles are a bit wonky. FX they "normalize" soon.
