GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet? OMG. I think I still have them stashed away somewhere.. a pair of beautiful, soft leather higheel boots, soft like silk.. from a period of my life when I was a much much more impulse-based shoeshopper. Bought them and realized at hom,e that they are just a bit too small. I guess I only wore them once.. :P Since then, I tried to sell them, never managed, tried to give them away for friends - noone had the right footsize. Maybe I gave them away for charity the last time we moved, but not sure.. :)

I am temping and was so excited that it actually worked this last cycle! I saw a clear biphastic chart and sure enough, it dipped right before AF arrived. Obviously I wish she had not arrived, but I still think it is cool that it worked! I am also using ovulation sticks... CBD advanced and cheapies once I get the flashing smiley.

    R/R:
RAVE: I am excited I had a really normal cycle this go around (finally) and hoping things keep normalizing! I've never been happy to have a period before lol. RANT: What is with the weather? Yesterday was gorgeous here in Ohio, but next weekend looks cold and gross. Consistency please!

    CS/Q:
Try as I might, I still cannot figure out what CS/Q stands for... something to do with temperatures and charting?

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
I hate shoes. I'm vegan, so I don't wear leather... I buy cheap shoes and wear them until they fall apart (usually 6-9 months). I do buy nice running shoes though and when they are no longer in good condition for running, I retire them for walking... so those are probably my oldest. Two years? I'm not counting heels because I never wear the ones I have :/ ... Some of those are ten years old though!

  • @DeriveMyPi - I definitely recommend giving Stitch Fix a shot. $20 isn't too much of a risk in my book (but I can't speak for everyone). I will say you get out of it what you put into it though. I have 3 Pinterest board associated with it. An inspiration board with pictures of outfits/shoes/accessories that I like with comments about what I like, what I don't, what I have, and what I need. A current wardrobe board so they can see what I'm working with and avoid duplicates. And a board of me in what they send so I can give explicit feedback and they can see what they're working with. Also, when you request a box, you can give a note for your stylist. I always give them ideas of the kinds of items I definitely want and jumping off points for other items (e.g., light wash petite skinny jeans, a green jacket like what I pinned, and a flat shoe). I bought everything from my first box, so I say it's working for me! lol

Hmm..I've done a few closet cleanouts over the last couple years, so I don't think I have any really old ones anymore, maybe 4-5 years? However, I do have an old Esprit sweatshirt from jr. high, so maybe '93ish?? That is my oldest clothing item. DH begs me to get rid of it regularly, but I just can't! :D

@Everycol0r GL with your follie scan!
@Rejufsovelem fertile CM usually happens leading up to and during O then dries up post O. Some women will get fertile CM only during O and others will still get it post O. So fertile CM can help ID your fertile time but does not pinpoint O. Also CM can change each cycle so one cycle you might get it for days and others you might get it once.
@vintageandrea90 its hard not to drive yourself crazy but just try to trust the monitored process and the trigger shot.

GTKY: How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
this makes me feel super old but I have Doc Martens in my closet that have to be pushing 20 years old  :#  I just can't bring myself to get rid of them even though I should.  Also shoes I bought before my wedding that I would up wearing for my wedding that are about 10 years old.

@Redpuma119 team resole!  A coworker of mine had some really nice shoes he had resoled and they looked great!!

  • @WildMagelet I'm sorry to hear you didn't get any answers. That's super frustrating when you can't put together a game plan because there's nothing to address
@JJMNO1616 Good luck! Is there area you're shopping in super competitive?
@dragonette505 FX for a "not" long ass cycle!
@Rejufsovelem I get EWCM roughly 4-5 days leading up to O
@LoveInDC I think I need to hire you to create my Pinterest board before I try stitchfix
@EmilyLove25 Welcome!! Temping is great, it really provides so much insight into our cycles
@DeriveMyPi I think I'm in the same boat, cycles are a bit wonky. FX they "normalize" soon.
