WAYDTGKU: all the things minus bbt

R/R: it's finally my day off and I have so much crap to get done, but I really wanna go back to sleep since I haven't been sleeping even though I know I'll never do anything then. On another note, Since my RE appt for my midcycle scan is Sunday and we have to drive 2.5 hours into the city Im hoping we can just make a day of it and find something to do there.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: I can't wait to get my vegetable and flower gardens going and for my house to look pretty again. We have so much outside work to get done with redoing the fencing for our chicken coop and residing the house and whatnot I need it to not go by so fast this year.
    NTNP since 2012

  • @lulu1180 March 19th. Right around the corner. It's been a few years since I've done a half and I'm really looking forward to it.
@zwink1 I love festivals!!! We have some pretty decent ones here in Dallas. I especially like the margarita festival lol
@LoveInDC it's amazing how therapeutic sunshine is, right?
  • @lulu1180 Gotta love Cleveland weather!
@cdnrunning I'm totally jealous that you can run outside right now! It's so much nicer than the treadmill!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1 NTNP

    CD: 12

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNVs, CM, Vitex

R/R: Yesterday was super busy, so I'm very glad it's Friday!

CS/Q: This one might be a bit TMI, so I'm sorry....when is it "safe" to check your CM after BD? Like, if you BD at night, can you check in the morning, or is that too soon? Thank you in advance!

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner? SPRING BREAK!! Spring break starts in three weeks and one day, and I could not be more excited about it. I was at school for 10 hours yesterday, and then went home and worked for another 2. I also had a parent show up unannounced for a conference in the middle on the day yesterday (you know...when I should be teaching), and she yelled at me for not calling her to let her know that the flu has been going around, so that might have something to do with my current excitement over spring break.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner? During nice and warm weather a few of the ladies from the office and I will do daily walks during lunch. It's probably my favorite thing about work while it's nice out.

    WAYDTGKU: charting

R/R: CD20 has been my usual O day, but I dont think H and I are going to be able to find time to BD today. So I'm kind of hoping I O'd earlier this week when we had decent timing. Temping really would have solved this issue

CS/Q: Notta but I keep looking back at my past charts for the months I got pregnant with my kids and admiring how obsessive I was about charting EVERYTHING. I wish I was that me again lol

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner? Starting to plant all the vegetable garden seeds. We expanded the size of our garden this year and are really hoping to grow the majority of our vegetables so we don't have to buy anything other than fruit. We did well last year but our garden was too small and a lot didn't have the space it needed.

  • @cdnrunning when you say insert thingy do you mean the charcoal filter?  Yes, that needs to be changed but you also have to wash the water reservoir. There's also a solution they have that you put in the reservoir and you "make coffee" until it's all the way flushed thru.  Then you have to do so many flushes of water too.  It's not hard it's just a pain in the ass because you certainly don't wait to be tasting any of that cleaning solution.
Also, awesome job running.  I just can't wrap my head around being able to run for 1.5 hours.  I would die.

@BertieMeetsGertie we have to do work on our deck too.  I'm dreading it.  I really just want to hire someone to revamp it.

  • Happy Friday Ladies!

    Month/Cycle: 1

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: ED, just started taking PNV, stopped caffeine

R/R: I'm just so glad its Friday

CS/Q: not really, saw the Dr yesterday, one for a check up, and two cause I needed some answers.  I spot almost always around this time and of course I did yesterday right before my appt.  It was no problem, but I found out why I spot, she says its just left over AF (sorry TMI), but I just wanted to share cause it was worry some after a while.

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner? We are going on a cruise at the end of April, so there's that.  I guess I'd say the warm weather but being in CO, its all a lie, it'll be here in June, maybe.
  • @JJMNO1616 ooohhh, do tell me what the dirty chai is, please!

@MrsMiller8588 sweet! Where are you going in Hawaii?

    Happy Friday to everyone!

    Month/Cycle:  5/6  4TTCAL

    CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: just waiting for cross hairs

    R/R:

Rave: So temped jumped a lot this morning. So I feel pretty confident that O was yesterday, rather than CD 9...even though my chart looks funky. But based on OPKs, that lines up. Oh and we managed to HIO one more time, even though I am pretty sure I had already O'd by the evening, but didn't hurt.

Rant: I am still so annoyed that I didn't have any fertile CM this cycle during HIO. Yesterday, I had a decent amount of EWCM in the morning, but it was all dried up by the night time. So two HIO's this cycle were likely pointless. We did use pre-seed for HIO on -1...so maybe that helped. Who knows. I feel out already because of the lack of CM.

    CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner?

Longer days!!!!! I get depressed when it get dark right around 5:00pm. I usually work from 7:30-6:30pm. So there are days during the winter where I don't see much natural sunlight...so I am excited for longer days.

shortstack930 oh, now I am craving fo yo!

haylsbayls yay for solid smiley. You are HIO ED? That's ambitious!!

kaitlink33 Eek...sounds like a lot going on, but hopefully you can enjoy some of your day off.

@zwink1 Still FX for an earlier O than usual!

@lulu1180: Hey cycle day buddy! Boo on the weather...hopefully it stops acting crazy soon.

R/R: Rant: Snow flurries; ugh. Rave: Was able to make a loan to a friend today, and I feel really good about helping her out.

CS/Q: Nope. I’m sure I’m not the only one having such a hard time waiting to actually get to my fertility window.  Feels like I’m just twiddling my thumbs over here.

GTKY: Consistently warmer weather and not being stuck inside the house with my toddlers!

@cdnrunning a margarita festival sounds amazing!

  • @BertieMeetsGertie We are going to Kauai! I am really looking forward to it! We love to travel and I have never been to Hawaii! We are going with my sister and BIL so it should be fun! Have you been to any of the islands before?

@kaitlink33 @Karrotelle @shortstack930 We are going to try a vegetable garden this year! I've never had success so any tips are appreciated! We live in a rural area and I always seem to loose my garden to the deer, birds, or rabbits!

R/R: I think that yesterday was O. We went to that beer tasting/music thing at the museum last night though so this morning's temperature is not to be trusted. If yesterday was the day, I'm fairly happy with how our timing worked out. And now I already feel myself getting hopeful.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah reaction no what stop
In other stupidly hopeful news, our obnoxious neighbor's house is still pending so I think this time the sale will go through. Every time I get a new neighbor I get hopeful that it's going to be a cool family that we'll actually be friends with. The only fair hope is that we're not going from the frying pan into the fire.

    CS/Q: Nope.

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner? More hours of daylight and eating outside!

@lulu1180 Ha! Same. I hate when it's dark on both ends of the work day. I can't even do any dang yard work (including picking up after the dog) on weekdays when it's like that. And everything feels creepy. Going to the grocery store even feels creepy and like you're doing it at the middle of the night...at 5:30pm.

@kaitlink33 I'm with you on hoping it doesn't go to fast. We've got a lot of yard work to do since we'll probably need to replace our fence soon so that means that we need to remove all of the vegetation that is going to be in the way or is up on the fence now and there is a LOT. Our back fence backs to forest.

@Cricket648 Has she ever heard of uh, I dunno, flu season?

@BertieMeetsGertie I have Maui recommendations if you're looking for any! :)

@MrsMiller8588 I also have Kauai recommendations if you're looking for any. :)

  • @BertieMeetsGertie Aww thanks for thinking of me. I went. DF got his done. Looked easy peasy. The lady was super sweet. I ended up walking out in tears without having it done. I really don't know what to do. I know it's only 15 seconds of my life, people get it done everyday, it doesn't really hurt but I just cannot bring myself to do it. This phobia is getting worse. R/R: rave: it is Friday!!!

CS/Q: last month I got a OPK smiley face on a Sunday and felt cramping where my left ovary would be that following week.  It happened a few times.  Would the cramping/pinching have been ovulation or just something that happens after ovulation?  Thanks :-)

GTKY: What is the one thing that you're looking forward to with spring around the corner?  Like many have said, warm weather and longer days!!  20 degrees and snow in March isn't my jam :-)
    You had one job:

  • @dragonfly87 Thanks for the FX. I was actually hoping O would hold off at least until H got back on Sunday... It's not looking good given the piles of ewcm that showed up today.

@FLAshley I'm sorry you had such a rough time with the bw. Hugs.
  • Hi everyone. Not sure if some of you remember me. I was actively posting my first 2 months TTC, but have been just lurking pretty much every day since.  @lulu1180 - you and I started TTC at the same time so I've been following your posts the whole time : )

Anyway-just decided to start posting again since I'm starting fertility testing next week and thought it might be good to have someone to talk to.

    CS/Q: nothing

GTKY: I'm with @caitlink33 I can't wait to garden. We bought a new house in October so we haven't experienced it with warm weather yet! This will be my first time ever to try gardening and landscaping.
  • @JennyV56 I saw your sn and was like ...? Yes, I remember you. Hope your testing goes well.
@FLAshley I hope you get a resolution soon.
@Kiki75 I have high hopes for you!!

@purplg8r I'm running the rock and roll half in Dallas in March......while I sit here drinking red wine and eating mini eggs :)
@JJMNO1616 So then you're enjoying this "winter" too!!
@JennyV56 @caitlink33 I'd love to start gardening this year but I'm not even sure where to start. Like what would be considered good placement of the garden? Should it be elevated because of the dogs? Are there certain veggies I should start with that I can't eff up?
