My lower abdominal area has been super achy...all the way across and at the sides for a few days now. I'm thinking it's my uterus on the move again (I'm truly showing now) but makes me worry a bit. My back has been giving me some trouble too on both sides...

I haven't had itchy boobs though. I love Body Shop's Body Butter primarily for itchy dry winter skin, but it's kept my growing parts quite supple. Definitely recommend.
Starting this past weekend I can't drink enough water! It's like I can't quench my thirst! I was like this with DD. I'm drinking well over 100 oz each day. I woke with a painfully full bladder.
Heartburn kicked in this weekend too. It started at 36ish weeks with DS and 25ish weeks with DD. Bummed it started so early this time. If anyone else struggles I used a spoonful of Baking Soda in a shot of water. It neutralizes the acid in about a minute. You will burp fire and it will be gone!
Also, I have a metallic almost bloody taste in my mouth every so often. This is new this time around.
I'm hungry all the time. I feel like I'm snacking continuously to avoid becoming hangry. The last couple of nights I've had trouble sleeping/getting comfortable. Some leg cramping.

I've cramped this whole time, but the last week (13 weeks to 14weeks) the cramps have greatly increased after a slight reprieve. It really is kinda concerning but I guess it just means everything is expanding as it should. Slightly worried I won't be able to tell the difference regular cramps and "you're over doing it" cramps for when I'm pushing myself too hard.

@PinkPrincessPiper my ob told me that I should take Zantac twice a day, I still am throwing up two-three times a day. I hope yours gets better soon!
anyone else dealing with extreme fatigue? I work 60-70 hours a week and have twins who are 15 months, so I can't tell if it's from being pregnant or just my everyday life. Just so sleepy...
@JWatt5 and @Mango517 I am with you on the stretching/cramping/aching, especially at night. I am worried about knowing when I am overdoing it as well. Last night I felt the karate kicks to go with the stretching so I am telling myself there is just a really big boy in there and my body is like wtf
also, I am so constipated. I am eating so much fiber and not much is moving so I think I need more water. I'm getting really bad gas pains as well occasionally. All of this contributes to just constant abdominal discomfort. My DH thinks the baby is just taking all the food, but judging by the food baby sitting on top of the real baby I think there is some leftover.
@donehue - I'm there with you as well with the constipation. It's really contributing to my abdominal pain as well. It just bought a stool softener to try to help things out after I went about 4 days without a bowel movement and even then, I was disappointed haha. I'm also going to try changing my prenatals - I went back to a hard pill instead of a gel capsule when I added additional Omega and I think that contributed to things.
I slept on my left side last night and woke up with my hip radiating pain...I had to get up, walk it out and then find a new way to lay down. Oddly I've automatically started sleeping on my left side without trying but the side sleeping is causing me to wake up in discomfort. Hoping this is just another funny phase like at 12 weeks I had but STM - can you give any advice with that?

I've had this too the last few days. I'm assuming either I overdid it over the last week (Mardi Gras - lots of walking and standing for long periods of time), or it's just my uterus expanding.
@PinkPrincessPiper Have you tried unisome sleep tabs? I take 2 before bed. I didn't throw up my lat pregnancy but could hardly function because of nausea. It is classified as safer drug for pregnancy so if you haven't tried it you may want to start there. But if you have take the zofran morning sickness is no joke.
@SarahBethBR I have restless legs in the evenings too. I used to have them all the time, but I think they were connected to thyroid problems for me. I just started a higher dose of levothyroxine this week so I'm hoping that they get better. All the body pillows help me in bed!
Anyone else having tooth/gum pain? I heard that was a risk for pregnant women. I'm due for a 6 month cleaning anyway but have been worried to go because my gag reflex is overly sensitive.
@DeansGirl14 I have experienced the gum and teeth pain. I also clench my jaw a lot so it's been not so fun lately. This is also another fun thing I am dealing with haha!
Also I am having terrible RLP the last couple days. It feels like my stomach is huge! It wakes me up at night feeling the pain in my lower groin area and up under my ribs. Anyone else having it this bad? I'm 18 weeks +1 day.
I had a pretty nasty GERD flare-up last week from drinking too much OJ and eating too many raw peppers (my guilty pleasure). I also woke up one morning and when I tried to stand, I kept falling down. My left leg was completely numb. Not tingly... just...jello. I crawled to my daughter's room and it was fine by that point. But super un-nerving.
The exhaustion is unreal at this point. I'm so tired by the time I get home from work, I have zero energy for anything else. I'm now 17+3 so hopefully soon that second tri energy will kick in?
Also... huge belly. I currently look like I did at around 24 or 25 weeks with my second.

@DoulaTog13 I hope the exhaustion lessens for you because for me it hasn't yet! I'm at 18 weeks! I sometimes can feel the baby move and then it'll be a couple days before I can feel it again, its so bizarre. Kind of makes me worry then i'll feel it again

Prayers please.... TMI....last night when I wiped, there was a long stringy piece of discharge, tinged with red and pink.... I can only imagine it was part of my mucus plug. I have an appt with my OB this afternoon to check it all out. I've been a nervous wreck this entire pregnancy, and was finally starting to feel more confident that all was ok, before this happened. Dr. Google says that it might be ok, or it could be a sign of going into early labor. Please cross your fingers that everything is going to be alright!
@kristenk727 Fingers crossed hard for you.. I've read that your mucus plug regenerates throughout the whole pregnancy, so I don't think losing a small piece is a big deal. Of course your OB will be able to tell you, but try not to worry!!
Thinking of you! I bet it's fine. I have had a ton of mucus discharge both this pregnancy and last. And I still occasionally get pink tinge especially after sex.
@morgy_bee, thanks for the heartburn idea - I've maxed out on Tums, my Dr doesn't want me taking more and Maalox doesn't seem to cut the acid for me. I'm gonna have to try this. I'm only at 17 weeks today and not looking forward to this burning for the whole rest of the time.
Ugh- I have an umbilical hernia and it sucks. I can't stand anything rubbing on my belly button...and I can't wear belly shirts and low rise pants to work

Did you recently have sex or an internal exam? That can cause spotting. The cervix is so vascular during pregnancy and it bleeds super easy. Thick stringy discharge (and copious amounts of it) are also very common through the pregnancy and it increases in the second trimester. Keep us updated.

Thanks everyone! The doctor did an internal check and an ultrasound and saw nothing concerning. My cervix is long and closed, the placenta isn't near the cervix, and baby looks great. She thought maybe the discharge was caused by sex or straining during a bowel movement. Who knows! I'm glad I went and got some peace of mind.... hoping this doesn't happen again! I appreciate the prayers from you ladies!

Has anyone else had back pain in their mid/upper back? I'm not sure if it's a pregnancy thing, or just a fun new trick my body has come up with. I know low back pain is common during pregnancy, but upper back? The best way I can explain is that it's an ache similar to when you move the wrong way. It never lasts long, but it's happened a few times and has only done it since I got pregnant.
This might be tmi, but has anyone else notice an increase in body odor(underarms, boob sweat etc)? Before getting pregnant, if I wasn't very active during the day, I didn't really need deodorant, and now it is a need. Everyday. And even between boobs.please tell me it isn't just me.
Alright, I have an interesting new symptom. If you're squeamish, stop reading. TL/DR apparently it's true that your blood has a harder time clotting when you're pregnant.
I got a blood blister (yuck!) on my chest (ugh). It's tiny but popped two days ago and wouldn't stop gushing blood. So much blood from such a tiny spot. After soaking tissues and paper towels for two hours I made my way to my neighborhood urgent care. They couldn't stem the tide either so they cauterized it. If you've ever had a mole removed you know what this is like. So now I have a very unattractive healing black mark on my chest. YUCK.
Moral of the story- avoid anything that could result in you shedding blood as you may not stop!!
