Re: What my pregnant self is eating 2/23

  • @daniellelynette We only had it once in grade school otherwise I wouldn't have ever known lol and I went to Catholic school, too!
Hey fellow catholic schooler! I left after 5th grade when I started getting bullied a lot, but I went from preschool-5th. I only ever had one nun for a teacher. People laugh when I say I had a nun teach me a religion class!

LOL the only nun I had taught computer class! The secretary, VP, and principal were nuns too but they didn't teach anything.
  • I had a nun as a teacher in art school. She was honestly the weirdest teacher I've ever had, and it had nothing to do with how often she accidentally dipped her head covering in paint.

  • Is anyone else stressing out about not eating healthy enough? My Dr said not to worry too much... to eat what I can manage in the first trimester. Still, I feel terrible that vegetables make me gag. I'm eating salads every time I feel like I can stomach it, but overall don't feel like I'm doing very good for this baby...

  • @HollyGolightly09 definitely! I am on a steady diet of cereal bars and saltine crackers. I'm trying to squeeze in fruit smoothies here and there. The tartness helps curb the nausea. You will be able to eat normal food later on. Trust your doctor, eat what you can now. Baby is so small that they will take all of the good nutrients first. Plus, vitamins! Try not to stress about it too much, just eat what you can and the rest will come later.

  • @HollyGolightly09 don't stress! You'll get back to eating more normal foods a little later. Although I looooove salads and when I'm pregnant, lettuce tastes like dirt to me. So no salads when I'm pregnant! I was sick for a good 6 months with my last pregnancy, and my eating was pretty sketchy, but my son is a very healthy boy! Eat what you can manage and relax!
I just ate a small bag of famous Amos chocolate chip cookies while taking a bath. I'm not even sorry that I bathed with cookie crumbs, it sounded good and now I'm not nauseous hungry.
