I have an irrational fear of fish, like in the ocean. I won't go into a lake or stream if I can't see the bottom because a fish might touch me. Living in Hawaii helped though! Am I normal?
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
I don't like when I am mobile bumping and see all of the yellow highlighted unread posts. I'll click on it without reading sometimes to just clean up the way the page looks. Am I normal?
@itsfine is the urge stronger during pregnancy? During my first pregnancy they told me I have a form of pica because my body is craving iron.. mine is only scents (all the ones you described) I don't want to eat them. I love all those when I'm not pregnant too, but I like seek them out when I'm pregnant.
YES!!! It's so so bad. I don't want to eat them but I have to smell them all day long. We have this storage closet at work that smells very musty and I find myself purposely going to the closet every two hours and just hanging out. I read about pica. I have an appointment on Monday and I was going to mention it to my doctor. I read that it can be a sign of anemia.
@meilay my sister is the exact same way!! Not sure if it's "normal" or not but... I did buy her little kids divider plates for Christmas one year to make fun of her
I won't go #2 if I think someone is in the connecting room. (Ex: master bathroom, while DH is in bed, or bathroom directly off of the living room)... I will go to the furthest restroom from wherever they are. Am I normal? Lol
Beginning with this pregnancy, I've started to get cold easily, if I get really cold I'll get a headache that feels like it's starting in my nose. Am I normal?
I am not happy with any of the windshield wiper speeds so I manually control them 90% of the time. Am I normal?
Can I just say that the fact that I got 19 likes on this and no one telling me I am a crazy control freak is kind of shocking me? I thought I was a complete weirdo on this!

I HAVE to sleep on the side furthest away from the door of the room.
My DH and I just moved last year, and our first night in the new house.. he was like "Why are you on my side?" I said "Your side?? I always sleep furthest from the door." Turns out, how our bed was set up in the new house flipped our sides/the side furthest away from the door. It had never even occurred to me, until I talked to my sister, and she's the SAME way. I started thinking... vacation, hotels, yep.. I always sleep furthest from the door. You know, in case a killer comes in to murder us... DH gets it first. Haha.

My DH has a thing about sleeping closest to the door... "In case the ninjas come in the middle of the night" So he took over my side when he moved in because who could argue with that!
Highly monitored internet and no cell service in the office, so I'm postin' and ghostin' while I'm workin'

YES.
@neludelu I'm the same way with storms and bad weather! I get so excited and then really disappointed when they miss us, which they usually do. We had ONE tornado warning last year. ONE. We all went to the basement, only to later discover that it was miles and miles away and no one ever figured out why our area was actually included in the warning.
I love bad weather like LOVEEEE storms. I get absolutely giddy when the possibility of bad weather arises.
I also love hospitals but couldn't work in the medical field because I am too emotional and get grossed out too easily.
I have an irrational fear of thunderstorms! I was babysitting last night during a bad one and the dog was freaking out and the 2 year old was screaming and it was just the worst.
I still sleep with my blanket/blankie! Am I normal?
I don't anymore but I slept with multiple stuffed animals all through college and until I got married. Also displayed them on the bed when it was made....
@kat0607 My blanket is actually a quilt my grandmother made... so it doesn't look super suspect. It's gone with me through college and marriage. My sister's husband has refused to let her sleep with her blanket since they got married (she slept with it every night), and she literally has it in a box under their bed. Hers is from her crib as a child, and looks very baby-ish. However, I told my sister, that would have been a deal breaker for me.
See my wooby is really kind of gross. It's an old pillow that has like zero stuffing anymore, my husband refers to it as the 'asbestos pillow'. It has fingernail polish, blood (from when I got my teeth out as a kid), and other mysterious stains. I've washed it, so it's clean, but I can't part with it. It's been with me since childhood, I took it to Iraq, to the birth of my children, etc.
My youngest just threw up all over it and DH was like 'yes, finally, it's gone', but it survived the washer/dryer much to his dismay.
@Stankonia2014 "asbestos pillow" LOL i am cracking up!! that is totally something my DH would say. I wouldn't be able to part with it either, given everything you've been through with it!
@neludelu, I LOVE storms! If I didn't have kids, I'd totally be a storm chaser. I'm totally fascinated.
Same! I've actually been tornado chasing (we saw 3). It was amazing! I should add that it was with actual tornado chasers, I didn't go off on my own. ha.
I still have my blankie from when I was a baby, but I don't sleep with it any more. I had always intended to give it up when I got married, and I did. I miss it though!

My cousin has a pillow like this. I'm so grossed out by it, but lucky for her her dh doesn't mind. Lol
I'm like @alm52386 and have an irrational fear of storms. It used to be really bad and has gotten better since we bought a house with a finished basement. I got scared for the first time in awhile during a storm last night, but baby enjoyed it and somersaulted around and around for a while which was a little comforting.

@EmeraldNC I'm the opposite.... I have to sleep closest to the wall! Also... I have to sleep on my left side facing outside of the bed.
I'm team no socks, but I have to wear pants and a t-shirts and I can't sleep with my hair down.
