The 4 different billing departments I have had to call this morning. The test center claims my Dr. office is handling billing on a test, my Dr claims the test center is, my insurance claims they aren't, test center says it counts towards deductible, Dr office not so sure. Seriously people? this isn't new to you. How do you not know who/where I am being billed from and if it goes towards deductible? Everyone is a TW because they keep telling me to talk to the other office and no one will talk to each other!
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
My tw is stupid and I known it's stupid it bothers me at all but.. there is this lady on the mom page here and she ALWAYS has to put her two cents into everything. Someone asked how accurate our doc was at guessing the sex at 12 weeks and the annoying lady has posted about 20 replies and hasn't even been to see him yet. She's appalled they do ultrasounds every appointment here (crazy unsafe) She's angry that the doctor won't give his reasoning for guessing boy or girl. She's informing everyone that she'll just be waiting until the anatomy scan (no one asked) She told the ladies that he guessed right for that they just lucky. Well it's 12 weeks and baby parts look pretty much the same. So he's right about half the time.. he made it very clear that he was just guessing for fun and not to go buy a bunch of stuff. I just want to find her house and slap her back into reality.
My TW is myself because I thought I could still wear these jeans, but the waistband is kind of cutting into my uterus. I'm having to hair elastic my pants and I'm not into it. 6 more hours until I can go home and put on stretchy pants.
I am beyond sick and tired of seeing these live feeds of this pregnant ass giraffe. Why do people care? Why are they filming this? Why aren't they reporting the REAL issues like the national disaster that is occurring with Wendy's AND Sonic. They've BOTH taken away their spicy chicken nuggets and I'm mad as hell. How is that not news but a giraffe ploping out a baby is?
@LSP87 WHAT?!?!? Please say it isn't so. I got Wendy's spicy chicken nugs the other night and they gave me regular and I thought it was just user error.

Girl, I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news..but multiple news outlets have confirmed that Wendy's has indeed DISCONTINUED their spicy chicken nuggets. It's a travesty. It's a disgrace. It breaks my heart. They do still have the spicy chicken sandwiches but it just isn't the same. Sonic started phasing out their spicy popcorn chicken last year too. It is unacceptable to have the nuggets coated like a buffalo wing. I won't stand for it.
During my last pregnancy, I ugly cried (more than once) at the window of a couple of different fast food places who JUST stopped selling French toast sticks. Sonic's all-day breakfast saved me then.
Im telling y'all...I am about to enter Super Saiyan 5 if I can't find any freaking SPICY nuggets.
I could learn to make my own but that requires..effort. Should any of you ladies find any sauceless spicy nuggets of chicken please for the love of God help a sister out.
@LSP87 so help me God if they get rid of the spicy chicken sandwich that thing is my life
PREACH. I effing love Wendy's. That sandwich is amazeballs. And the heartburn is worth it. I didn't even know there were spicy nuggets or I'd have been getting them!
We dont even have a sonic anymore. The guy's other biz went bankrupt so they shut down his two sonics as part of the process. Now I have to drive to Ohio to get sonic, but I do it, and I will keep doing it.
My property manager is SUCH a TW. From the day we met when we signed the lease she's had an attitude for no reason. Whenever we talk she likes to talk down to me. I don't know if it's because we're young or what her issue is but I cannot wait to never have to deal with this wan again. Anytime I got ahold of her about something wrong in the house her response was "I'll see if the owner wants to replace it" and never got back to me. When it came time for me to give my 30 days notice I called, texted and emailed with no response. I finally went into yhe office where she told me she had received no contact from me and had no response when. I showed her the texts, calls, and emails - just that they never came through in her end.
Our lease is up tomorrow and it states that we have 24 hours to turn in the keys after the fact and she was texting me Saturday while in the process of moving "when can I expect keys". I asked about an $80 key deposit we put down and now it's non refundable. It's just called a key deposit in the lease and nowhere does it state that it's not refundable. If that's the case then why call it a deposit?
I'm expecting the worst with her and our $2000 security deposit. There are holes in the walls, wires still sticking out in places as well as rooms that are half painted so when I turn in my keys tomorrow, I'm handing her dated before and after pictures of everything. I think she's counting in us being young and inexperienced renters and I want to let her know before hand that that's not the case
Sorry for the rant, I just cannot stand this woman.
tl;dr my property manager is a see you next Tuesday.
@smallbutmighty77 I had two options for NIPT testing and when I called to check the cost of each, one of them told me I had an invalid insurance number and needed to contact my provider and get a different one. I went with their competitor even though my doctor told me the other was probably cheaper, because I did not want to deal with that billing nightmare.
My twats today are the sellers of the house we are buying. The appraisal came in under the purchase price. Not by much, but enough that I'm not willing to show up to settlement with a check for the full difference. (Edit to add, this is NOT common practice in our market)
The appraisal was completed on Friday and when do we hear back from the sellers? Tuesday at noon. And they are not willing to lower the price to the appraisal price. Even though the house has been empty and on the market since last July. Our market is not hot a one, like at all. Do they even want to sell this house?
Edit: It's been a day... And have heard nothing about our final offer.

@Nxy I used to be in one with my first bump month that we started a few months after the babies were born. I left after the election because I was treated really poorly by people I considered friends. Apparently they were talking shit about me today.
My grocery store is twatwaffle! They're going through a renovation and apparently that renovation is happening at 8:30 at night right when we chose to shop. I really wanted watermelon and right where watermelon is was completely blocked off. Seriously some people have to shop at night due to schedules!
My twat waffle for the week is one of my staff. Every time I talk about baby things at work, she has to chime in that it will be SO HARD for us to purchase anything in advance because we are team green. I can't tell you how many times I've heard her say that we need to find out so we can make our registry easier for gift-givers. What?!?!
@Nxy haha, thanks! I bowed out and really didn't expect them to still be taking about me. Someone sent me a screenshot last night and I definitely felt justified in my decision to leave.
@megaroo42 umm, how does that make it harder? If anything, you won't get the cop-out gift of gender specific baby clothes from ppl who could have just bought you what you really wanted off your registry (but were too cheap to spend the money). You have a registry for a reason!
@LSP87 thanks!! After this morning I can't wait to see what she says after she does her walk through. I dropped off the keys this morning before the office opened and she texted me twenty minutes later saying she didn't have them and she was going to charge me rent until they were turned in.
Luckily, even though I thought it was irrational and crazy, I recorded myself putting the keys in a FedEx envelope, sealing it and dropping it in the box. So after she swore they double checked the boxes at all locations, I emailed her the video and suddenly they found them.
@happylifex3 SERIOUSLY? What does this lady have against you guys?? Haha she sounds nuts. You're super smart to record all your transactions, conversations, etc.. How funny they magically found the key after you sent that video. What BS.
@szwill86 while I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here because I don't know you, that comment sounds incredibly selfish. Too cheap? If someone gets you a gift at all they aren't cheap. I don't care if they run-up to Walmart and grab some sleepers. They took the time to think about you in buying you a gift and that's not cheap. Again I'm not saying that's how you meant it but that's how it read.
I agree that saying someone needs the sex to buy a gift is silly there are lots of unisex things people can buy. There are also a lot of unisex clothing options for the cheap people..
My husband! We finished dinner and I started doing dishes, and he rinsed and put his plate and silverware in the dishwasher. I ask him to get mine, too, and he makes a big deal about "are you still using this cup, too?" "What about this spoon?" then he says "Y'know, it's nice to put things away when you're finished with them, just saying." ooooooo I could've bitten his head off. I was doing dishes for the 3rd time that day, I don't need his input on keeping a glass out for 10 hours so that I don't have to wash it after every refill of water. ALSO, also, this guy has an awesome habit of taking his coffee into the living room in the morning, and then stashing his cup next to the couch until there are 4-5 coffee mugs there... a week later. The day before, he bugged me about my socks in the living room (I like to take them off when I get home and there were 2 pairs on the floor) while in our bathroom there is constantly a MOUNTAIN of his dirty clothes because he likes to shower and change in there instead of walking next door to the bedroom. It's just little things like that that make him a total TW.
@Nxy maybe I'm just projecting my personal experience with any type of bridal/baby shower, but there are many people I know who begrudgingly participate in these things just to save face and look for as little way to participate as possible. Not saying that everyone is that way. My comment may have come off as seeming selfish without further explanation.
@szwill86 & @Nxy: I attended a baby shower last weekend, and the registry items were way out of price range. Barely anything was scooped up off of it. It's her first baby, and everything was the top-of-the-line brands, etc. etc. So since she knew and was public about the gender, I went and bought gender-specific clothing. I didn't feel like I was copping out. I felt like she should've put way more thought into peoples' budgets.
With DD, I didn't know the gender, and my MIL threw me a baby shower (and complained the whole time about how because no one knew what the baby was, I wouldn't get cute gifts). I got amazingly useful things. I kept my registry reasonable, and if people chose to buy off of there, then great! Otherwise, people bought me things they found useful with their kids, and I appreciated everything.
I'm sad that you've experienced people going to showers begrudgingly/to save face. Those people should just "have prior commitments" and not go at all IMO.
tl;dr...team green is amazing, but buying gender-specific things when the sex is known and publicized shouldn't be seen as a cop-out.
My muscles. Spent four hours chasing my son around the kids museum yesterday and today I feel like I have been beaten. I feel like I did a super intense workout.
@dinofreak UGH... I feel your pain here - that sounds just like my husband. He takes a water glass up to bed every night until his nightstand is literally full of them and there's no more place to put anything. I try to keep our bedroom neat - bed made, no clothes on the floor, etc.. and he consistently comes home every day and drops all his work clothes on the floor until there's a huge pile and/or he's out of clean clothes. Drives me nuts!! I understand after a long day he's tired and wants to relax, but the laundry basket is 5 steps away. Plus, I work too and somehow manage to find the basket.
I so appreciate the laugh about the spicy chicken. Such passion on here, ha! My entire day yesterday was my TW. Just can't even bring myself to explain. So glad it's over.
My colleague is a twat. I am doing her a huge favor because she is pursuing her PhD and has the boss' blessing to do her dissertation using data from our organization. So I collected the data and it took me effing forever.
So I send her the Excel file and she's asking me completely ridonk questions. "I need 64 responses in each category." In my head, me thinking- "There are clearly like 300 lines separated by two blocks of color- you have way more than 64 responses, easy." Now she's just asked me, "what's the time frame?" Even though I told her everyone in yellow was pre-implementation and everyone else was post-implementation. I replied "the month is in column F."
LOOK AT THE SPREADSHEET YOU'RE A PHD CANDIDATE OMG.

omg!!! What a nightmare! Good luck on the deposit. I hope y'all fight and it all works out. Why are people so awful for no reason?
