wicked thankful for a good night's sleep and feeling much better this morning. and thank you everyone for the well wishes. also thankful last night was not labor and LO has more time to cook in there.
Thankful for a good mindset (no idea how I got it) that I'm not grumpy and miserable at 4days post due date! I'm usually such a negative person: so this positivity and patience is refreshing!
Thankful for my immediate family that's been popping in to keep me and DD company, and helping with the numerous baby appointments.
And, as always, very thankful for this group that brings such joy and sanity through this journey!
I'm thankful that DH & I were able to get our taxes done this week & hopefully will be getting our refund check deposited the same time all the hospital bills start coming in, so our bank account should take less of a hit...another reason why I think March is the best month to have a baby.
I'm thankful for the generosity of our friends, family, and coworkers...yesterday DH tagged me in a Facebook post...when I went to look at it, he had posted that his coworkers threw him a little baby shower and all pitched in and bought us the stroller that was on our registry. So incredibly unexpected and appreciated. I may have teared up at work.

Thankful for yet another TT with baby still on the inside. DH is super stressed out with everything that he needs to get done for school/work/practicum before the baby gets here, and it's only going to be worse if this kid decides to show up early. Trying to stay relaxed so I can keep this kid cookin.

I coach cheerleading, and my cheerleaders/parents threw me a surprise sprinkle after practice this week. I am now stocked up on diapers and wipes!
Even though I don't have any family in the area, the people I know here are amazing and willing to help whenever. I have had so many offers to watch my DD in case I go into labour before my mom arrives.
Also my workout group (stroller strides) started a meal train for me, and so many people have signed up to bring me food once baby gets here, I will be set for a month!
Last but not least, I am thankful my new carpet has been installed in the nursery! They were so great about getting me in quickly, glad that mess is over with. Just slowly putting everything back in the room and my house is returning to normal
This was a perfect morning reflection for me! Good way to start my day.
New thankful already - DS napped long enough for me to catch this week's This is Us!
Hey! That's what I'm doing currently for naptime! #Twinning
And thanks! I think I've just been mentally prepared for the possibility of going a week overdue - since that's pretty standard. Not sure if I'll stay cheery if I make it to 41wks though... hah. + Thankful that I have midwives that are totally fine letting me go all the way to week 42! But... it's easier to be happy with that when I'm not there yet
Thankful for the beautiful weather outside today... 64 degrees in February in Rhode Island!!
My son was amazing when we took a stroll to Whole Foods this morning and we are having such a nice day together vs. how our Tuesday was.
Thankful that my heartburn has seemed to subside and that I have been sleeping like a log besides the 2:30 wake-up pee.
For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 1 Samuel 1:27 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@kjd291 I've read many stories of how some women turn total zen toward the end of pregnancy/during labor so I'm glad you are channeling that!
great response @vino831 I'll have to remember that one in case I need to use it!
I'm thankful I am almost over this yucky cold. Had the worst sore throat when I woke up Tuesday but it is mostly gone and I just have the sniffles now. My midwife also pointed out I am very lucky to not have any swelling yet given that I'm on my feet almost all day at work! Lastly I am thankful for naps! Had one yesterday and today before work and I feel slightly better.

@vino831@kjd291@ngcsugirl1112 I live in Memphis! It was fun seeing the places I pass all the time on such a popular show (although it was a very sad episode!) There was a call for extras but they definitely were not looking for super pregnant people, so I missed my chance.
@CanadianintheSouth so cool! DH and I went to Memphis a few years back for a college football bowl game...we enjoyed our time there....even got to go to the Peabody to see the ducks

Thankful that my mom is such an amazing caregiver to my son while I'm at work. I don't know what I would do without her. Plus I haven't done dishes or my son's laundry in about a month, lol. Thanks mammala!
I'm thankful for awesome hospitals! Had a tour of the birth center I'll be delivering in today and its so cool! They support all the labor techniques I asked about, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, rooming in, etc, state of the art security and prompt pain relief provision which helped ease my mind a lot I also learned what they send home with you and got to see the beautiful rooms and meet the nurses. Everyone was so kind and I feel fully prepared to have this baby! Just 4 more weeks....holy smokes!
Thankful for a positive experience on our hospital tour yesterday. All my questions were answered and I felt really comfortable with those answers. Thankful for a team of doctors- OB, MFM, hematologist, who are all working closely together to make sure baby and I are well taken care of.
i'm also kind of thankful for my NSTs. it gives me a chance to get to know at least some of the nurses and build rapport. i'm sure none of them will be on when i'm in labor haha but it still sounds good
silverbulletband & jrde50eb12 so awesome you two had such great experiences at your birth locations! Such a relief at this point - just one less thing you have to worry about
I am so thankful to still be pregnant at 36w5d! I'm so happy that we've kept my BP under semi control and I've not progressed to severe preeclampsia!
Ive lifted a little bit of the bedrest restrictions this week to get me and my house ready for baby! Washed all the bottles, minor cleaning/organization and spending extra time with DS! Even went out for dinner
I am also grateful for this group too! I'm on multiple times per day, checking on all of you and listening to your stories.
Only 2 more days of pregnancy before my induction! Excited to meet my little girl and so happy that she will be "early term"! No preemie for me this time!
Oh that had to be wonderful to get up and get a few things accomplished Lexxilou1986! And soo happy your little lady has stayed cooking to this point! Two days to go! WOOHOO!!!
@Lexxilou1986 so much happy!! Yay for getting out for dinner and for baby prep! I'm so excited for you to have your little term baby in your arms Sunday!! What a blessing
