@SawyerRichardson that's terrible! I'll be praying for your mom and your whole family. Just wanted to let you know that my Mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer right before my first pregnancy. She's been cancer free now for 10 years. I'm here if you want to talk about it and you can always send me a PM.
This isn't exactly a serious MBF, but my grandmother that I was incredibly close to passed away about 24 hours ago. Amidst all the other stuff that comes along with losing her, funeral arrangements, etc. My petty complaint here is that I have no idea what to wear. I still need to get an appropriate nursing bra and anything I wear needs to have easy boob access.

@Partyof6? I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope things fall together easily for you. Also, this might seem seem weird or inappropriate but I wanted to make sure you heard of "pmkeepsakes". You can ask the funeral director about them and they should know what it is. It's a company that will take a fingerprint and engrave it into jewellery. I was very devastated with the loss of my grandpa, but had a necklace made up and it's amazing how much that necklace has helped me. I get to keep something that I personally picked out that has his fingerprint to keep forever. If you are interested in checking them out first, here is a link.
If you are interested in it, you can call and ask the funeral director if they have done business with them before, and have them at least get a fingerprint on file. If not you can at least have them get a fingerprint and you can send in the order on your own. Thanks everyone. Mom is going to see a specialist today to figure out a game plan. They are thinking that they caught it early enough that she may only have to do a lumpectomy and radiation without having to go through chemo. Let's hope that does the trick.
