Since most of us are no longer in the nausea phase, what are everyone's major cravings right now? This baby wants me to eat cheeseburgers 24/7. Red Robin is my church.
I feel like my cravings have died down. I was all over the place early on and wanted really specific things and now I'm like eh. My need for French fries in bbq sauce has not waivered though.
I have a craving of the week with this one. Last week it was fried chicken. This week it's pizza. I'm usually a Coke Zero drinker, but I've really been wanting Dr. Pepper. For breakfast, I've been craving sausage, cheese and egg sandwiches from Starbucks. For a few weeks it was pancakes. A few weeks ago, I couldn't get enough Mediterranean food. This baby definitely has a diverse palate, as opposed to my first who I craved Mac and cheese with constantly.
i haven't been craving anything, but Victoria is giving me a major food adversion to Chinese food... I attempted to eat fried dumplings a few weeks ago and almost threw up
I'm not craving that much anymore, until someone mentions what they're craving. However, I'll never turn down pizza. Or crawfish, that's it, crawfish. I can't wait to go home to Louisiana in a few weeks.
All the carbs. Pizza, bagels and pasta, are the main culprits. I was watching Teen Mom 2 last night and they were eating pizza, now I haven't been able to stop thinking about pizza. Thin crust with extra cheese!
In the beginning it was nothing but carbs and the smoked bacon croissant sandwich from Starbucks every single day. Now it's tapered off a bit. I can crave pancakes about once a week though. Blueberry, red velvet or buttermilk... makes no difference give me the pancakes! This week though I'm on a fruit kick. I've been eating tons of blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, bananas, apple pears and pineapple. I'm also loving those drinkable chobani yogurt drinks. They're so good! I bought 7 boxes of girl scout cookies when I was in Illinois because my greedy pregnant self wanted all the cookies. I've only eaten half of one box and am contemplating pawning the other boxes off on my sailors so I don't eat them.
@Stankonia2014 I just looked it up and I'm closer than I thought (about 30 mins) so this might be going down soon. I hope you're able to get that cake!
I'm not craving anything specific. But I think I like carbs and junk food even more now that I'm pregnant. We order pizza once a week. I think that's more DH than pregnancy though. Also spicy stuff.
Sweets. All of them. Especially ice cream, cheesecake and frosting. And then on the flip side, salad, cucumbers, red/yellow/orange peppers. Oddly enough, bread carbs haven't been big this pregnancy.
Those of you who know the sex of your baby, are you finding your cravings match the old wives tales for predicting (i.e. Sweets for girls, sour/salty for boys)?
I'm team green and my biggest cravings of foods that are unusual for me are burgers and chocolate-flavoured anything (especially milkshakes)

Yep. This baby is a girl and I want all the sweets. All the time.

Honestly, I've craved wings and lemon for every single pregnancy. I have three girls and I'm pregnant with a boy.
Me craving lemon was actually what prompted me to test each time.

I'm having a girl and have wanted nothing but salty savory things since the very beginning of this pregnancy. I will eat the occasional sweet stuff like right now I'm on a fruit kick but for the most part give me all the salty deep fried things my tummy can tolerate!
@CapricaAndrea I'm the fourth out of my group of college friends to get pregnant within 12 months. The two that were pregnant with girls specifically wanted fruit more than anything else. The two of us pregnant with boys wanted all the salty carb stuff.
@CapricaAndrea It hasn't been true for me. I'm pregnant with a girl and not only have I preferred salty foods but I've had an actual aversion to anything sweet, even most fruit, until the last month or so. I had a major sweet tooth before so it was strange (and sad) to get sick eating something like a cupcake. I was reminded of another: strawberries. I'm waiting for peak season when the berries I get from the farmer's market will taste like sweet little jewels of heaven.
@CapricaAndrea it's not true for me either. I'm having a girl and have been craving burgers and spicy food this entire pregnancy. I did go through a two week period where all I wanted to eat was apples though, does that count? My first was also a girl and I couldn't get enough chicken minis from Chick-fil-A or grilled cheese with pickles.

This is currently me....
It is actually nice because my last pregnancy I had insane food aversions and I hated food.
@meilay, I'm craving CCF Limoncello Creme Torte Cake. I'm banking on my BFF bringing it down when I give birth, I live an hour from the nearest one.

so, not true for me.
As as far as food goes, I haven't been craving much, but I have been tolerating spicy foods more than normal.
