  I did (it was called FemVue, but it's basically the same thing, I believe). It's supposedly similar to an HSG (though I haven't had one of those done). They shoot saline through and use ultrasound to see if bubbles make it through the tubes and into the abdominal cavity. There was a bit of crampiness because at some point they went into the uterine cavity but it was not that bad - like a 3 out of 10 menstrual cramp. 800 mg of ibuprofen about 45-60 minutes before the procedure was adequate for pain control.

  Me - 35 (DH - 33). 
  TTC since May 2015.
  Saw RE in July 2016.
  11/16: IUI #1=  BFN.
  1/17: IUI #2 = BFN.
  5/17: IVF #1. 'long lupron' protocol. E2 = 4800, 'freeze-all', 8R, 7M, 4F, 4B.
  8/17: FET #1.
  Thus far - 'unexplained'.

  Thanks @notamyrtle! Sounds similar to what I've read but I just wanted to hear it from "someone I know" haha.  They are using mine to make sure my uterus doesn't have anything crazy going on in there that keeps causing losses.

  I just had one done Friday, what she said is accurate. Crampy and worse during some points in the procedure but nothing that u can't handle. Take the ibuprofen before n Wear a panty liner after! I also had an hsg done a few months back!! I hope you don't have to do that....that was painful

  @Rachel_leigh22 thanks! I had an HSG about a year ago and it wasn't too bad so I'm hoping that means the sonogram will be a breeze for me.
