the contractions have picked up a lot. They have pitocin going since my water broke before I was having any real contractions. Things are looking good with (baby), they're guessing 8 lbs!
6 cm, lots of pressure. This hurts! I got an epidural for the intense contractions, they were shooting all the way up to 100 on the chart. Still feeling the vaginal pressure.Took small naps but the pain wakes me up. I'm thinking this afternoon I'll b pushing. Been in labor since 5pm, unless u count the first spurt of water breaking at 2pm. This is a long process!
Latest message from blondepeanut said she is now 90% effaced but stuck at 6 cm. She said they are talking possible c/s and she will find out if they plan on that route in about half an hour from now.
Sending her the best well wishes that things get moving and she can avoid the c/s.
She will be getting a c/s. The baby won't fit through, and baby's head is starting to swell. Blondepeanut said they'll be taking her to do it soon.

Blondepeanut welcomed her precious daughter this afternoon. She is sore, but doing well.
