@SKZW I'm not sure if it was on Facebook or lurking on other boards but I read people saying they were trying not to eat as much. I thought it was crazy
I've tried not to eat too many sweets mainly because I haven't had the GD test yet lol but I just asked MH to go and get me some Ben & Jerry's Phish Food ice cream

Oh and for the FFFC part of it: now i've nailed my GD test i'm totally eating all the chocolate croissants, rice crispies and other unhealthy whatnots that come my way.
DH and I are out of town and our inn keeper made us reservations but not until 8pm. DH asks what we should do to waste some time (3 hours) so I informed him we are getting frozen yogurt, Thai food and then having Italian for dinner... it was amazing and I'm so full and happy I don't care.
@pshaortao - NO JUDGEMENT, but how did you get away with it? They stood over me at the office, with a timer going, to make sure I sucked it down in the allotted time!
My GD test came back with a slightly elevated number (140), so doctor just wants me to watch my carb and sugar intake. He's not making me monitor my blood sugars.
My FFFC: I totally housed a bean and cheese chimichanga for dinner. Well outside my carbs allowance, I'm sure. But it was freaking delicious.

I had to do that my first pregnancy in the lab. This pregnancy (diff state/practice), they send the drink home with you at your previous appt. I was trying so hard to not gag just to finish most of it. My number ended up being on the low end of the range so I don't think 1oz more would have made much of a difference anyways.

My first 2 were in a lab and they watched me too. But this time they gave me the drink weeks before my appointment and told me to drink it 30 minutes before my appointment and write the time I finished on the sign in sheet. I totally could've screwed it up. Was surprised they did it that way. It was quick and just a finger prick which was different from my previous two also. Every office is so different.
I did the 3 hour glucose test yesterday in a lab and they didn't trust me at all (I'm sure this is just procedure not a trust issue, but still). I had to beg to go back to my car to get my water bottle and they wouldn't even let me check my own levels with my glucometer. So I won't know until next week some time.
My FFFC: I got cupcakes for my husband on Valentine's Day only so I could get myself some cupcakes. He totally called me out on it.
@mspacman34 - I'm sitting here doing my 3 hour now and the tech checked my water bottle to make sure it was only water in it!!! Like I don't drink something else while waiting to have my blood drawn! They clearly have trust issues here.
My doctors office sends me home with the drink. They instructed me to drink it before I came in for my appointment, and to note the time I finished it so that I could have my blood drawn at the correct time.
FFFC: I've been referencing people on this board like I know them in real life. Like, "Oh yeah, someone I know mentioned [insert topic here]." I think it's just easier because I get the side-eye when I say I'm on a baby board.
Also, I'm way more active on the weekends lately.
