Somebody brought chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips into work and I may have eaten four in a short period of time yesterday... I kind of feel bad saying so though for you poor ladies without GD who couldn't even have one! But yeah. I may also be eating one now; somebody had to finish the last one.....
@magheeta I am still waiting for mine to come in and when they do, I will probably eat more Thin Mints than I care to admit.
Also related to cookies - on Tuesday I way overdid it on the cookie front. Someone brought chocolate chip cookies to work so I had to have a few of those, then DH brought me three huge gourmet cookies from a local bakery and I ate two at work.... kinda felt like crap after that but I regret nothing!
@Magheeta I cannot wait for ours. Dh ordered some from a lady at his work....and then I placed another order when a manager at mine asked if I wanted to lol. My excuse to Dh was that we can freeze them....
I had a boatload of hummus at one of our favorite restaurants last night. Hummus is usually the only thing I kind of avoid still, but I could not help myself. Their's is so freaking amazing.
All the chocolate chip cookie talk makes me remember that I have some at home, which now I cannot wait to devour when I get home. Thankfully DS is with my in-laws still and won't know mommy ate them all without him haha.
All this cookie talk has given me the idea to stop by the grocery store and purchase a half off pink cookie cake. I know they are there...just waiting to be the belated valentine to my tummy.
FFFC: I'm not a fan of cruise ships. True, I have never been on one. The wedding I'm in wants a "Sail with Veil" cruise for 4d3n in Aug. This seems ridiculously stupid to me as we all have to fly to where the ship leaves from. We could just fly to where the ship is headed and maximize our vacation hours at a fancy resort. booze+beach=bliss
@ashleym112 As far as I'm aware, the concern about hummus is about listeria in commercially prepared hummus. If your restaurant hummus is made in-house, it's hopefully fresh and even more likely to be listeria free.

I spent $20 on leftover Valentine's chocolate yesterday, and not even the sensible, shareable bags of m&ms, I'm talking I bought the heart shaped boxes of chocolates (and pb hearts)
FFFC: I can't remember who everyone is when I flip from Bump to FB.
@lovelongdog06 and @Dannylion24 I seriously thought about printing myself a cheat sheet for my cubicle when I bump at work. But then I didn't want to have to explain it to my coworkers.
On my first BMB, we had everyone sign with their bump name on FB for about the first month. It really helped!
My FFFC: I start my birthing class tomorrow and I'm dreading it. I'm not looking forward to whatever emotions it brings up. Plus, lazy Saturday mornings!

If I get any more NB or 0-3 clothes...I have a family shower next weekend and am really hoping a) I get no clothes b) I get 3-6 or older clothes or c) clothes come with a gift receipt.

@catem07 This week I returned so many newborn and 3 month onesies from my shower. Most of them were given without receits! So I had to figure out were all came from. I have another shower hosted by my friend and I asked her to let people know if they are purchasing clothes to bring 9 months and up and she was totally cool with it.
I told MIL, who is throwing the shower, that if anyone asks about gifts she should suggest no clothes. Not a lot has gone from the registry for this shower, though, so we'll see...

I haven't shampooed my hair in 6 days and I could probably go another day. This pregnancy has dried me out everywhere sooooo much. And my hair is so dry that it never gets dirty or greasy. I wouldn't mind if that would stick around for the whole never time to shower newborn stage. But I could totally do without the dry as toast skin and lips.
I really don't have a confession to add, but everyone's posts about cookies made me get my thin mints from the freezer! Okay actually I asked DH to get them haha but now I'm sitting on the couch and will probably finish a roll!
Instead of getting anything productive done at all today, I woke up watched 2 tv shows, ate cereal, watched a 3rd tv show, took a 5.5 hour slumber nap, watched a tv show, ate 5 mini snickers bites, and now all I want is to order Papa Johns pizza. Then probably watch more tv and go to bed lol. Guilty? Nope! Sorry, not sorry! I have tomorrow off...productivity can wait.
