Re: Randoms! 2/13

• Maybe I'm just trying to control something as I approach the uncontrolable... but I now swear this kid has flipped to sunnyside up. So, I'm spending my evening tummy down hugging (or bouncing on) my exercise ball to make sure she doesn't stay that way. *must avoid back labor again at all costs*

• @C25 Oh, Easter with two kiddos! I didn't even THINK about that! Be still my heart.

• @serenity13 does he not need a lot of sex? I know there are guys like that out there (I've been in relationships with some) but man oh man, that still seems unusual to use TIRED as a no thank you after 4 months! So sorry!! :(
• I soaked in the tub tonight to relax the muscles in my legs and I think baby retreated up further into the uterus...you can move back down now, little dude!

• @serenity13 hopefully tonight will be the night. I can't imagine having to go 4 months without sex. And getting the all clear would make me feel like an excited 20 year old all over again! Hahahaha.

• @Gators&BoSox aww <3

@serenity13 I'm sorry. That's the phrase I get told all the time too. I'm always like... you're such a girl! Hah.
I try to remember that our Hs are pregnant too...and dealing with the whole thing in their own way... but it still doesn't help when you put yourself out there for them and feel rejected.
• Guys. It's never ending. Wahhhhh. Here's the next one on the way tomorrow. Better than 26inches... but still! Bleh.

• @Cbeanz I'm sitting here at my desk completely out of breath even though I haven't really moved in the past 5 minutes because my lungs don't have room to expand and thinking about your situation.... If I were you I would totally take an extra week or so just to give my body a bit of a chance to rest! My advice is to go for the early maternity leave (100% NOT something I would have said before this pregnancy).

@Gators&BoSox That was an amazing story and it just made me tear up a little. Or maybe a lot... Ok fine, I'm crying.
• @kjd291 omg you just scared the crap out of me bc at first I thought that was a whole of New England shot and I was thinking "what happened to a dusting?!?" I feel for you lady I'm already looking at the forecast seeing how many "melting" days are coming up
• Finally following up from last week, somehow the county won't remove the fox living across the street from us, but they're giving us the new trashcan that I requested 8 months ago... so at least that's something? I'm hoping the fox will exit soon anyways since the neighborhood bunny population is officially gone.

Anyone else feeling like Valentine's Day, when you're super pregnant is not romantic? I'm trying to figure out what clothes fit me to wear tonight, I told DH we're going to a restaurant, didn't want dishes in the kitchen.
• @disneybaby84 feeling the same. I actually don't even want to go out anywhere. Probably ordering food. I'm going to have DH take me to this restaurant for lunch that has this labor inducing salad. That will be the highlight of my day.
• @disneybaby84 - for the last few years, DH and I have celebrated Valentine's Day by ordering take out and watching a movie in our pjs. It's really fun & relaxing. We're trying a new Mexican place near us tonight.

We are going to go out to eat on Saturday, but I feel a lot less pressure to dress up when its not the day of.

• @disneybaby84 yes. I feel like a land whale, I'm in pain, all I want to do is lay on the couch in yoga pants and eat chocolate. At the same time as I wish Valentine's would just go away, it makes me miss that part of our relationship so much more.

• @jenny0228 awww, that stinks!! Especially after you intentionally let some things go. I hope DH will miraculously step up!

@disneybaby84 / @RunBooRun I'm SO SO not a shopper, but I CANNOT wait to go shopping and get some clothes ((in a few months-gonna give my body some time to adjust)) I miss my old body too. I keep making the mistake of looking back at old pictures of myself and it just makes me depressed!! I try to remind myself I'm growing a life, and it's just a season--but sometiems it's just nice to throw yourself a pity party and say pregnancy and this body sucks! Hah
• @mcdonald-bailey Do it! Having someone else clean your house is worth every single cent. Honestly when my parents come out next month, having my mom keep our house clean is something that I'm looking forward to the most. She's one of those people that just has to do something and stay busy so she doesn't mind cleaning. With a toddler and a newborn, cleaning will be the very last thing on my mind.
• Not sure if this is a question for this thread, or a different one. But when you're strapped up to the fetal monitor, does anyone know what the number on the right side of the screen means? I know the left one is baby's heart beat. But couldn't figure out what the other one meant and the ladies never said what it was for.

• Count me in on the bringing my little one to a fancy Wendy's supper tonight! Lol so romantic. To be honest I would kind of sell my soul for a good dinner out and a movie tonight, cliche enough.. but no babysitter and no energy to do something about my hair so wendys it is.. although I'm almost tempted to run out and get candy... Like gummy worms and chocolate, Swedish berries.. sweettarts.. those gummy heart candies?.. I just want it all!
• Yeah, I've never been super into valentines and with DH being a CPA it's really bad timing for us. We usually do something nice and romantic in the summer to celebrate both of our birthdays instead. Plus, even though I have a super high sex drive still, DH pretty much lost all interest once I got rib pain that made it hurt to move. Go figure. We usually do hot wings, toasted ravioli, a movie on the couch and a full-house nerf war. Skipping the nerf war this year because I'm too easy of a target.

• I used to be a housecleaner! I worked for a company so I'd go out in teams of two or three. Seriously worth the money, especially if you have them come every week or every other week...it's just easier to maintain an already clean house than do the occasional deep cleaning :)

• @npaulie are you talking about the number that goes up when you have a contraction? They told me that the actual number means very little but a spike/drop indicates a contraction. But we might be talking about two different things.
• I definitely over did it today. Played in the snow and did one trip on the tube with DS... I knew I shouldn't but mom guilt kicked in and this was the first and probably last time he would get to do this in a long time.. then after he went to bed spent an hour on the floor putting together the bassinet. Paying for it now with lots of back pain and a billion BH. Please stay put for another 2 1/2 weeks little girl.
• @kjd291 This is the most recent map I've seen for tomorrow, and it makes me feel a tiny bit better than your map, so let's just go ahead and choose to believe this one. Lol
