Hey ladies, he was born yesterday around 10:05 am via emergent cs (they had to knock me completely out). I'll come back with photos and the very, very long induction story later. He is absolutely perfect and adorable!

7 lbs even, and 21" even (what are the odds?)! He has chubby cheeks but otherwise is a little stringbean! We are jaundiced today, so waiting to see if they are going to bring him a bili blanket. He is nursing like a champ with a nipple shield, too!

What a cutie!! Sorry to hear you had an emergency c/s. I hope you are healing quickly. Austin struggled with jaundice and high bilirubin numbers. We are just now seeing them drop to a safe Zone. His pediatrician suggested I take up 5000 units of vitamin D daily. Since you said you are breastfeeding too, I thought I'd share that. Congratulations!!!! He's adorable!
