I have one today. I don't quite get the LuLaRoe/patterned legging trend. I think they're really jarring on adults, and it always looks like the person is ready to go to the gym.
I can almost understand this kinda style, but it still just looks odd or childish to me...
And sometimes, people end up looking like this (pattern overload!):
I think it's dumb that in some public restrooms the changing table is in the handicap stall. Put the changing table outside of a stall! I'm always having to wait for the jerks to get out of the stall to change my kid. Come on!
Ditto re: LLR. I have a plain black pair and they are super comfy. But I don't need holiday themed legs. I am a little curious about some of their plain colored dresses with the waist. Obvi, that isn't in my future for awhile.
Also, I am super annoyed that it is difficult to find Superhero shirts for my daughter. We have so many "boy shirts" because she wants a Spider-Man shirt, Superman, etc. We just bought her a Superman/Batman/Green Lantern shirt yesterday from the boys section in Target. Girls like superheroes too!
As someone who sells LLR I obviously like their stuff. However, as you can see I'm more into the dresses and skirts. I have a fair share of leggings, but they're typically just worn around the house as "comfy" pants or today I'm wearing a solid green pair under that purple dress.
@bacorrea yes!!!! Daughter LOVES superhero things, and most of what we have is boys. Here there actually are ALOT of superhero clothes in the girl's section of target, but most of it is super glittery or frilly, not a simple tshirt.
Probably been said before but I really judge parents who pick a difficult name for their child. For example, a name that is spelled crazy so it looks like it might be pronounced one way and it's way off. Why do that to your child? You will forever be correcting those who pronounce it wrong and will take awhile for your child to learn to spell it. (Just saw someone do this on another app. Just no). Also those who pick inappropriate child names. Why?!
@bacorrea I'm a yes to both of those! No one clued me into the changing table in the handicap bathroom as a new mom either. There needs to be some kind of pamphlet.
I 2nd the name spellings. Or spelling a common sounding name weird. For instance: Jackson spelt as "Jaxsyn". Dude, it still sounds the same so no, it's not "unique".
LLR: I went to a party recently & all I could think of while trying on the giant dresses was that I looked like my grandmother in her moo-moo gown. No matter the comfort, I just couldn't do it. I have one normal t-shirt from LLR that I wear with jeans & 2 pairs of quite "loud" leggings, (one pair was actually a gift to me) but I only wear those leggings as pajamas & I am not looking to expand my LLR collection anytime soon.
As a FTM, I haven't really thought about the changing tables in the stalls. I can see the annoyance though!
And as a teacher, I second the post about weird or difficult-spelling names for children! A little creative license is okay, but I have seen some crazies!!
I agree with pretty much all of these so far- although I will say I'm intrigued by the LLR dresses. My issue is that they are so pricey! Maybe I'll check out eBay to try out some styles...
My UO: Oatmeal raisin cookies are garbage and have no business calling themselves cookies. A coworker brought in cookies today and I was super excited, as any red-blooded American would be. But then I saw them. And now my day is sad.

I got pretty hooked on LLR last year but have stopped shopping since because 1: $$ and 2: I have enough! I don't love the crazy patterns to wear out in public much but I do enjoy wearing my space leggings or this one really pretty but fun print to events with a bunch of kiddos. They tend to flock to me more because of my legs? Half of my stash are solids and I have some that are more colorful but consistent.
I just finally wore my Julia for the first time a couple weeks ago since they're so cute on pregnant women. I do not love the Irma since it's too baggy for my taste (except lately ha). AWing my Julia now.
Thought of another: It irks me when people put stuff in their siggy like "EBF, babywearing, SAHM, vegan, gluten free..." blah blah blah. It feels like humble bragging/ mommy judging.

@SWE2 I totally agree on the weird spellings of names. I am fine with unique names - as long as they are actually names and not something the parent just made up - but weird spellings bug the hell out of me.
My SIL lives in Vermont and has a bunch of LLR stuff. The leggings seem good and thick enough for winter wearing. If they had it in Canada I would totally buy some solid ones.
My UO: I really don't like the 3-D ultrasound images. I get the purpose of them (and to each their own!) (especially if they are a medical-health necessity) but they aren't flattering or cute. Nope. Wouldn't elect to have one. And in the AW US thread, there's zero warning when those pics are there---and they burn my retinas every. single. time.

They make the baby look like cheese.

Team I don't get the LLR love. Also +1 for bizarre spelled names and for just WEIRD names. We have one client that we work with his name is Little "Johnny Smith" and his father is "Johnny Smith". Obviously not the real names, but the Little is this kids legal first name. Why, Why would you do that to a person.
@SKZW This is by far one of my most favorite pictures:
I'm on board with these so far! ESPECIALLY on oatmeal raisin cookies, @kayemjay2. Fruit (generally) has no business in a cookie! And raisins look so much like chocolate chips that it's always excitement then immediate disappointment. Your sadness is warranted.
Also, kudos to @kns1988 on the Lebowski gif! I have a Lebowski meme in store if I ever disagree strongly, but so far The Dude does NOT mind any of these UOs

IKR? I know someone that took a 6 letter name and made it like 15. I think it ended up being like, Ahleeahana.
I've been living in LLR leggings and tops lately. The panel on my maternity pants don't stay up and I can't wear my regular jeans anymore. I'm lucky that I have a room full of it since I also sell it, so when I bought a new sweater last week I was able to pull a pair of solid-color matching leggings off the shelf, throw on my boots, and I was out the door. I have not tried to wear my dresses yet though.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
I have a bunch of LLR. I LOVE the Amelia dress. I have so many colors and prints. I have a few pairs of black leggings. The perfect tee has been great for pregnancy for me. But, Im with you guys on the printed leggings. I cant do them either.
@Jen_Shoes In regards to the boy's legal first name being Little, my stepsister's legal first name is Baby, but spelled Babie. She goes by her middle name instead.
LLR is the only thing that's comfortable and remotely flattering this pregnancy! I'm in love. I also LOVE an oatmeal rasin cookie. (I'm craving now, thanks.) I like unique names (maybe not spellings, though.)
I'm having terrible pregnancy memory these days, but I had my first UO this morning! Now I can't remember it.
Ugh I agree with the oddly spelled names... i have a common name, spelled very differently and I have been called everything under the sun my whole life.
I would put it here, nuts it's seriously so unique that you can search just my first name and find everything about me because NO ONE spells it that way
lets just say I have not 1 but 3 "E"'s in my first name alone

The patterned leggings need a solid color tunic, it's the only way I wear them out of the house. And there are some patterns I won't go near. But there's some very nice subtle ones too.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
I do own 3 pairs of LLR leggings, although the two that are patterned are two-color, neutral geometric patterns which makes them very easy to pair with a solid colored top and I don't feel over the top.
I have to admut, I love a good, soft/chewy oatmeal raisin cookie with lots of spice (cinnamon or whatever yumminess is in oatmeal raisin cookie dough) and big raisins! Nothing worse than a hard stale oatmeal raisin cookie.
Im going to have to say that "unique" spellings of names can't possible be a UO. Please God don't let it be!!
This has been used before I think but it's timely: Mu UO is that I LOVE snow! I wish we had a foot on the ground instead of the 2 inches we got yesterday that will wash away tomorrow in the 60 degree weather and rain. WTF Midwest weather? Go home, you're drunk.
