Eye contact

My baby doesn't really give a lot of eye contact when picked up. Should I be worried?

    I'd say it's worth discussing at your next pediatrician appointment.

    Does the baby give eye contact at other times?  Sometimes when picked up there might be a lot of new stuff to look at, but I'd be concerned if the baby never gave eye contact.

    Does he make eye contact when he's on the floor?  Held a little further away?  Mine won't make eye contact either when held on my hip.  He'll actually do what he can to look away.
