The guy in the trunk was sippin on some Pepsi and my friend was speeding like a mad man. Anyways, the cop pulled us over and asked the usual any drugs, weapons, or alcohol ? No. Anything in the trunk ? No. Phew talk about sweating. Small community the cop asked if his mother knew he was driving like an idiot. I don't know how he didn't cry or pass out. The worst one was the morning of my 21st birthday, it was 2:30 in the morning and I was on my way to my second job at a bakery. The speed limit went from 50 to 25 and I didn't slow down in time. He ended up giving me a ticket for having signs to sell my car in the windows instead of a speeding ticket "as my birthday present". The most recent one was because I was going the normal speed limit in a school zone during school hours. I just got a warning though.

@WildMagelet this is a great resource for paleo https://meljoulwan.com/paleo-101/ @FLAshley I once drove with a car full of people and a friend in the trunk. I just can't believe how stupid I was back in college @adirat I have a new person starting today too! Thankfully they bring some solid experience to our group. GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it ! Well, this one gets interesting. I went years without ever getting pulled over, until I ended up with a bright red Pontiac Sunfire, like this:
Within a week of having that car I got pulled over, and it became a regular occurrence the entire time I had it. It would be for some pretty ridiculous reasons too. The first time they pulled me over for an expired inspection while I still had temp plates. Another time I got pulled over for doing 47 in a 45. I worked in a bar at the time, so every night driving home from work I would get pulled over. I finally got rid of that car about 5 years ago, and I have not been pulled over since. I now will NEVER buy another red car again.
@adirat That sounds mentally draining. I hope it goes smoothly and easily with the newbie. @lulu1180 Yay for CH! @Pinky917 Whoa, that is crazy how you got pulled over so much with the red car! Isn't insurance even higher for some colors, like red?

There are a few I'd like us to meet, and I know if we do that, it's all over. lol
CS/Q: Nope. I haven't even really temped this cycle. Mostly due to forgetting and DS waking up at different random times. I think I'll just go by OPKs and CM and my past averages. I knew this month was going to be crazy. DH starting his new job soon, my mom coming to visit, my weekend trip to Vegas. It's just going to be difficult this month anyway.

R/R: I spent the morning yesterday scrubbing out our bathtub and shower. Somehow I managed to pull a muscle in my leg while doing so. I'm clearly out of shape.
GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it !
Oh man, i've been pulled over so many times (not all with tickets) but I have gotten three tickets. One was for speeding, one was for making an illegal left hand turn, and the third was for not wearing my seatbelt. I'm actually a good driver and rarely break traffic laws, I just always seem to get caught when I do.
I have also been pulled over while driving a golf cart lmao.
@ktcakes87 I got my very first ticket on my 18th birthday. I was pulling out of my HS parking lot and just went to grab my seatbelt to put it on and a cop was sitting there watching me. Got a $75 ticket which was exactly how much money my grandma gave me in my bday card.
@jess0211 I swear there was someone on TTGP back a number of months ago who was planning to use a syringe because finding time to have sex with her partner was difficult or it was too much pressure or something along those lines. lol So honestly you probably wouldn't be the first person to try something like that.

alysapuggles Two dogs are a lot of work. We had our first dog for 6 years and then our second dog literally just showed up in our front yard one day. He was a stray and after taking him to the humane society (nobody claimed him), we adopted him. He LOVES our female dog, like glued to her hip. She is a bit indifferent. I am glad they have each other, but geesh, two dogs are so much more work than one dog.

FLAshley Nice job on waking up early! I am terrible at that. Though I was up at 5:00am today, it was due to insomnia, not a motivation to do things
Month/Cycle: 5/5 3TTCAL

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Pom Juice, HIO....hanging out here for a few more days to confirm O
R/R: Rave: I am pretty sure I O'd yesterday because I had a .5 temp spike this morning. I am hoping it is realiable because my insomnia came back last night. So strange, Natural Calm has been working amazingly for the past three weeks and last night was not as bad as it was pre-Natural Calm, but definitely stayed awake from 3:00am-5:00am. Luckily fell back asleep for about 1.5 hours and was able to temp. Hoping it's reliable.
Rant: A little irritated at DH right now. I really wanted to HIO yesterday to get in one last time, but alas, it was not successful. The plan was to HIO mid-day (he has more energy between 11:00am-7:00pm), but his brother randomly showed up to watch the Super Bowl. Then, DH wanted to wait until closer to bed time. I knew if we went too close to 11pm, it wouldn't be good...and I was right. Couldn't get across the finish line. Ugh. But, it looks like I probably O'd yesterday, so timing would be -2 and -1...so good overall.

GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it !
Yes, a few times. Once while using the shoulder to pass cars (cars always got backed up at a light and it was common to drive the shoulder for about 500ft to get to the highway ramp). I had done it a ton of times before, but one day a cop was sitting in the shoulder and saw me. Luckily, I didn't get a ticket.
Another time, I got a ticket for supposedly running a red light, but it was yellow. I went to court to fight it (and avoid points) and they reviewed footage and proved it was in fact yellow.
WAYDTGKU: All the things + Metformin and Vitamin D
R/R: The job interview went well on Friday!! The guy kept calling it my position and told me he was planning on stealing me from the other job that was looking at me. I should have an offer by tomorrow.

GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it ! Ugh 3 times. The first time was for having too much snow on the top of my car. Nice cop just helped me clean it off and sent me on my way. The second time I was trying to get to court to file some documents and may have been speeding by like... 20 km/h so I got a hefty ticket. Then, 3 days later, I got a seat belt ticket even though I was wearing my seat belt. So that one is going to be fought in court for sure.

GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it ! twice for speeding. once as a teenager, the second time was a few years ago. I had gotten a prius and they warned me that everyone who gets a prius gets a speeding ticket. well yup, within 2 weeks I had a ticket. they just ride so smoothly. Though I will gripe a little I was going down a hill at the time and realized I was going to fast so I was actively breaking when the cop put on his lights. oh well.

@dragonfly87 Yes, two dogs are so much more work. That's kind of how it was with ours. We had our first dog about 5 years when we got the second as a puppy. He stayed glued to our first dog for the rest of first dog's life. So he seems more quiet and lonely now. Hopefully we can find a good fit for him and all of us. So glad the Natural Calm has (mostly) been working for you. I have to take it every night and it makes such a huge difference for me. I hope it continues to work for you.

@wabash15 I'll be rooting for you Wednesday!!
@BertieMeetsGertie not a stupid question. Some REs will have you wait for a + OPK then come in for IUI but I personally don't think thats a great way to do it. THere are so many things that can go wrong relying on an OPK for your timing. some ladies don't turn an OPK, you might O over a weekend and the lab might not be there to process your sample, or like me you may sometimes turn an OPK only one day or multiple days.... @dragonfly87 sorry HIO didn't work yesterday, but the two days before should give you good timing! @dilynne I am so glad to hear that the job interview went well!! fx!

GTKY: Have you ever been pulled over by the police while driving ? Tell us 'bout it !
When I was 16 I got pulled over for swerving too much out of state while on the interstate. I was paying attention, but was being a bit off a show-off to my friend and cousin who were in the car with me. Cop put the fear of God in me and I was on my way. Never spoke of it again.
When I was 18 I got pulled over for "not utilizing my turn signal" when turning right at a corner in town (from a turn lane, I might add). Which is a total load of crap because I religiously utilized my turn signals up until that point. Since then, I generally use them but have been a bit more lax, especially if I'm in a turn lane. I told my mom (who worked for an attorney's office) and she told me that there had been reports of cops pulling young women over in our town for no legitimate reason.
Thanks everyone! Our new staff member seems good though I was a little confused when I told her about our various projects and she didn't take notes...like you should probably take notes.
@wabash15 Thanks for the helpful info about IUIs. Do you know if a trigger is also used for letrozole + TI?
@shortstack930 I hope yours isn't delayed too much! I normally O cd15-16 so I guess there's time. Also, hi! I'm not sure if we've talked before.
@heatherdubrow Thanks that's helpful to know. I'll ask when I go in what he recommends. This is not a good reason but... I'm kind of wary of giving myself an injection hence my question.
Edit -- and when I said to my husband that he could give me a shot he made the JT face like in @sheknows6 's siggy so that may be a hard no.
@adirat most people are freaked out by injections but once you learn how it's really not so bad. It's daunting giving it to yourself but the trigger is almost always only one shot. So you don't have to do it a bunch of times. Your nurse or MA will teach you how. You'll be a pro in no time!
I'll add that I do my own lupron injections every morning because they're on my stomach. But when we start progesterone my H will do it, because it's a muscular injection.

He claimed he saw the whole thing but needed my statement before he went on to chase the motorcycle for speeding.

For speeding twice. First time I was very young and legit was speeding a good amount. I totally was about to get a ticket, then the officer got a call on the radio, and it must have been interesting because he changed his tune, said slow down, then booked it out of there. Second time I was speeding again, but the officer gave me an unclear license plate ticket which wasn't points. Thanks to that guy!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, Pom Juice, HIO....hanging out here for a few more days to confirm O
R/R:
Rave: I am pretty sure I O'd yesterday because I had a .5 temp spike this morning.

Yes, Twice for speeding and once for avoiding an accident. I was crossing a 4 lane a dusk and a motorcycle came out of no where. I swerved to avoid a collision and ended on the wrong side of the median. Low and behold a cop was right on my tail as I stopped. He claimed he saw the whole thing but needed my statement before he went on to chase the motorcycle for speeding.
