Hard to believe we are going into February already.

*as we get closer to April can we start to put how far along we are in this thread? I forget sometimes and I think it would be good for people to know when certain things start happening (ie. GBS, NST, and cervical checks)

@Blueberry85 ugh! I can't imagine the discomfort of laying in that dentist chair at this point in the pregnancy. It's already uncomfortable as it is getting a cavity filled.

I'm due 4/30 so not as far along as others. Glucose test tomorrow. I'm nervous! Thinking about it makes me realize how much sugar is in my diet!

I have my second 2 week appt Wed and I'll be 30 w, 6 days.

This is my 2nd appt with this provider as we are in middle of moving out of state. I'm going with hubby every 2 weeks while he with then i have appt. We move when I'm 34 weeks...basically been 24/7 stress since last August. I'm just ready to be love and settle in

Appointment this Friday at 31+1. It'll be a routine prenatal appointment that includes a hemoglobin check. I'll also get a referral for a 32 week ultrasound to check baby's position (praying for a cooperative head down baby)

I'm not due till 4/26 so I am a little behind everyone else. I have my 28 week ultrasound on Friday.

We start childbirth classes on Wednesday!

I had my appointment last night. My first every two week appointment, 28+4. No weight gain for two weeks, yippee, and baby sounded good. Midwife was able to feel his/her position, for now head down so I hope it stays that way. I've been sick for 2 weeks so she held off on my T-Dap. I filled out my pre-registration paperwork so everything is set to go when the time comes. Crazy to think it's already at that point, but good Lord, I'm so ready for April to be here.

Failed my 1 hour glucose test (144) so determining what the next step is. Can only assume the 3 hour test. Also did a hospital tour last night and wasn't in love with the place. Everyone has had great experiences there but there was something about it (which I can't put my finger on) that I didn't like. Also had my Tdap shot. My arm is still hurting! Overall sort of a "whomp whomp" day.

Had my 28 week appointment + glucose test. Failed the glucose test (170!!!) and had low iron. Going in Friday for my 3 hour, my tDap AND additional blood work. Be jealous.

The rest of the appointment was great. Met with another doctor in the practice and he was great. Good heartbeat, measuring exactly where I should. Schedule my c-section (which I'm not psyched about, but don't have a choice) for 4/18.

Can anyone suggest an iron supplement they took in addition to the pre-natal? DD had an appetite for spinach and burgers last time, so my iron levels were awesome.

@momtoleo - I felt the same way about my hospital tour with DD. DD was born at my husband's alma mater so he was just... over the freaking moon about everything. This time our D2 will be born in my home state in THE hospital we went to, and I felt so much more comfortable. Could it have anything to do with where it is/other associations with it?

2 week appointment yesterday, second appt with the new provider (we are moving out of state in a few weeks so I've been going with my hubby every 2 weeks so I can get established and he works). It's a hospital group with midwives and obs, I'm seeing midwives. So far they're all excellent. We are sooo happy (previous 2 providers where we were at, we were disappointed...felt uninformed and forgotten).

Baby is head down! Hubby and I both got to feel! Got Tdap.....arm is sore.

Mentioned lump on my lower leg that hubby noticed. I'd forgotten about it. I pointed it out to midwife last Aug, it was smaller. That midwife tried to get dr to come look but no one woukd....it was dismissed and I forgot. My new midwife was concerned and measuring it. It white/skin, does not hurt touched or with activity. I'm back in my town Fri and my dr responded to an email he wants to see me. I'm nervous and I hope it is nothing. He's a great dr I trust so much so I hope he has some good insight!

Just updating from my last appointment where I was measuring 6 weeks ahead and was told I wouldn't be allowed to go to 40 weeks. (from the nurse practictioner). I was excited to go again today and talk with my Dr. but he had surgery again so I was back with the NP. Today I measured 35 cm instead of 38 like the week before. She was very happy about it as was I and she said it is most likely just positioning of the baby. I finally received a call from MFM today and got my growth ultrasound scheduled for next week. I also spoke to her about being induced and not going to 40 weeks and I'm glad I did, it cleared up a lot of things. She said they absolutely will not induce me unless medically necessary. Women who have high BP (even on meds) tend to see it spike up again around 34 weeks and if it stays that way then inducing at 39 weeks is very possible. However she said *most women with high BP tend to go into labor on their own early so there's a good chance that induction won't happen. I know there are no guarantees and if I end up induced then that's what happens. I kinda felt like I was told oh your being induced without any explanation last time and I'm happy it was cleared up today

Regular appointment today at 37 weeks 5 days. My next one is 2 weeks out. It's getting so close! I found out I passed my glucose test and need to get another tdap shot.

@Nolegirl1185 Yay! That's good news, and I'm glad the measurement went way down!! 35cm when you are almost 32 weeks (signature stalking) seems like a much more manageable/reasonable number. And that's great that your MFM was able to relieve some of your concerns in regards to being induced.

@Nolegirl1185 I'm so glad you updated! I was thinking about you today but was swamped at work and couldn't hardly bump. Glad things are measuring closer to where you are. Definitely let us know how the growth US goes
