GTKY: What's your hidden talent?
People always tell me that I know everything- like, really good at trivia because I know so many random facts and stories.
R/R: So I was putting O on CD 13/14 based on EWCM. I've had watery cm since then which is not normal. I also had some nonchalant vagina itching the last few weeks. At first it was barely there, every so often, so I didn't think anything of it. I had a yeast infection at the beginning of this cycle that I took an RX for. I mean, I know with only tracking CM you never really know anyway but it sucks. I could have just completely tested early. If I O'd a few days later than I thought then we actually have better timing.
CS/Q: Can yeast infections around O affect the sperm getting to the egg? (maybe that's a WTO post but oh well)

eta: I also have a weird knack for remembering random details. Not quite trivia though. I have horrible short term memory though.
R/R: I'm gonna go all "F the world here" in my rant, so **TW** incase. I started spotting late last night. I usually take spotting with a bit of grace and I'm bummed but hey we will try again. This month I'm just pissed and have the "why not us" mentality when two of my coworkers just got pregnant by just not being careful anymore. Oh that simple huh? @kiwi2628 I'm glad your kitty is doing well after yesterday's surgery!!
@KariAnn323 I was using garden of life but switched to rainbow light because I was terrible at taking the GOLs three times a day... Now I'm working my way through a paper bag full of Rx samples our RE gave me. I had no nausea issues with either the GOL or the rainbow light.

Hoping to see some BFPS soon, ladies!! I'm still benched, but have questions about natural progesterone cream. Who uses it? What kind? How often? Do you notice a temp spike?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 I have heard that REs say it doesn't absorb through the skin well, so its basically useless. Especially the OTC stuff. I can ask my OB friend though.
@sheknows6thanks for the month rollover reminder! Month/Cycle: 15/13

@kiwi2628 Yeah I read something about using it vaginally. That's what women on the progesterone pill do. Just curious!

@kiwi2628 so glad your kitty is doing well! @KariAnn323 I got Rx ones from my dr, they don't make me nauseous and I like knowing that since they came from a pharmacist they contain everything I need. And they're free because insurance @slaven I'm not a medical expert but just in research I've done I've read that yeast infections are common during pregnancy and don't affect the baby, so I'd assume they wouldn't affect getting pregnant either. Maybe one of the medically inclined ladies on here knows for sure
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 18/6
Timing: -4, -1, 0, 1
Testing: Trying to hold out til 2/8 (12dpo) but might cave and test early (9dpo) on Sunday
R/R: I'm so tired today. Took forever to fall asleep last night because I was just so hungry! But it was 11 pm and I wasn't getting out of bed to eat especially since I'd already flossed and all that. Bizarre. On the bright side of things, it's Thursday!

R/R: Omg I can't believe I actually made it this far without testing! I have never ever made it to 12dpo without testing. And I've rarely ever had a 12+ day luteal phase; I'm so glad this progesterone is working! Month 2 is also a success. Now I will know tomorrow when I test that it will either be surely negative or surely positive, no squinting or questioning. But DAMN it was hard not to test this morning!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your hidden talent? I have a decent singing voice
@canonmom413 I wish I could draw, it must be relaxing @kiwi2628 so glad your kitty is doing great! @KariAnn323 I take this one:@NYTino24 I tried it but it didn't affect my LP. I used it for 3+ months. The progesterone suppositories I'm taking now are the only thing that's made such a drastic difference for me (from 8-9 day LP to 13 day LP last month and now 12 and counting)
@TravelingCouple@KariAnn323 I also take Rainbow Light. I like it, but I always take my vitamins at night so I don't get an upset stomach. I've never had an issue with my LP so I wouldn't know about that. I take the daily duo instead of just the prenatal.
Good job on not testing TravelingCouple!! FX for the biggest BFP tomorrow!
Testing: Sunday (2/5) - though my resolve is currently wearing thin.
R/R:Rant: I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot. It's hard. I've had nausea and mild cramping yesterday and this morning. I'm trying to remind myself that it's probably AF coming but my brain keeps going "OMG YOU ARE KTFU!!1!!11!!" CTFD brain.
Rave: On the bright side I just found a bundle of online coding courses worth nearly $1k for $49. I'm so excited!
CS/Q: Nothing to see yet. Temps still way above CL (as per usual) and no triphasic pattern or implantation dip to speak of.
GTKY: What's your hidden talent? Technology troubleshooting. A problem I am unfamiliar with? I can google that shiz and fix it pretty quickly. Puzzles are super fun for me and that's all technology really is, a giant puzzle.

@50Wife I'm sorry you're having a rough day with the spotting and pregnant co-workers. It's tough to deal with. Treat yourself today.
@sheknows6 Your GTKY, a friend of mine does that and loves it! She's always trying to get me to join.
@TravelingCouple woohoo for a 12 day LP! That is awesome, and FX for you tomorrow!
@jessafishy I've been curious about coding, and I think it's something I would like....then again, I've been curious about a lot of jobs I think I'd like since I hate mine and have been looking for a new one for a few months lol.
Also, I keep forgetting to tell you, I love the quote in your siggy! I have it on a light switch plate in our living room.
@kiwi2628 I'm so glad you kitty is doing fine after the surgery Must be such a relief. @TravelingCouple I'm so proud of you for not testing today! Yay, and I'm crossing all my fingers now
Hey ladies, I came to say I'm out. I'm all agry with the world today, and sad.. (guess I'm sangry..), so those who have a sensitive soul today just skip the rest please, no need to bumm you out too. It was a cruel trick my body played this cycle, I had all the good feelings, AF was one day late with no sign of showing up (not even the usual spotting and so), so of course I peed on a stupid stick this morning just to face yet another BFN and have my period arrive one hour later. It's like "thanks, Universe, I guess I wasn't crushed and shattered enough during the past 13-14 cycles over the past 1,5 year, you had to get me something new getting my hopes up like this". I'm bitter now, I know. I'll get better, I promise.

And thank you! I heart Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling and I've wanted to get that quote on a print to hang (or add it to a light switch as well!).

@NYTino24. I was talking oral progesterone before. I didn't think my temps looked all that different from when I wasn't taking it, tbh. I was taking it for 10 days starting around 3-4dpo, but I actually still got AF around the end of that time. Not sure if that answers your question or not! :#
@BusinessWife I knew I should ask you! From what I read, only like 15% of oral progesterone gets metabolized. Creams also can cause the hormone to get stored in fat if applied topically. Therefore the suggestion to use it vaginally. I don't have a LP defect in terms of length. *TW* My issue is temps not staying up during the time I was pregnant.*/TW*
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 yeah, I think my doctor wanted it to be metabolized and stored up longer term? It wasn't so much a short lp as just the spotting that would start leading up to AF. Otherwise my levels were normal/plenty high, but they were tanking too fast close to the end of my LP. :/ hence the spotting
@kiwi2628@zwink1 I'm a trivia person too, most of it is useless information. @Anna_1021 sorry you're having a rough day & a BFN. sending positive thoughts to you and hoping the universe is nicer to you @canonmom413 I'm always so impressed/fascinated by those that can draw.

@Avrilmai aw sorry about the bfn. I really hate when the mind plays cruel tricks and makes you think "this is it!" only to flop. @Anna_1021 *big hug*
@jessafishy that deal is a steal! Have fun coding!
I don't mean to be short but my day is catching up to me. I'll try to pop in, but will likely not post on TWW from here onward. I am 99.999999% sure I am out.

*TW rant about other pregnancies mentioned* Unmistakable period cramps have settled in and all hope I had (which is lot, if I'm being honest) is now gone. How does one NOT turn into a bitter shrew after trying for this long? I tried SO HARD to be calm and stress free this cycle and I was doing so great before these goddamn cramps. At the library with DS' toddler program today literally EVERYONE else there either had a newborn in tow or a swelling belly. And the pregnant ones were complaining about how tired they are. If only they knew how much I'd give to be tired. This is so unfair. I don't know how to stop feeling so bitter and I hate it. Once AF shows I may be taking a break from everything for a while..
@TravelingCouple I wish I had some awesome words of wisdom to tell you how to not be bitter, but all I can say is I totally get it. I'm facing a possible surgery and my sister gets KU without even trying. It's so not fair. Anytime you need to complain/vent/whatever, I'm here! And so are all the other women on this site. Hang in there friend.

@TravelingCouple I'm sorry. This is EXACTLY where I am today. I'm a few months behind you but I get it. I try to be calm and do my own thing and not care if other women are luckier than me but it's just so hard when it's right in your face. I have nothing helpful to say, only I was positive about this month too and today I am just as bitter.
@linzrunz@TravelingCouple I'm there with you, girls. **TW** This week I had to tell one of my best friends (to whom motherhood is especially extremely important) that I just can't bear being around her adorable toddler. Just can't. What an awful thing to say but that's the truth. I've decided that I'll be (very wholeheartedly and kindly) be open about these. Can't hold it in any more and be alone with this any more. Hugs
ALso @linzrunz: my doc aso wants to do laporoscopic surgery on me, but as an explorative surgery to check everything out - like instead of an HSG, surgery right away. Why is yours?
(Edited because Bump ate half of it)
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
Thank you sweet ladies @linzrunz@50Wife@Anna_1021 I wish we all weren't here, but it's nice to have support from those who GET it. I wish I could change it for all of us.
@Anna_1021 I think honesty is absolutely key, for yourself and others. I've been much more transparent with my closest friends and family because honestly, no I'm not ok and this is a really rough season of life right now. In TTC and otherwise. And I don't want to pretend I'm OK with those I'm closest to. All my immediate family and best friends know how long we've been trying, so they understand how broken I am when I grab my bag and take it into the bathroom with me at a restaurant, or if I ask for a tampon if I've forgotten one.. it's nice to not have to pretend. But that's just me. I know some need the privacy too and don't want to open up the door for questions. You have to protect your heart.
@Anna_1021 I have an RE referral and part of the first round of testing would include an HSG, but none of it is covered on my insurance (no infertility coverage...boo!). My OB can do the laparoscopy/hysteroscopy and code it so that my insurance will cover it. I've been researching it a little and it looks like it'll do more of an overall health check of everything as opposed to an HSG - but don't quote me on that. (If anyone has any more insight into that claim - especially if I am incorrect - please let me know!). My OB doesn't do HSGs, so that's my only option if I stay with her. So basically, it's insurance reasons.
@TravelingCouple@Anna_1021 Re: telling people vs. not telling... I'm struggling with this as well. So far, H and I have decided to keep quiet. I've told a couple really close friends, my mom, and my brother. I've been tempted to tell my sister (who just got pregnant "on accident" for baby #5) so I can tell her I can't handle any more pregnancy updates or complaining, but have decided that for not it's best not to tell her. It's a difficult decision to make and both comes with pros and cons. You just have to do what's best for you since everyone handles it differently.

@KariAnn323 I got Rx ones from my dr, they don't make me nauseous and I like knowing that since they came from a pharmacist they contain everything I need. And they're free because insurance
@slaven I'm not a medical expert but just in research I've done I've read that yeast infections are common during pregnancy and don't affect the baby, so I'd assume they wouldn't affect getting pregnant either.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your hidden talent? I don't really have one. I can kind of sew. I made my friend a tulle skirt that she wore in her engagement pictures so that made me feel pretty good about myself
CD/DPO: 32/12
Timing: 0-1, 0, 0+1
Testing: Tomorrow
R/R: Omg I can't believe I actually made it this far without testing!
I have never ever made it to 12dpo without testing. And I've rarely ever had a 12+ day luteal phase; I'm so glad this progesterone is working! Month 2 is also a success. Now I will know tomorrow when I test that it will either be surely negative or surely positive, no squinting or questioning. But DAMN it was hard not to test this morning!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's your hidden talent?
I have a decent singing voice
@canonmom413 I wish I could draw, it must be relaxing
@kiwi2628 so glad your kitty is doing great!
@KariAnn323 I take this one:
Good job on not testing TravelingCouple!!
DD born: 3/31/19
CD/DPO: 23/11
Timing: O-2, O, O+1
Testing: Sunday (2/5) - though my resolve is currently wearing thin.
R/R: Rant: I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot.

Here's a real cutie for you to elevate the mood of the board:

And thank you! I heart Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling and I've wanted to get that quote on a print to hang (or add it to a light switch as well!).

GTKY: What's your hidden talent? I'm really quite introverted and tend to speak softly, but I also have a pretty good public speaking voice, I can project quite well. People are usually surprised to hear a booming voice come out of me.

I will probably test next Thursday too. FX so hard for you. You can hold out, I know you can do it! Also, I used to do Pole fitness too! well actually, I never did pole, I did chair. They offered both classes, but I did chair for about 2 years. Heels and all! What a workout!

GTKY: What's your hidden talent? I am good at Photoshop. I think its fun, I love to merge subjects, images, backgrounds, all that. I was pretty good at one point but my skills have probably not kept up with technology.
@Avrilmai aw sorry about the bfn. I really hate when the mind plays cruel tricks and makes you think "this is it!" only to flop.
@Anna_1021 *big hug*
@jessafishy that deal is a steal! Have fun coding!
I don't mean to be short but my day is catching up to me. I'll try to pop in, but will likely not post on TWW from here onward. I am 99.999999% sure I am out.

R/R: Stopped progesterone so I'm just waiting to start another cycle... Awesome. Next step in testing will be SA for H (he is being a butthead and not wanting to do it yet UGH!) and then surgery (laproscopy and hysteroscopy) for me in May. Thinking about NTNP for the next couple cycles.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's your hidden talent? I'm really good at falling asleep in a car. Does that count?

Unmistakable period cramps have settled in and all hope I had (which is lot, if I'm being honest) is now gone.

ALso @linzrunz: my doc aso wants to do laporoscopic surgery on me, but as an explorative surgery to check everything out - like instead of an HSG, surgery right away. Why is yours?

@canonmom413 hi cycle buddy, the 10th would be the earliest I test too. (I hope anyways lol)
@kiwi2628 your timing is awesome!
@TravelingCouple fx for tomorrow!
Month/Cycle: 10/10
CD/DPO: 17/3 (personally I think it's 2 but i'll stick with FF)

R/R: not much right now.

GTKY: What's your hidden talent?
Um I don't really have any talents, I'm pretty lame.
We even have same timing

@TravelingCouple @Anna_1021 Re: telling people vs. not telling...
