I have one beautiful daughter, she's almost 3. I now have not one, but two children who never got to feel the sun. A thousand voices have told me that this wasn't my fault but its hard to feel that way when there are concerns that my blood dyscrasia caused it. We saw a heartbeat on 1/25 at 6 weeks. I should have been 6 weeks 6 days based on LMP, but there was a strong heartbeat. We just assumed I had ovulated a day or two later than usual. I felt fine from the moment I tested on 1/13, 4 days late until 2pm on 1/26. In 24 hours, we lost so many new dreams. After several hours at the emergency room on the 26th, and multiple at my OB on the 27th, we were sent home and told to hope for the best. My bloodwork said I was "pregnant", it was 474. My ultrasound at the hospital indicated I was 4 weeks, no evidence of fetal pole or heartbeat. My husband and I all ready knew, and I miscarried at home yesterday. My follow up bloodwork today had my HCG at 120. I'm devastated, my husband is so sad. We lost another pregnancy just a few months ago. They are referring us back to hematology because I was diagnosed with a blood defect following my daugther's labor and delivery and now to a fertility specialist for recurrent miscarriage. I have a follow up US on Valentines day to make sure my body has passed everything, its just a little more insult to injury to be that day.

I am so sorry you're having to go through this! Los is never easy, but it certainly stings a bit more when they come one after the other. I had a chemical pregnancy back in march and a m/c recently at 7 weeks due to a lighted ovum. While I ha e an incredible 5 year old at home, I can't help but feel sad about the little ones that never got to live.

I am hoping that you are able to get some answers and a plan in place that will help you bring a healthy rainbow baby into this world. Sending you lots of hugs.
