This thread is for August moms who have previously suffered a loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, etc).
Let's all do a little intro, as a reminder and for those that weren't around when we did the first time!

pregnancy. I have no living children.
How far along are you? 9w4d
How are you doing? Very anxious, "morning sickness" worse at night, headaches. All this is worth the - all I want is my Rainbow Baby.
When is your next appointment? February 13
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm on leave due to a subchorionic bleed whichever resolved. I have to go back to work mid-February and I'm terrified because I had MC's while working. On a happy note, I'm sending you all virtual hugs.
GTKY: If you're planning to take a Babymoon, when and where are you going? Somewhere tropical I hope.

How far along are you? 13 weeks tomorrow!
How are you doing? Not too bad. I think my energy is coming back, and I am hoping to start working out again.
When is your next appointment? Feb 9. Checkup and glucose test, boo.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My DH got me a 6 month subscription to BumpBoxes for my birthday. I got my first box on Saturday, and it had pregnancy safe face wash (that I am loving so far), some prenatal water supplements (like flavor packets, but with vitamins in them), and a test of prenatal water. It also had a water bottle and a bunch of coupons. Im looking forward to seeing what next month will bring. They gear each box towards the trimester that you are in, so next month will be 2nd tri for me!
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch? Far to many. I love once upon a time, Quantico, Modern Family, Life in Pieces, TGIT (all 3), Most food network shows (like worst bakers, and kids baking championship). I really watch too much TV but I cant help it! We also watch stuff on Netflix before we go to bed. We are finishing Dexter (for the second time) right now.

@mjjc7709 I'm sorry about your losses:( welcome to our lttle group! I hope you can find some peace here. I completely get your anxiety. I hope you can try to enjoy some of this journey and that this is your rainbow baby.
I am Lauren. 35, DH is 36, and DS is 17 mos. we had a loss in October which has been completely overshadowing this whole experience.
How far along are you?
10 weeks on the dot. Past my loss date and really trying to focus on the good. This one just feels sticky. DH of course doesn't get my PGAL brain at all and get super annoyed with me.
How are you doing?
Doing pretty well right now! Still nauseous and more so at night but it's manageable. My brain still won't turn off tho. When I have a day where I feel fab I still check my boobs constantly to make sure they are still sore. #crazyPGALbrain
When is your next appointment?
It was today!!!! My very first appt was today and it was amazing and wonderful and I bawled when I saw that wonderful little person and that heartbeat! I also posted in the appts thread and the ultrasounds thread but I had to here too at the risk of being redundant because you all here seen my neurotic ads on here for weeks freaking out, lol. HB was 179 and I measured exactly 10 weeks. My new doctor is so incredible. He answered my word doc of questions without being annoyed. He was so fun and excited and he delivers 92% of his own patients so I am so pleased we made the move. Looking forward to taking this journey wth him.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
MIL is so annoying. I don't have Facebook. But I have Instagram. It is private and I know everyone on it. DS was fresh out of the shower Saturday night and decided to ride his oversized teddy bear from Costco's face naked. I took a pick that shows literally his upper body and legs only. Nothing inappropriate. No private areas showing at all and I made a joke in the title. He was nestled down in the Bears giant neck. She just text me to remove it because it is inviting predators and it's too sexual. The text was worded so rudely and was in her usual passive aggressive tone. Thanks for inferring that i am endangering my son and clearly don't know how to parent. DH just laughed as said just don't respond. Not my style boo.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
do you mean when not watching baby Einstein videos, hbo and Netflix kids programming and Cars for the 4000th time?? DH and I are pretty unimpressed with most network tv. Right now Scandal is back so I will dvr that. And I love Jane the Virgin too. Got into that when on ML. Other than that we do a lot of HGTV or Netflix, or HBO when they have good stuff. We really liked Westworld. We are currently watching Parks and Rec again for the 3rd time after just finishing the Office again for like the 5th. We like what we like and are stubborn. Or lame. Depends on how you look at it I guess. Lol

@dmbfan46835 I am so glad you had a good appointment today! I also hear you on toddler TV selection. My kids think the TV is solely for their entertainment, not mine or my husband's.
@littlebug2010 I am so glad you like the face wash! Bump boxes sound like so much fun! I wish you the best of luck on your glucose test, but I think it is lame that you have to take it so early.
@mjjc7709 I hope the bleed resolves itself sooner rather than later!
How far along are you? 10 weeks 6 days
How are you doing? Pretty good. I still am feeling gross most of the time. Plus I have been getting a lot of heartburn, so that is fun. I am glad I am able to post again since I was finally able to log in again after having mobile log in issues.
When is your next appointment? 2/15. I will am already excited/nervous for it.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My doppler stopped working last week, which is a bummer. I won't buy a new one because being able to feel movement shouldn't be TOO far in the future, but we will see.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch? I watch This is Us right now. H and I have been rewatching Friends and then I think we will move on to the Office since neither of us have watched that either.

How far along are you? 12 weeks
How are you doing? Still nauseous but better. I'm feeling more confident as I get closer to the second tri but then I have days where I can't believe this to be real.
When is your next appointment? Not til 16 weeks on 2/27!!!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH and I tested out the Doppler when he got home from his trip on Saturday. We couldn't find a heartbeat for like 15 minutes so we had to watch some YouTube videos and realized that we were in the wrong spot. Then we tried again and found it! It was such a relief. I've started telling like a few people here and there rather than lying but we're still not telling friends from back home and extended family for like another week or two. I don't mind talking about things in person but I get annoyed about constant texts since our families and friends live 2,000+ miles away.

How far along are you? 10 wks. Double digits!
How are you doing? Had a burst of energy like I said, so I took advantange of it and vacuumed (of all things!). My PGAL brain is still telling me that this isn't normal at 10 wks, but my sore boobs, afternoon nausea and aversion to food tell me otherwise. Internal struggle, always.
When is your next appointment? 2/8, right before my NT scan on 2/13.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've gotten my third migraine while pregnant today. I've only ever had one other in my life. I forget who it was in this thread who said they get them frequently. Whomever it was- any tips bedsides dimming the lights and using a cool compress over your eyes? Any help is appreciated!
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch? This Is Us (which I'm thankful for the weekly thread here!), and Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune like the old lady at heart that I am

@mjjc7709 they are no joke. Mine always starts with the squiggly lines in one eye then feels like I stared right into the flash of a camera. Luckily they've all happened when I've been at home and not at work. Have you found anything helpful? Also I mentioned before to @a2003tiger to check out the July BMB and their SCH thread. They have a lot of ladies who have them and have lots of info/support on there.
Let's all do a little intro, as a reminder and for those that weren't around when we did the first time!
I have 2 boys. Last January, I had an ectopic and lost one of my tubes.
How far along are you?
10+1
How are you doing?
I think my nausea has gotten worse in the past week. I'm exhausted yet have trouble sleeping. My bloating is out of control especially later in the day. I finally broke out the Bella Band because none of my pants really fit. I'm trying to hide my stomach for several more weeks, but it's getting challenging.
When is your next appointment?
I'm not sure. I got back to my OB on 2/24, but I'm waiting to hear from MFM about scheduling the NIPT.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Having a cold makes it that much more difficult to sleep. I wish I lived in a bubble and could avoid getting sick.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
This is Us and way too much reality crap.
A migraine is essentially your blood vessels restricting oxygen to your brain so the Tylenol helps with the pain and the coffee helps dialate the blood vessels to allow more blood to flow. The nap just allows your body to do its thing without getting any worse. I know for me if I don't treat it right away then I get a headache and start puking so I have to do something immediately or else I can't keep meds down.
Hopefully this helps!
ETA: my doctor prescribed me Magnesium Oxide that I take daily. I had been having all day nausea and puking daily. She mentioned that sometime throwing up a lot can decrease your magnesium levels and cause headaches or migraines. I haven't had one since starting the daily supplement!
Let's all do a little intro, as a reminder and for those that weren't around when we did the first time!
I'm Amanda, I'm 35 and have two kids. I had two losses in 2016, one being directly before this BFP. I found out I was as pregnant I never thought the ER whenever I had pneumonia.
How far along are you?
14 weeks!
How are you doing?
Still miserably nauseated. And add me to the club of having frequent headaches/occasional migraines. I had one start yesterday and was able to stop it with some caffeine water.
When is your next appointment?
A week from today with my OB. Still waiting on the MFM to schedule my first appointment with them.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
We found out this weekend that we're having a BOY! I'll post our cake below, because it was perfect for this rainbow baby.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
We watch Grey's Anatomy and This Is Us.

@littlebug2010, no worries, I was a little late I never posting yesterday.
@dmbfan46835, congrats on the milestone! And yay for a fantastic appointment!
@hupp0013, that stinks about the Doppler. We love This Is Us too!
@mokay19, yay for hearing that heartbeat at home. Such a good feeling!
@szwill86, yay for double digits! Try a little caffeine when you feel a headache coming on.
@MetsGirl18, having a cold while pregnant is miserable. I hope you get relief soon.

Caitlin, 29, always late to every post, prior stillborn and miscarriage.
How far along are you?
13 weeks
How are you doing?
A little better! These pregnancy hormones are seriously making me crazy though.
When is your next appointment?
Feb 15, and we should be able to find out the gender. Everyone thinks it will be a girl, but I am secretly hoping for another boy.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Super excited my all day nausea is now only 60% of the day nausea!!
I work full time and also started my own photography business last year. I've been too sick and exhausted lately to do both, but now that I am starting to feel better I am finally starting to schedule photo shoots again!!
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
walking dead, grey's anatomy, this is us, and impatiently waiting for the next season of game of thrones
@szwill86 I've tried a little coffee and naps. Those seemed to help a bit. One night I had a bad one so I just went to bed. It was hard falling asleep but it helped being in a dark room.
@a2003tiger your cake was so awesome! Congratulations on that baby boy of yours!
@ca17ra I am glad you are feeling a little better and that you are able to start photo sessions again!

How far along are you?
12 weeks 3 days
How are you doing?
okay, taking progesterone and doing daily injections of blood thinner
When is your next appointment?
Feb. 6th
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
Grey's and Jane the Virgin and Call the Midwife.
How are you doing? I had a really awful day yesterday at work- all work related/not baby stuff. I was so angry when I left and most of the evening. It took me a while to just decompress and let it go. Then I slept like garbage thinking over the day and this morning I woke up with a migraine. I'm a substitute teacher so I can turn down work to ever go back to that class and I'm off today, so I'm very thankful for that.
When is your next appointment? This afternoon.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: See above for my rant about yesterday.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?Walking Dead, Grey's, This is Us, The Bachelor, Game of Thrones. Scandal.
@nbkist Welcome, hope this your rainbow baby!!
@maebee87 I am sorry your work day was awful yesterday. I hope today goes better! I hope your appointment goes well today too!

I'm Sarah, 34 I had a loss at 12 weeks in 2014 and had a rainbow baby on 2015. He's now 20 months.
How far along are you?
11w 6d..... SO CLOSE!!!!
How are you doing?
Sick (hence my late post) MS has taken over and I am tired alllll the time. And PGAL brain is killing me this week I think because I am soooooo close.
When is your next appointment?
Feb 10th
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I am in the process of weaning DS. I have had an aversion to nursing the past few weeks. That along with MS and being dehydrated a few weeks ago, I decided to try it. We are on day 5, he is sleeping better (through the night, PTL!) But He still struggles to fall asleep without it. And he still asks for it a lot.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
Bubble Guppies, Daniel Tiger, Superwhy..... That's reality. If I manage a minute to myself, I like GMA (but i normally am headed to work then) and I like old school shows like Friends, Office, Gilmore Girls. My hubby is really into a new show called hunted, so we have been watching that together.
@MetsGirl18 I busted out my belly band too!!
@a2003tiger LOVE YOUR CAKE!! ( I think I said that on another post too)
@szwill86 Soryr you have had migraines. I have them constantly when not pregnant. I manage to avoid them pregnant. I told my OB i was going to keep having kids to avoid migraines.
Intro: I'm Christina (28). This is my second pregnancy. First pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at 15 weeks to Triploidy last April.
How far along are you?
12+3!
How are you doing?
Physically things are improving... I had a random re-show of morning sickness and vomiting late last week, but it seems to have calmed back down. Mentally I'm a wreck! I have been waiting almost 2 weeks now to get our results back from Panorama NIPT test.
When is your next appointment?
This Friday is my NT scan. This is the same scan where I discovered our baby wouldn't survive because of Triploidy last year. I'm extremely anxious and emotional about it. I am hoping to have our NIPT results back before the appointment so I know if I can calm down or not.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I have a "surprise" observation at school this coming Friday. My anxiety level is through the roof, not a good time for my supervisors to be coming in for a visit.
GTKY: What tv shows do you watch?
I haven't really been watching cable tv. I've been watching shows on Netflix or Hulu. I'm dying for The Mindy Project to come back in two weeks. I've been watching iZombie (surprisingly entertaining) and One Tree Hill (dont judge me haha).
