Well I'm glad I asked. I'll have to go in to get mine removed because they are a serious PITA to get off by myself, but at least I know beforehand though and I can get it taken care of! Nothing like trying to remove them at the hospital. Last time they had multiple instruments they used trying to get them off, but to no avail

Good luck @ChaoticWolf!! I was wondering who would be going next... but I feel like they are coming in multiples so I'd like to claim a spot this round too!!
Best of luck @ChaoticWolf , hope all goes well for you!
@Aussie45 i had to remove my jewelery but my fingers were so swollen that my wedding & engagement rings wouldnt move for weeks before giving birth. I had worried that they might cut them off when i had to have an emergency section but they just taped over them for me instead.
Edit Goodluck @ChaoticWolf ! I hope everything goes smoothly
My post vanished twice! My water broke at about 11:30 last night without contractions and I was admitted to the hospital about 1am. (No baby yet)
Does anyone know how to post a picture that can be erased? Or if not possible is there a site I can link to so I can show the baby in a limited way? (I have permission to share a photo for a shorter time)
Goodluck @blush64!!! Yay!! I've posted pictures on here, then just deleted them after a couple hours for one and a couple days for another. You just "edit" your comment and backspace the picture. At the bottom of the screen should show a tiny thumbnail with an "X" in the upper right corner. Just click that X and the picture gets edited out.... I'm on mobile though so I'm not sure about doing it from an actual computer.
Yay GL @blush64! You can definitely get rid of a picture just by deleting it from your post before the month to edit is up. I'm probably going to do the same with my baby.
@blush64 best of luck, hope everything goes well for you. I keep thinking about you & the wonderful gift you are giving to your family & the admiration i have for you & the strength it must take! Xxx
@GlitterDragon I just wanted to say hi! And say that I hope your RCS went smoothly. I didn't know if you'd see a PM, but I hope all is well, thinking of you!!!

@concreteangell @kswiger06 aww that's very sweet thanks guys! Everything went well and Max is doing great Ive been too tired to update in the birth announcements but thank you for thinking of me!
@Aussie45 definitely take out piercings ahead of time. I had taken out both belly rings weeks ago and kept meaning to take out the one below the belt, but I forgot (oopsy) so cue DH trying to unscrew the damn thing when I was dilated 6cm and contracting. Not fun! I also have a microderm a few inches above my belly button that I can't take out, they said it was high enough that they'd just tape over it in the event of a CS.
Congrats @GlitterDragon!! I'm glad all went well and you're resting, I love the name Max!
Best of luck @ChaoticWolf ! We're pulling for you!!
I feel like a total loser with all this piercing talk. I have my ears pierced. And had my belly button done on senior trip and took it out when it got infected when I was like 20.
I am having a planned c/s and asked specifically about earrings at my pre op appt. They said I could keep them in. but they are easy to take out and they aren't expensive. I would definitely leave any expensive or sentimental jewelery at home.

Congratulations to all the other new moms! My phone took a tumble after much baby picturing and I couldn't use the touch screen. Looking forward to reading more labor stories!
@Xstatic3333 my thoughts exactly! I took mine out really early. And it's the only place I can see angry red stretch marks. It's actually pretty painful.
