  • Yes and no I guess. We pulled the goalie after I had been spinning my wheels for a few months trying to find a new job- one cycle later I landed a sweet contract gig so we decided to put the goalie back in for a few months so I could time the  contract ending to a mat leave starting but I was already KU sooooooo.

  • Nope. All of my pregnancies were very planned with charting/temping/timed sex. Very romantic. ;)

  • Congrats on your surprise!

Ours was a surprise too. I'd had 4 miscarriages in the past two years and had some blood work to find the issues - long story short, my doctor told me that my first baby was a medical miracle because I have a genetic disorder that should leave me infertile. So, my husband and I stopped "trying" and just had a whole bunch of unprotected fun - since nothing was going to happen, right? - and surprise! The first time we stopped trying and worrying about it, I got pregnant. NOT planned at all!

  • Yes!! We were sure we wanted 2 but thought we were probably done afternoon that. With both of the first 2 we tried for a year with no success and then eventually got pregnant after fertility treatment. I honestly didn't think it was possible (or at least extremely unlikely) that I could get pregnant without fertility treatment, but we decided if we ever did have a third we would be fine with it, so I didn't go on any birth control. Unprotected sex once in December and that's all it took. I'm still in shock and trying to figure out how to get through the next couple of months of nauesea while watching two little ones and working a stressful job. We are happy but I think I'll have an easier time feeling excited once the 1st tri is over! Thank so much for this thread.....it's super helpful to know there are others in the same position. I honestly NEVER thought I would have surprise pregnancy!
