Low amniotic fluid

my Dr. called yesterday to say my amniotic fluid was on "the low end of normal" at a 9.1cm. I was told to drink a ton a water and come back for a repeat scan next week. Anyone else had an issue with this before? I heard swimming can help increase AFI and drinking water but is there anything else I can do?

Not sure what to advise, I got the opposite, got told I have a teeny bit more than usual, so I need to stop eating so much sugar.  Logic would dictate that you might want to do the opposite (maybe lots of fruits, it has fluid too), but this is just a guess... Thinking of you !
