Weekend Chatter 1/28

it is 5 AM and this pregnancy insomnia is killing me. I fall asleep great but if I get woken up at all I cannot fall back into a good sleep.  So figured I would kick off the weekend thread super early.

    @FSUNole31 how fun! My husband and I are buying the Discover Disney pass this weekend to have four days in Disney with my son before the baby comes. We use to have the year pass and would go all the time. And breakfast with the princesses?! Your daughter is going to lose it !! Lol what an exciting weekend for you guys. Have fun!! 


    I've been up since 5am with my WIDE awake son. Even tough we kept him up till 9 (usually goes to sleep at 7:30-8) in hopes that we could all sleep in till 6:30-7. Ugh this kid just won't sleep past 5:30. I miss sleeping in!

    The insomnia sucks. My 3 yo is sound asleep and the dog and I have been up since 4.

    @KB00 we have annual passes and we love it!!  I hope you have a great time visiting for your lotto getaway before baby!

    @FSUNole31 the insomnia is awful.  I had it all of first tri, and it just started to go away, except now DS gave me his head cold and I keep waking up because I am so congested I can't breath.

    @KB00 with DS, I often find the later I keep him up, the earlier he gets up in the morning.  I have given up on trying to get him to sleep in.

    we are doing dinner tonight with a bunch of friends so I need to make something for dessert, and one of the sides for dinner.

    Woke up every hour on the hour last night, DS got up at 6am and DH is trying to sleep off night shift. I think it is time to go out...somewhere. I dislike cold weather with a toddler. We have limited cheap options. The library it is.

    Grocery shopping today. Tonight I have to go to a banquet for work that's an hour and a half away and starts at 7pm. I'll be napping before. Tomorrow is going to just be a real low key day around the house. Depending on how late I get home tonight we might go out to breakfast tomorrow. I've been craving creeps

    We're having the first contractor come out to quote us on the bathroom remodel. We have one last set of boxes upstairs to go through and unpack, so hopefully we'll tackle that

    I'm going to the gym this morning to do a class with some friends! Hopefully it's not too intense. Then DH and I are going on a lunch date. I'm babysitting tonight, as usual, then tomorrow we have no plans! Yay!

    @JAGinMI I happened into Target yesterday and saw this.  Too bad their in store maternity selection is pretty crappy.  I managed to get 1 shirt.  They also had 15% off nursing bras, not that anyone needs those quite yet.

    I'm so interested to see how this plays out.  Almost as much as the actual game, almost.  I love Sweetwater and Sam Adams!

    Went to Target and bought more baby clothes and scored some clearance goodies for the older girls. Now I'm being lazy. Tomorrow I'm going to prime the nursery so next weekend we can paint. (Yay). 

    @FSUNole31 I'm completely jealous of your weekend.

    DH and I went out for dinner and to see lalaland Friday night while dd was at my parents' house, then we spent the night there and celebrated my mom's birthday today. We had to leave early to beat the snow home, but that was ok. Now dh is working on painting the nursery and dd is unpacking our suitcase from last night all over the floor. I don't even care enough to stop her.
