The other night I ate all of DSS#2's sour gummy worms that he got for his birthday
Also, this is more of a UO, but I side eye people who let their kids play on the phone or watch videos on the phone while they are eating dinner (at a restaurant or at home). #sorry
@KirstinH88 I have been that mom a couple of times. I must admit that I totally used to judge that as well. And then my daughter came along and there is NOTHING that will get her to sit calmly while out (I blame her daddy's ADD). And I need to occasionally see people outside of my house. So, during a few extreme occasions I have put a show on for her so I could have a meaningful adult conversation. Perhaps that is more of a SAHM desperation though.

@mrsstuessy I'm totally not hating, I hope you didn't take it that way. One of my close friends and I go out to lunch occasionally and she always gives her daughter the phone too. I mean, it definitely allows us to catch up and talk. I guess it's just kind of odd to me because I don't do that with my kids but I definitely get the reason behind doing it.
@KirstinH88 No, I wasn't taking to that way at all. I get it. We all have those little things. Just sharing my point of view. Sometimes a mom has to do what a mom has to do. And all kids are different too. So, what works for yours might not work for mine and the other way around. Kids are tricky like that.

I completely agree while out at dinner at a restaurant. However, at home we watch Super Why or ABC Galaxy during dinner. Its the only way we get DS to sit and eat. They say you eat more when you're in front of the tv, so its our way to get him to eat! He's super picky and skinny!!!
My confession is I parked in a handicapped parking space last night after work to grab DS some milk. Hey, it was only 5 min
@mama5181 I don't blame you! Laundry is getting hard! Not only carrying the baskets up and down the stairs (at some point soon that won't even be safe anymore!) but also the constant bending over to move the laundry from one side to the other. I was NOT happy about doing it today!
@Mama5181@BabyBlake042017 Yeah, I've been banned from carrying the laundry baskets up and down the stairs because that's how I fell a month or so ago. I should use the constant bending over as an excuse!! It's definitely harder than it used to be!
@Mama5181 That is basically what has happened with the cooking situation in our house. I just do not care anymore. So, I do sandwiches, hotdogs, canned soup, box mac and cheese, raw fruits or veggies and frozen stuff out of the freezer. If someone wants something more homemade they can make it themselves. And, I don't even feel bad about this. I am dealing with depression, (pretty much) taking care of the whole house in every other way, caring for DD1 every day and my horribly spoiled 1 year old nephew many days. Oh, and I am exhausted growing a human and in so much pain every day that I am maxed out.
I guess that was my FFFC.

I just ran out of my last little container of my most favorite Mary Kate and Ashley (I know, lol) loose powder shimmer dust. I've literally had a stash of them since middle school. I've been using it as blush since like 1998. I don't know what to do with my life now! Now everyone will know I don't really have that pregnancy glow! Haha! Not much of a confession, but slightly embarrassing to admit my makeup routine has been the same for like 20 years
@mrsstuessy the thing I DO NOT care to do at all anymore is grocery shop... which directly plays in to cooking dinner as well haha. I am not interested in putting any effort in at all in the kitchen.
I've stopped doing laundry and I'm letting DH do it all. No shame whatsoever.
My chiro told me yesterday to avoid laundry and dishes. Granted, I have a pretty hurt back at the moment, but I'm pretty sure she meant it for all pregnant women

I have been "going to bed" early all week to avoid being touched, and so I can watch whatever crap I want on youtube/netflix on my phone. DH is so sweet, and wants to let me stretch out on the couch after DS goes to bed, but he then wants to cuddle. I love him, but really I am just too uncomfortable to be cuddled right now. Especially after being touched by DS from the minute I get home, to the minute he goes to bed. (I know this is worse for SAHM's.)
