Since any time I've done the internals in my past pregnancies it's hurt and hasn't corresponded to any kind of labor action, all things considered I'd rather just keep my pants on by the end (with the exception of the strep b test - forgot about that little joy), but to each their own. It drives my mother insane that I don't have the dr's check!
Forgot to update about my appointment on Tuesday. I was able to ask my list of questions. The midwife was really excited I had a whole checklist of questions. I am still on the fence about water birth, but I think I will sign the paper and use one of the water birth rooms so it is an option. She explained the papers I will need to sign to decline any newborn procedures (which we will decline the eye ointment). She also explained how I can decline continuous EFM (which I think there are a few really dumb reasons hospital protocol says continuous monitoring) and she seemed totally ok with me making that decision. The midwives are super supportive of eating during labor, so no problems there. Even thought it is a baby friendly hospital they are more than happy to take your baby at night so you can get some rest, so hooray to that. And I asked her when they recommend STMs coming to the hospital and if it is different than FTMs. The only disappointing answer was being completely against delivering breach babies. So, I might look into going to someone else probably in a different state if that was an issue. But, baby girl has her head down and she seems pretty comfy there, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I can't understand how she can gently feel my belly for 4 seconds and tell me that baby is head down. How do they know that? I mean, I can tell she is head down, but I can feel her feet in my ribs. And then I got the rhogam shot. I got it in my arm last time and it hurt SOOOOOO bad. It is the worst shot ever. So, I asked if she could do it in my butt this time. The nurse acted like I was insane. She said no one ever asks for that. But, it was such a good decision. It still hurt because it takes such a long to inject all the stuff in. The nurse explained there is more than in a normal vaccine so it takes longer. Anyway, ladies. If you have the choice... GET IT IN YOUR BUTT!

Appointment went fine. I LOVED talking to the nurse practitioner instead of the doctor. She was so patient and listened to everything. She said I'm measuring fine despite that I feel small. I'm exactly where I should be. This baby has always been right in the middle. I also got the tdap today. And I am in fact starting two weeks now, so I'll go in at 30.
The glucose went fine. I got it down, though it took a full five minutes. I only felt a little gross and shaky. But I'm really tired now. No news is good news and if I don't hear anything by Monday it means I passed.
Yeah the internal is not very predictive of labor. I was 3cm dilated for about 6 weeks with my 1st. I had no idea. When the midwife asked to check, I was like sure go on in. It freaked me out when she told me that but, I went 40w4d with no issue.
@MrsStuessy, I've always been told butt is standard for Rhogam. I've had it now 7 times and always in the butt. But, yes, I agree it hurts! My butt was sore all last night.
@MWoodside I guess it just depends on where you go. With DD1 I went to an OB and they gave it to me in the arm, without even given the option of the butt. This time I am with a Midwife and I think she would have just given it to me in the arm if I hadn't asked specifically.

Appointment today went well. I am going to stay at my current office, as it's just easier for me, and switch doctors. Also scheduled all my appointments out through my due date - 32 weeks, 34 weeks, then weekly from 36-40
@carpediem55 - My anatomy scan was awful too! I can't even figure out where the baby is in the stills we got. There is one picture where the baby looks like a devil monster! That was the same visit where we learned the placenta had implanted low and my doctor said the "c" word. I got in the car after the appointment and ugly cried for like 20 minutes.
I will try to be short as I already mentioned something on the FB page. Due to being high risk I have gone every 2 weeks since my first appointment at 10 weeks. I have been going weekly since 28 weeks and will continue until the end, unless they move to twice a week. I had an appointment on Friday where I found out I'm measuring 6 weeks ahead so I will be having an ultrasound soon to check my fluids, position of baby, and estimated fetal weight. I was also told I will be induced due to high BP so I'm a little bit freaking out about that. No more April baby
My pregnancy is different than the "normal", but "normal" at my office is monthly until 28 weeks, biweekly until 36 weeks, and weekly after that.
