Re: Appointments 1/23
I'm also expecting the dreaded PAP smear. Hopefully we can do that last so H can leave after the ultrasound and not be subjected to my secret yearly torture.

They did not do an ultrasound like I thought they would. They wanted to wait until I am 9 weeks pregnant so I will be getting it done next Monday. SO came with and asked a bunch of questions and it was great having him be a part of it.
I also got my Pap smear done which was totally uncomfortable but I'm happy it's over with for now.
@Msashley2010 I'm sorry you have to wait too!!

Im dreading the pap my husband will be with me and last time I was PG with my son, the doctor made random small talk with him while she was preforming the pap, hoping that doesn't happen again!

@Sugargirl1019 DH was in mine for the vaginal exam... a little weird lol
question...
i have to have it done at a radiology center because my insurance doesn't cover in office ultrasounds. They told me I can't have family come back with me, so I told my husband that it's kinda pointless to come.
Anyone else in the same boat? Now I'm nervous if something bad comes of it I won't have anyone with me after. Also, will the tech even show me anything? My dr said their dr will review and then my dr will go over everything with me at my appt the following week. Never had this before I always got the ultrasound in office.
In my experience though, if the tech is talking to you and explaining what they're doing plus showing you the screen, it's good.

Little bean measured 5+6 & had a strong beat of 107!! (90-110 is normal for that early) So I'm feeling WAY better about things. My DD measured consistently 4 days behind even tho I knew my O date so I'm good with this LO being 2 days behind...to me that's on track!
Next appt is 2/1 for my official dating US etc.

Its not like I was saying I was jealous that people were having potential issues. That's lame. I get things can be misconstrued on the internet but come on.
Next Thursday we should have our first ultrasound! I cannot wait to see our LO. I was hoping they would let us hear the heartbeat at the last appointment but they didn't do that so...

I think all of us have a bit of anxiety until we get to get to see our little ones and hear their heartbeats. I remember With DD i used to get so nervous between appointments hoping that she still had a heartbeat. I was sooooo paranoid.
A little back info: on Monday December 12 I took a test (first response) it was negative, so I took another test (first response) still very negative on Wednesday the 14th, then on Friday the 16th I took a test (Walmart 88 cent) that was Very dark positive as dark as the controls line.
So here in my confusion I got a positive when I was supposedly 2w4d?! That seems scientifically impossible. Anyone have any experience with this. Maybe I'm over thinking and should just go with the flow. From breastfeeding my cycles had been wonky so i didn't know what to expect my last period was November 6th.
I hope this makes sense, and maybe someone has some insight. It's to late to call my midwife back tonight or I would. I was just talking about it with my sister and she pointed out that I got a very early positive pee stick. Maybe I'm over thinking it but I'm worried maybe baby isn't growing right or something. Also mobile so sorry if punctuation, spelling or grammar is bad.
They will be putting me under tomorrow to inject methotextrate directly into the sac and send me home to finish out the miscarriage over the next 2 weeks. After 3 miscarriages in 2 years just to get a sticky baby that I'm forced to terminate to save my life is just horribly, horribly unfair.
