@Texafornian I haven't had an ectopic pregnancy, but I have had a lot lower back pain, which I knew to expect because I have a backwards tilted uterus, and it's continuously un-tilting, until about 12-13 weeks when it will finally have corrected itself. There are a ton of reasons for lower-back pain, so try not to worry too much!
Anyone have any success with the nausea medication Diclegis? I've read online it's the only medication approved for pregnancy, class A. My nausea is getting bad. The only full meal I can tolerate is breakfast. I'm eating ginger preggy drops all day and also tried sea bands..
@LaceyC1020 diclegis worked wonders for me during my last PG! I was able to exist without wanting to die. I was also able to eat other things besides mashed potatoes.
@ashley2824 I took a pill today and it knocked me out. I slept for 2 hours and was so groggy. It's a bummer it's a sleeping pill because I can't take it when I'm working. Did you only take it at night? Did that help through the day?
@wellhithen I took them at night. I think I was up to 2 at night. And the nighttime doses definitely helped throughout the day. It takes a little while for your body to get used to, but the tiredness eventually goes away. The first week was rough though. Also a side note, I think I remember I weaned off of it, didn't stop cold turkey. And it took a little while for it to start working, so starting and stopping won't be as effective as taking it daily.
Anyone had an ectopic before with back pain? Where was the back pain localized? Like tailbone level (sciatic type), more lower back like in the curve etc? Ive felt like I've had a bit of sciatic pain since yesterday...kind of comes and goes. Nothing not manageable but it got me thinking! Have ultrasound tomorrow at 6+2 as I had brown spotting for a heartbeat last Thursday and they're checking me for peace of mind for that ...
@Texafornian When I had an Ectopic, I don't remember back pain. At least not pronounced pain. I had a lot of cramping basically where you would expect it (around the affected tube). It was very strong and very sudden. I also had vomiting- after awhile, I couldn't stand up straight. I also had a lot of brown spotting.
For anyone experiencing morning sickness, try eating apples! My co-worker mentioned the other day that they help nausea. I was skeptical, but there must be something magical in apples because they really are helping me. Just thought I'd pass it along.

I hope it isn't an Ectopic- good luck tomorrow.
