How far along are you? 30 weeks

How big is baby? Zucchini

Team Blue, Pink, Green? Blue

Appointments this week? None for 2 more weeks

Symptoms? All those fun third trimester symptoms. Heartburn, constantly peeing, wondering how much larger I can get, etc.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Still getting our place ready to sell so all our energy is on that.

Rants/Raves/Questions: We are so close to getting our place on the market and buying a house!! I'm so excited!

GTKY: Do you have an animal species that you absolutely love? Doesn't have to be a pet type. I have always been in love with orcas and dolphins. I even got dolphin as my patronus on Pottermore!

How far along are you? 26 weeks

How big is baby? kale, it doesn't make a lot of sense since kale has so much volume!

Appointments this week? nope

Symptoms? my Braxton Hicks contractions are uncomfortable and it kept me awake for 2 nights. I don't remember it being that bad for the first.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? I'm spring cleaning my things and selling stuff on poshmark and offer up. Decluttering in general is just part of my nesting.

GTKY: Do you have an animal species that you absolutely love? Doesn't have to be a pet type. i like watching birds that visit the bird feeder and hummingbirds

How big is baby? Acorn squash or a gallon of milk. Again, those are not the same size.

Appointments this week? Nada for a few weeks

Symptoms? There is a little creature inside kicking the bejesus out of me. Never ending heartburn (Seriously. I now need to take Zantac, Pepsid, and Tums everyday to even try to keep it under control. It's a nightmare.) Insomnia.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Still working out logistics for our move.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Nah.

GTKY: Do you have an animal species that you absolutely love? Doesn't have to be a pet type. I've always been a cat person. We currently have two, but we might get a kitten this summer so DD can have a cat that actually lets her pet it.

My DH is annoying today. He doesn't want to paint bc "I only have one day off this week and I don't want to spend it painting" yet he will go work on equipment in the barn. So pretty much he should have just said "the shit that is important to you isn't to me and I don't wanna"

Appointments this week? 2 today actually, one with my high risk dr, and my regular OB appt

Symptoms? still really just sciatic nerve pain

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We're remodeling our whole upstairs for my older daughters new room so the baby can move in her current room. My H and FIL did a lot more painting/cleaning up there and I did some organizing and threw a bunch of stuff out.

Rants/Raves/Questions: 14 more weeks or less of the GD diet. I think my body is getting more used to it because I don't feel like I'm starving all the time anymore.

Appointments this week? 1 hours glucose on Thursday. Eek, I'm nervous. I had GD last time I was pregnant.

Symptoms? Same... heartburn, and my bones and joints ache.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Signed up for Amazon subscription for diapers and wipes. 2u2 means we will burn through diapers!

Rants/Raves/Questions: DH did not get layed off last week. YAY! One less thing to worry about now.

GTKY: Do you have an animal species that you absolutely love? Doesn't have to be a pet type. I love dogs. We only have one, which is more than enough, but every time I see a dog who needs adopted on TV or online, I want to get it!

How big is baby? Eggplant

Appointments this week? I have a growth scan tomorrow since I'm measuring ahead again, and dr appt with my ob to review lab results from last week and the scan

Symptoms? Sciatic nerve and having a hard time moving around without looking ridiculous lol

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Nothing...but I'm getting into full blown nesting mode so I've been setting dates on when things need to be done by over the next few weeks.

How far along are you? 27 weeks. Flew by compared to last time, but I've all of a sudden gotten insane nesting instincts and beyond the normal excitement about meeting baby to BEING READY.

How big is baby? Apparently a rutabaga?

Team Blue, Pink, Green? Pink! I think we've settled on the first name, and now we're just trying to land on a middle. Finally!!!

Appointments this week? Not until Feb 1 for the infamous GD test. Last time I crashed so hard after drinking the sugar water and had to stay home for the day, I hope it doesn't happen again.

Symptoms? All of it

Heartburn, nosebleeds, tailbone pain, cankles, etc etc etc

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Major nesting - cleared out my closet, DH's closet and DD's closet, bought DD her new "Big girl" car seat to get her ready for baby (BRU trade in event FTW!), scheduled the "painters" (aka DH and my dad) to paint baby's room in a few weeks.

Rants/Raves/Questions: The lack of focus at work is killing me. My job last time around was not as demanding, and I was in a very private office at the end of the hall so I could spend all day on The Bump and the registry and planning etc etc etc. This time around I'm a lot more visible and my desktop can still be seen from the hall. I don't want to focus, I just want to look at onesies!

GTKY: Do you have an animal species that you absolutely love? Doesn't have to be a pet type. Marine mammals, OF COURSE. How can you not love them??
