When can I hear the heartbeat on a doppler?

Hi,

I can't remember when you can hear the heartbeat on a doppler.  I have an appt. tomorrow and I am hoping to hear it.  I am 11 weeks right now. I have a doppler at home, but it is not as good as the docs.  So far I haven't been able to hear it on my own.  I am trying not to worry about that, b/c I know it might be too early! =)  Hopefully all is well in my uterus.

    You might be able to hear it tomorrow, but maybe not.  Some docs won't try until 12 weeks.  Good luck!

    i had a similar post earlier today- i was not able to hear mine last friday at 10weeks, 1 day- and the doc said we should def hear it by my next appt at 14 weeks- so not sure if you will be able to hear it or not! some ppl do and get lucky though!

    My OB wouldn't even try at my last appointment at 12 weeks, he said it's better to wait another 4 weeks.  But I have a doppler at home and have been hearing it since 10 weeks so I was ok with the waiting.  GL!

    My dr couldn't find it on my stomach at my 12 weeks appointment. ?She said that my uterus was tilted back. ?She was able to find it vaginally though. ?Hope you get to hear it!

    I also have appt tomorrow The doc said he was going to try and hear the heartbeat too but I have been having alot of cramping so I'm praying I will be able to hear it tomorrow !!! GL!! Hope to share updates tomorrow
