    I get it's too early for a lot. I was throwing it out there to see if there was enough interest, it may not be for some. I am still very active in my other mom board from last year. I have had a great experience with it, we are tight group still.

    I understand this board literally was created this week so we don't know each other and the privacy, totally get. It can be created at any point and you join if you want. Also I know once the fb group happens, activity will drop off of here, that's what I see happens. I don't want anyone to feel pressured into joining it or feeling like if they don't join, nobody will answer questions, etc.

    Guess I should have created a poll instead and then you gals say when you may want to join whenever the group was created. We have some where it doesn't matter and some where you want to wait. I only like it because it's faster/easier but that's just me. I didn't join my last fb group until beginning of 3rd tri, I think I didn't know there was an fb group.

    I'm in FB spin off groups from Bump boards with DD1 and DD2. I'd love to join one for this pregnancy. FB groups are a much easier way to check in and be active on mobile compared to the Bump. Both of my other groups started before 2nd trimester and both groups are very close knit.

    I would join. I joined a bump group on fb for my July 2014 baby and we're all still very close! It's easier for me to use the fb app.

    I am for it (at any point), I am still part of the FB group from when my ds was born several years ago. We have about 150 members and are actually really close, over the years many of us have actually met. I understand the idea of wanting to get to know each other a little more but at what point do you say "I know these ladies well enough"? At the end of the day, if someone is going to be a creeper, it's not going to matter in the slightest if we post in here or in a FB group.

    I agree it is way too early for a FB group. If you make one now, that group will likely stop posting here and won't be apart of the group that stays. I agree with a PP, I wouldn't want to join that group later on. I would probably rather see another FB group made that had all the ladies I have made a relationship with.

    I would join! I am in a group for my May 2015 babe and we are seriously the closest group. Also, Facebook is sooooo much easier than the bump app.

    Facebook is a much easier format to follow for me personally. I'm just getting used to this though.

    Wow @sugarpixxie2 no reason to get all rude. It was just an idea to create one specifically with people from the bump. Yikes, apparently bad thought.

    @sugarpixxie2 uh yea pretty much telling me to go somewhere else is rude. All you had to say was someone created a fb group. All I needed to know so I won't create another one. I didn't want to create more than one group so I was asking.

    I am happy to join a Facebook group at anytime. Facebook is a lot easier to nagivate then the bump app, for me. I think the Facebook group will help us to get to know each other.

    @satuttle1014 although you were the OP I was not specifically telling you to go somewhere else.   There was a whole thread of people having a conversation and I have to scroll pretty far up to see the last time you commented on this thread.   If people are saying they prefer facebook then they should use it.... sounds logical.

    @sugarpixxie2 I'm not picking a fight, just calling you out on the tone. Don't care for it. Just want a board where I can ask a question w/o being in high school.

    I made the post to get an idea of who wanted a fb group, when they may want to join or not, etc. I didn't know if anybody would be interested, that's why I asked.

    Hi ladies! I'm not sure if one did eventually get started or not, it looks like it's been kind of a controversial topic? I started one a few days ago, and would love to have anyone who is interested in joining. Totally understand those who want to wait, but I joined my pregnancy group when I was about 5 weeks pregnant with my first, and it was a complete lifesaver. That group is still very close and active even though it's been more than a year now. The September 2017 Facebook group is a secret group since I know many people don't announce this early - that way no one can see that you're part of a pregnancy group (like you can with a closed/public group).

    If you're interested in joining, you can add me on Facebook (Katie Hooper - www.facebook.com/khooprx) and send me a message (you're welcome to unfriend me after I add you, promise I won't be offended!), or leave me your email address and I can add you that way. Definitely don't want to step on any toes, so if satuttle1014 would be interested in being co-admin since this was your original thread, that would be awesome. Hope this is helpful for anyone who is looking for a group. If one already got started here and I just missed it, please forgive me and ignore this!
