Watching This is Us and hearing her complain about having 3 babies... I know it's hard to deal with a surprise like that, but give me all the babies, the financial difficulties, the pregnancy problems... I would be so grateful. And I'm sure if this was real life she would feel so bad later losing the third, but man. I think that was more rough than the rest. Also, the Subaru commercial where they say, "When you realize your baby isn't a baby anymore..." I know what they meant, but there is too much of this stuff on tv that I just need to watch movies so I know the content.

@STP128 had to swear off tv for a while after seeing repeated commercials for the next episode where Jack says, "I love you being pregnant," or whatever. I was fine the first one or two times. I don't think I can handle the next episode.

@NYTino24, @SP128, @Uhlease13, @pumpkin0913 Might seem crazy but I actually cancelled cable 1 week after the loss because of all of the pg commercials. And, actually I don't really miss it. I am a bit extreme though because I also deactivated my facebook and instagram to shield myself. Perhaps I should have learned some basic coping mechanisms. Ugh.

@justsuzie Nope, not extreme. FB is brutal. I feel like I'm a glutton for punishment. Even though it stings, I find myself wondering about couples who have been together for awhile to see if they are "next." I've also known to try to spot bumps in people I know. Again, I'm a glutton for punishment.

However, the wind gets knocked out of me when a TW comes out of the blue and I'm not trying to see it.

@NYTino24 - I've been wanting to watch that show but I could never bring myself to watch it because I was scared it would be too heavy for me. TTC was stressful for me and then my CP was sad. Right now I feel I'm starting over and actually not stressed so I don't want anything that may trigger sadness.

@justsuzie I went off FB for a few days before the MC finished. I realized then that having to keep it inside was making me feel terrible. Once I put it out there, I felt instantly better. No one said anything for a few hours, but then I started getting likes and then private messages and replies once people gathered their thoughts enough. I stopped feeling alone and started coping. Some people are still checking in with me there via messenger and text. It has been good for some of the women who have had losses to be able to share with me publicly or privately to be able to talk about theirs too, even if it does stir things up for them. It's just a personal choice, and I definitely have clicked "see less of _" ads or unfollowed some people for the time being.

Call me crazy, I lost multiples and I am still obsessed with This Is Us. I have cried every single episode for one reason or another but I think it is so well done and such a feel good show compared to some of the other crap on TV. I can see why it's a big trigger for the TTCAL community but for some reason I'm hooked.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe. I'm right there with you on This Is Us. I love the show and cry most episodes but I just think it's a great show. I can understand the triggers but I still love it.
