How big is baby? Lime

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope

Any new symptoms or changes? A pain below my ribs which I'm guessing is heartburn. I've been taking Mylanta for it after dinner and it helps some. Laying on my side at night makes it worse. Otherwise nothing else is new.

GTKY: If you won an unlimited shopping spree to a non-maternity clothing store, which clothing store would you choose and why? (Can be online or brick & mortar) Because my wardrobe was 95% LOFT before I became a mom, I'll say there. Although I rarely go shopping for clothes anymore. I honestly don't even know what clothing trends are anymore or my sizes now.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope! Not until February. I have to travel quite a bit to get to my midwife so she didn't schedule me again until 14 weeks.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea seems to be gone! It was replaced by headaches though. Ugh.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We got 12 inches of snow (not typical for here) on Saturday and my work was closed Monday and Tuesday. We get Friday and Monday off as a holiday. So this has only been a 2 day work week! Woo Hoo! Hello 4 day weekend!

For some reason this is so hard! I guess because I normally can't spend a lot on myself for clothes, so I just can't even imagine where I'd shop if it was free. lol. Maybe Loft? I do really like their clothes and their fit is really good for me. I'm very short, only 5 feet, and their petite sizes usually work well for me.

Insomnia and I feel cramping at night. With DS I slept all of the time. But with this one I am tired all day then I can't sleep. Frustrating.

Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling very bloated, and nausea is still going in/out. This morning, even though i had a solid 7 hours of sleep, I'm exhausted!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Told one of my pilate instructors i was 9 weeks. With all my bloating, I look like i'm showing, but it's due to bloat and constipation. I need her to go easy on my core area...

Also, I remember being this far along last time and being all like "how can't anyone else tell I'm pregnant (due to bloat)". After the pregnancy was all done, I looked back at my Bump pictures and was like "wow, I wasn't showing at all!" I bet you'll feel the same someday looking back.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope

Rants/Raves/Questions? More like, any way to assuage my worry here. So everything looks fine with the ultrasound this week (yay!). I was told I'd be having monthly doctor appointments until the last month, when it would go up to one a week. I've known too many women with fertility issues and miscarriages. My stupid question is, how do you know everything's still ok between appointments? Especially if the second trimester is basically alleged to be symptom-free- is it just that your body keeps expanding and sooner or later you feel kicking? Maybe part of the paranoia here is I don't want to have to go back and tell everyone about a loss. I intend to tell my closest friends and family about this pregnancy shortly but I have this inexplicable paranoia that things aren't going to work out. What the heck is wrong with me?

I love their clothes and have been wearing mostly their stuff for a few years now. If you shop in store the stylists pick other stuff out for you, and often I've ended up purchasing things they suggest rather than what I picked out myself. Some people might find it annoying but I feel I need the fashion assistance.

@DeansGirl14 You just need to have faith that everything is ok. Think positive! I had a miscarriage with my first with no symptoms of one plus I had pregnancy symptoms still. At 7W 5D, I had an ultrasound and everything was great. At 11W 4D they couldn't find a heartbeat. Measurements said the heart stopped at 8W. My second pregnancy, I asked to go in an extra time during my first trimester because I was so stressed. This time I am not going to do that. You have no control over these things. I am planning to enjoy my pregnancy as long as I can and have faith the LO is ok. As I type, I am considering about deleting this because I don't want to stress you out. I guess I had no idea that it could happen like that and the shock of it all was horrible. I was told that it was rare for it to happen that way and less than a 1% chance for it to happen like that a second time.

Upcoming appointments this week? Today at 1pm for my 1st appt. Going during my lunch break and it's just down the street from work.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is high right now, and I'm even more tired. I have no appetite and I lost 1 lb from last week.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I just want to sleep. Sleep at my work desk, sleep on the couch, sleep anywhere! Oh and can I vomit already please?

(Can be online or brick & mortar) There's a local boutique in town that I love called MOMNI. They have great finds for every size so my current size 6/8 self can potentially where larger items when I expand later in pregnancy because they have items in multiple sizes.

Any new symptoms or changes? my symptoms are starting to subside a little bit, thankfully.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I could go on and on about this one! Ughhhhh... all the midwifery & obgyn practices in southern AZ just don't fit my needs! It takes 4 weeks to get an appointment with wild hours, you ALWAYS get referred to other places for ultrasounds and their appointment dates are far off, hospitals are all in the same place-- 40-60min from where we stay-- (WHY), people look at you strange because you aren't overbearing with your friendliness (I'M PREGNANT, GET AWAY FROM ME)... I just want to go back to my old practice in GA. You don't know what you have until it's gone :'( I feel like I might as well just provide my own maternal care and birth this baby at home.
