@OperaSingerMommy I like those, but MAN they look huge. (I know, probably anything with a 3rd row IS) Plus, I'm trying to find something not over 40K if at all possible, but I may lease, since I HARDLY drive anywhere but work.
I'm thinking maybe a 4runner? That might be my closest bet. I don't love Toyotas. I LOVE Nissans. I'm so sad. They just got rid of the Xterra and didn't even replace it, so it goes from one size to the next, and it's a huge size difference.
If you love Nissans, you can get the Rogue with the family package- it has a third row. I didn't love it because it's pretty crammed. Consumer Reports said it was 16 inches shorter than other SUV's. 2nd row captain's chairs plus and optional 3rd row was a huge selling point for me so we looked at the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Chevy traverse, Kia Sorento, and Hyundai Santa Fe. The Santa Fe was the least expensive for the captain's chair option. Those all might be more rounded looking but check them out just in case! I think they'd all be less than 40K.
I don't love the Rogue...but love Nissan, so this is also an option for us. I just wish Nissan would be like "shit, we made a mistake, here's the XTerra back."

I'm literally going to die right here in my chair. I'm so BOOOOOOORED. I have like 5 billable hours for 3 days of work...this is not great. But I'm catching up here.

I want a minivan so badly. SO BADLY. why do they cost as much as a luxury SUV though? Insane!!
Yes!!!!! It is insane. I said that a few post up! Even the 2014 used Oddsey with 60k + miles are 25-30k?! I have never had a car payment and idk if I can justify that!
So question....have you guys ever seen a minivan lowered? Yep like the teens do to their cars. We bought a 2000 Odyssey from a family who had their teen drive the van. Well for some stupid reason they let him lower it. And not the correct way. We've had it for almost a year now and are having suspension problems because of it. I would share a pic but my husband drives it to work on 2nd shift. Will make sure I get one tomorrow.
Ugh. I just called to estimate my OOP cost of the Materni21 testing, and it's absurd. Still, I THINK it should count towards my deductible...which will certainly be met VERY soon this year, and you know what? I'd pay thousands just to take home a baby this time, so, ultimately, I'm fine with it.
Still sucks, tho.

I happened to see the words buffalo chicken in some thread last week. No idea which thread or who posted it but since then I have been obsessed with Buffalo Chicken wraps. I have had at least one per day (usually for breakfast because I can't wait until lunch) and don't see the obsession ending anytime soon. Ran out of chicken yesterday and I'm going out of my mind.
Now I want a buffalo chicken wrap!
My cravings have been strange. Last we, it was apples. Now, it's bananas.
@SPurp13 Ugh, I am so sick of the billable hour. The worst is when I've been running around all day and then forget to write down my time. Then I can't account for my time later and bill like 3 hours for 10 hours of work.

Yeah I've been thinking about her lately too, it looks like she hasn't even been on since last month :-/ if you're lurking, @osucma we hope you're ok!!
All this talk of buffalo chicken wraps is sparking a craving... my intense heartburn will probably keep me from making this a reality though lol
my internet has been crap the past few days... I've been wanting to post but it takes forever and I was trying to avoid using up all my phone data. We're getting a new modem tomorrow which I hope will do the trick and in the meantime I'm throwing data caution to the wind... I'll probably regret that later

I leave for one day and ashaw gets banned, WTH?! @virginiaunicorn11 I really hope your gif has to do with ashaw being back because I already miss her.
Also I'm super impressed with the detective work on miss HDBD, we should've known she'd never miss a photo op. But I'm all for second chances, or third in some of your cases.
Lastly, DH refuses to get on board with a mini van but they are seriously the tits, I keep asking for one.

I haven't been able to keep up with everyone this week (sick toddler, the man cold starts earlier than expected) so I'm wondering if I missed a post about any of you feeling a quickening yet? It's too early for me, but I didn't know if any second or third (or more!) time moms who are due at the beginning of the month have felt their flutters yet. Am I getting ahead of myself?
